comapinion verse voyage isnt one of the afflicted with the parasite, they just see your party mucking about in the grove and does this:

like. actually it is a little more indepth- voyage definately presents as a not so bright fighter (admittedly, sustained body + head trauma and ptsd does kinda fuck w/ ur thinking abilities), but it becomes clear in a roundabt way that voyage does understand the danger you’re in: and goes out of their way to have you explain yourselves rather than jump to conclusions- but you do get a special game over if you fuck up certain points with them, following the creed of the eldtrich hunter, also like. romancing them is a completionists nightmare, because voyage does not play around with silly adventeruers, after making it out of literal hell.
