What's more humanist than having a baby?
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lex Luthor / F!Reader
Genre: Fluffy & Suggestive.
Give me a break—my days! Why does he have to look so good in YJ?! (ノ∀≦。)ノ
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU, MY LOVE! <3
Tumblr media
Lex Luthor was bothered.
He sat in his home office looking through paperwork for his latest project. Metropolis was still in its usual state, his company and illegal groundings ever stable.
Work had not been bothering him in ways that he was not accustomed to. This meant that he had no reason to be as bothered as he was.
But why has he been in a sour mood ever since he saw his wife entertain a baby while its parents discussed plans with him? She looked at it so lovingly, and ‘baby talk’ suddenly seemed like the smoothest language she had ever spoken.
The young being also seemed to share its affection for her as its sharp giggle spread around the room to Lex's cochlea, which budded his bother.
“Aw, she likes her already.” Said the woman he was discussing with, her smile on sight as she watched the charming display. “Little Grace’s already found a new friend. I'm so proud of her.” Lex was captivated as well. Being a witness to his wife's natural charm with children sent a familiar heat that spread over his skin and penetrated his bones and veins with a chill that bore deep into his heart.
“She’s a natural mother. She’ll do well with a child of her own.” The implication hadn't passed him, and a seed was planted.
Tumblr media
“You haven't been in a good mood in a bit, my love. Are you alright?” [Name] asked her husband as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders behind him.
“Yeah, I am.” You weren't satisfied with his response. “Are you sure? Nothing about your business, Superman, etc.” You pressed on, wanting to be aware of his behavioural change.
“Would you ever like to have children of our own at the moment, [Name]?” He spoke after a few moments of silence. The question made you pause for a moment, the cogs in your brain turning as it processed the sudden question.
“Yes, I would.” Your voice strummed against the thin air, highlighting the change in the atmosphere. “What brought this on?”
“I saw you with the Rayon child. You seemed so natural in your care for her. It made me feel odd.” Lex Luthor was a straightforward man; he didn't see a need to shift around.
“In what way?” Slightly startled, you asked, moving to stand before him. You felt pressure on your lower stomach and looked down to find Lex leaning on it as his hand gently wrapped around your waist.
“It made me want one of our own.” He confessed, lifting his gaze upon you, his green eyes gleaming towards your own—wait, was he pleading?
“I believe you would be an amazing mother, [Name]. Imagine it: a child with our genes, a creation of our making. Wouldn't that please you, [Name]? To finally have a little one who represents us?” You shook underneath the dimmed lights of the room, thoughts swirling as an indescribable want filled you. “I've been imagining them for some time now.” You confessed, admiring the slight curl your husband’s lips made.
“With my hair or yours?” You giggled at that and lifted your hand to caress his cheek lovingly and felt his sculpted jawline underneath. “You know, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to see her turn out to be ginger.” “Who said it’d be a girl? I think my boy would have your eyes.”
“Regardless of how they are, I’m going to love them so damn much. I can’t wait to embrace them all the time.” You sighed happily, settling yourself on Lex’s lap when he pulled you in. “Who says you have to wait any longer?” He purred in your ear, his left hand settling on your thighs, tracing circles on top of your skirt while his right neared its hidden zipper.
“Lex, you devil.”
“You know me, Darling. I’m quick.”

𖤐⭒๋࣭⭑ [𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏] ➜ He cheated, you found out. You don't know whether to leave him or not. Now what?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The egg in the pan let out a bitter scent before you firmly flipped it. “Ugh.” You let out as you looked at it from your sunken and puffed-out eyes, breathing in mucus as you struggled not to sob once more. “Over an egg? Over an egg, [Name]?!” You thought and picked up a tissue to brush your tears and stray drops of slick over.
Just yesterday, you found out about your beloved husband's cheating with his ex for two months.
You should have caught on to the signs during your parents’ gala that took place two months ago. Dana’s excitement led her to firmly hold on to Miguel's firm arm as Miguel discussed the success of a deal with Stark Industries with the both of you, which should have been a warning sight. It irked you slightly, but you didn't view it as enough to suggest anything. Maybe how Miguel didn't depart from her hand for minutes on end should have done it.
You've always been a bit credulous. Always having one too many friends who didn't really care about your well-being from the beginning, desiring all that your younger self, who faked sickening sweet kindness, had. The public loved every bit of it, as did your parents. You noticed the subtle hints of disrespect and commented on them much later. Far too late.
You made sure your presented nature wouldn't crawl into adulthood, but it spread itself into your relationship.
Miguel was a quiet nerd when you first got to know him. Never the hot topic, he stuck to himself the majority of the time.
You bonded with him while you visited your friend in the institution, watching as she obviously flirted with Miguel's friend while they walked with one another. Surprisingly, you bonded over an idle conversation about cake.
“Tres leches is fantastic! Dios mío, there's no arguing with that!”
“Yes, Tres leches may be fantastic to you, but [ — ] definitely crosses that!”
You both didn't catch the side-eye both friends gave one another.
The next week, a double date was set.
It was the perfect TV show grounding for marriage. It all feels like a waste now that you look back on it with low eyes.
