there's  so  much  marriage  talk  on  the  dash  (  i  love  it  ),  but  too  much  for  my  girlie  who  spent  most  of  the  game  not  actually  being  able  to  make  a  choice  on  who  she  wanted  to  be  with  because  she  didn't  want  to  hurt  the  people  she's  grown  to  love. then  she  ended  up  being  with  the  druid  who  doesn't  believe  in  restraining  someone's  heart. 

 it's  not  that  she's  against  the  institution,  or  doesn't  believe  in  being  married  and  poly,  because  she  does,  but  yrenia  doesn't  feel  her  traveler's  lifestyle  is  very  conducive  to  a  commitment  like  that. and  she's,  to  this  day  at  least,  hasn't  found  someone  that  the  commitment  would  make  sense  with  in  the  long  term. she  couldn't  be  with  someone  who  would  judge  her  for  the  lifestyle  she's  chosen  or  would  want  to  settle  down  in  a  village  somewhere. she wouldn't be against it if the situation made sense basically.

so  i  know  i  haven't  talked  about  it  on  here  at  all,  cause  rp  is  going  to  be  different  than  my  play  through. but  so  far,  yrenia  had  a  one  night  stand  with  lae'zel  and  has  been  romancing  with  wyll. i've  started  act  ii  and  wyll  and  yrenia  have  danced  together,  kissed,  and  wyll  has  basically  said  that  the  sun  rises  and  sets  with  them. yrenia  would  describe  being  with  wyll  like  the  most  unforeseen  thing  in  her  life. she's  never  fallen  in  love  before,  never  given  anyone  the  chance  to  break  her  heart. she  stumbled  into  it,  making  choices  for  what  she  felt  was  right  for  herself  and  the  people  she  now  cares  about ( the party ). those  choices  just  happened  to  align  with  wyll's  sense  of  morality. which,  if  she's  being  honest  with  herself,  surprises  her. 

 in  yrenia's  mind,  wyll  is  goodness incarnate. the  kind  of  good  that  people  want  in  the  world. the  kind  of  good  that,  as  a  child,  she  believed  in. she  believes  them  to  be  fundamentally  different  people  though,  and  that  could  affect  what  happens  with  the  two  of  them  later  on  in  the  game.

yrenia  and  i  both  cried  when  lae'zel  went  off  with  orpheus  after  they  destroyed  the  netherbrain. because  even  though  their  relationship  was  short  lived,  yrenia  has  a  lot  of  respect  and  cares  about  her  a  lot. but  they  knew  that  this  is  something  her  friend  really  needs  to  do.  they wouldn't try to talk her out of it.
