body

My skin is cold, hard, perfectly smooth and pale white, as if chiseled in marble. It breaks sunlight into prisms, so I have to hide to not be seen in this state. My eyes are golden or amber, turning darker and eventually into black. My hair is thick, a tad longer than most people these days usually wear it and blonde, almost golden as well. My body is not particularly muscular or broad, but isn't that slim or especially skinny as well. I prefer to wear suits, coats, vests, everything a tad more classy to appear some years older than I would otherwise and suitable for my profession as physician.

Good luck never feeling validated in your misery and to have everybody think and tell you how perfect you are to the point that your bad days are not aloud to be bad because you "have everything" and it all seems perfect from the outside. Good luck being constantly reminded of the high standards others put you to growing up that have now distorted the image you have of yourself. you are the deadly sin of pride. pride is literally, "a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements". the best example of pride from the great gatsby is nick carraway. through just the first page, he tells the reader how he reserves all judgments and is one of the few honest people left. when reading this, it seemed a lot less like he was just stating these facts and a lot more like he was bragging a lot.
