 she should apologise,   should try to put into words that truly none of this has been her choice    (   she has never lied, but she has never been honest either   )      &&    that is a failing no matter how scientist may push feelings aside.   if she allows universe to see her how it wishes    -   be it cold,    be it naive,    be it simply too gentle to suit clever eyes   -    then she is only setting herself up for the things she fears.
