I headcannon that Jason likes to play with your hair while you're simply existing. He braids it too, though he's not good at it. But the braids are cute because it's done with his two hands.-🐝

your boy loves playing with your hair

he uses it as sort of a method of coping with anxiety and stress, but it’s also something he does without even thinking about it. for this reason he likes it best when you’re resting together with your head in his lap. if you have braids in already he’ll braid the braids!! and yeah, they're a little messy but you'll keep them in all day long because he TRIED HIS BEST

when he first starting doing it you'd end up with random sections of your hair braided, and half-unwinding. but after awhile he starts to feel bad that you're walking around with your hair looking less than perfect, so he'll nearly beg you to teach him how to do your hair the right way. this leads to him finding other styles he wants to try to do on you, he likes to do french braids the best because the way he weaves in new strands of hair together always has you melting into his touch. he even started leaving hair ties on his wrist in case you need one or he decides on an impromptu braiding session. he will accept kisses as payment for his labor.

but he also likes just twisting and turning it gently around his fingers, the does this the most when he's reading and you're doing your own thing next to him, it's his way of remaining constantly close to you, physically and emotionally.

one of his pet peeves is that you keep letting the cat on the bed (even though you've explained to him before that you can't just tell a cat not to come on the bed--that she'll do it anyways). his other pet peeve is that you're always a cold sleeper (like to the touch), and you keep putting your feet against his leg in the dead of night. it's like a block of ice on his skin, and it jolts him awake every time.

your pet peeve is the way he picks at the scar on his lip. sometimes it bleeds, and you can hear the plick, plick, plick when he touches it, and you have to smack his hand off his face whenever you hear it cause it makes you uneasy.

oh, he also keeps using your toothbrush on accident cause he doesn't pay attention when he's in the bathroom with you (he always gets distracted when you're braless, go figure).
