👻 Looking at her nails, she lolled her lollipop around slightly as they didn’t seem to react to what the other said. After all, she was pretending she couldn’t hear him. Since he wasn’t... the only ghost here. She could tell. There was so much... negative energy around this place that it almost made her nauseous. Plus... she really didn’t want any of the other spirits to know that... well she could hear or see them... since that would make her a target.

You know I never meant to cut you off     Got phantom feelings I can never stop          Stranger things to worry bout I know                But I’m so scared that I’ll end up alone

👻 Jocelyn was well aware of the history of this place... it was why she often avoided coming here. One because she had definitely outgrown this place, and two... because of it’s... unseen guests. Taking a deep breath, she made her way inside after having been standing outside the doors for a moment. It was still day time, so nothing weird could happen... after all the ghosts didn’t appear unless they had the cover of night.
“...It still smells the same...”

👻 Being a medium in a place filled to the brim with spirits? More like a migraine inducing nightmare fore Jocelyn Williams. Hurricane, Utah... certainly had its share of ghosts. Especially considering the disappearances and death of children... but if anyone was able to figure things out... it would have been a medium. Right?

Likes: Lollipops, Reading, Being alone, Kiwis, cinnamon hearts, writing, collecting dried plants and un-ironically visiting graveyards. Dislikes: The fact she can see and hear ghosts, fake mediums, trouble, getting involved in other people’s business and other sweets. Personality: Jo has always been a rather unique individual, she is sarcastic and often pessimistic; but that isn’t to say that she’s mean. If anything she is too honest, blunt if you will. Always telling things how it is, and never sugar coating the truth. She usually keeps to herself and keeps her nose out of other people’s issues or problems, since she already has enough of her own to deal with. But that isn’t to say she isn’t a good listener, lending an ear when she can or offering advice if asked for it. She has a bit of a pension for finding trouble, or rather, trouble likes to find her despite her best to avoid it. Hobbies: Pressing flowers, Scrapbooking, Gardening and Tarot Reading.

History: Jocelyn… never really had a normal childhood so to speak. After all, having inherited her grandmother’s gift and being able to see and hear ghosts… well let’s just say she was lucky it wasn’t noticeable at first. Since her parents simply thought she was talking to an imaginary friend or something. As she got older, however… Jocelyn began to realize that… no one else could see the things she saw. She learned very early on that not all spirits are good, as she had almost been taken over by the spirit.
Luckily, she was saved by her grandmother’s spirit but at the same time, that was the last time she was able to see her grandmother. Which led to her keeping quiet about what she saw, even going as far as ignoring and pretending not to see or acknowledge the spirits that were around her. Even when she was alone, she would mostly avoid them.
It was because of that incident that she began to ignore the spirits, of course… this didn’t always work. Not to mention was very taxing since it required her to focus more on blocking on the voices she heard or the spirits she saw. Not to mention it isn’t easy acquiring the necessary ingredients to create a remedy to repel them. So most of the time she just has to pretend she can’t see them and go about her day as normal as possible.