“Mi Alma.” You rolled your eyes as your husband walked into the kitchen in sweats with a water bottle in hand. You felt the chill of the Five AM air for a moment before you turned to place the egg on your plate and turned off the stove.
The crinkle of the wrapper as you pulled out the loaves of bread constantly broke the silence in the room as you looked away from him.
“Were those four years we spent with one another a waste?” You asked after a moment, then opened your mouth to chew on a loaf. A tear poured down your cheek, but you quickly wiped it away.
“No, no, they were not, Cariño. They were the most amazing years of my life.” Miguel sadly sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I'm so sorry, Mi Amor. I promise I'll be better. For you, for us.”
“You don't get to call me that. How am I your love when you cheat on me?” You barked, glaring at him. Your fork clinked when it reached the floor. You sighed in exhaustion and picked it up. You tossed it into the pile of dishes in the sink. “Fuck, I feel done.”
“Can’t we just get past this? We've been through so much for something like this to tear us apart. Miguel tsked and shook his head as he rolled his eyes. Nervousness ran through them, but he wouldn't show it. “Are you fucking serious right now, Miguel?! I should get over it?! Is that what you're saying?!” You yelled, frustrated, and you took deep breaths to calm down. “You’re such a fucking asshole, Miguel.”
“What about you, [Name]?! You're so damn ungrateful! I’m there for you! I support you, but you never support your husband! You barely do anything useful; you're always so caught up in your work that we can't even spend time together!” Miguel yelled, drawing closer to you.
“I have to work, Miguel! What part of that don't you understand?! I don't do anything useful?! Who's the one who does nearly everything in this household?! Me! You aren't even around for us to spend time together! If you aren't working late into the night, you're fucking patrolling! Do you want me to just sit down and wait for you?! I have other things to do!” You couldn't be more thankful in the moment that the room was soundproof. You could let out more than you would have in other spaces.
“You are so damn stubborn! Fuck! We can't even have a conversation without you trying to form an argument!” Miguel yelled, standing at arm's length as he pointed at you.
“Don’t point at me, Miguel.” You demanded and backed away from him to grab your purse. “If you honestly think that this isn't overdue, you're ridiculous. Stop victimising yourself. I’m the one who was cheated on. Go be with Dana, who probably won't piss you off as much as I do.” You said it with a crack at the end of your words as you struggled not to break down.
“[Name], I-” Miguel pushed his hand forward to grab your arm, but you pushed it closer to your form as you quickly left the hotel room. “Read the letter on the kitchen table. Or don’t. I don't really care.” You closed the door and walked away.
On the kitchen table, a letter in cotton paper was laid on it with your mother’s formal handwriting, inviting the both of you for lunch before your departure. Miguel cursed as he read it, the stress already getting to him as he envisioned how it would be.
Meanwhile, you headed to the café, reassuring yourself to calm down as you walked the longer route to it, hoping to have felt better when you reached there.
What you didn't notice was your mother’s gaze upon you from her balcony as she let out another puff from her cigarette while in her white silk nightgown, a black coat with a fluffy neck covering her as she cocked her eyebrows. Her eyes squinted at the moment you paused to quickly rub your eyes. She let out a hum, watching your figure disappear from her sight.
Tumblr media
“These crumpets are quite fantastic.” Your father smiled, spreading another with blackberry jam as he chewed the spongy and soft treat. “We should wait for a few moments before requesting lunch, no? It will only take them a few more moments to arrive.” Your mother smiled at the both of you, a glass of water in hand, before taking in a long sip, bothered.
“So, Miguel, how have you been? Is there any success in the partnership with Calahan Tech? I've heard much about it in the Nueva York Times. Business moguls are just as excited about it as I am.” Your father's eyes twinkled in excitement as he imagined the size of the funding he would receive and the amount of votes the results of the collaboration would bring him in the next election as he snacked on a pig in the blanket.
“I’ve been well, Joseph. The agreement to partner has been a bit tough because we've been trying to convince the funders to work with us, but I’m sure we're about to reach a breakthrough.” Miguel responded, proud, as a smile appeared on his face. His hand shifted to your thigh under the table, alerting you as you took a quick look around before shoving it off of you. You were still bothered; he could tell by the way you struggled not to furrow your brows and the quick way your heart beat at his gesture, which reverberated in his ears as you gracefully downed a glass of water to calm your nerves.
“If you ever need some extra help, you know who to call. I can convince those hotshots to remove the sticks up their asses and agree.” “Joseph!” Mary whispered with a hiss, patting his arm as the man chuckled. “No one heard me, Darling. I whispered.” Your father said it with a wink, placed his hand over his wife's, and squeezed it. Her shoulders slouched, pleased even if she didn't verbally express it, at her husband's gesture, and she looked at their intertwined selves, then went back to her drink.
Joseph winked at the both of you once more and separated his hold from hers for the appetisers.
Your heart squeezed with want as you watched them. It was a moment of love, but also a reminder that you couldn't have that anymore. You looked away with a smile, not wanting to endure the feelings of sadness that weighted your heart.
“Hello, Mary. Hello, Joseph”. You heard in the background but were unable to focus on the two new voices in the background as you focused on calming yourself down.
“Cariño, I-” Miguel whispered in your ear, catching onto your feelings, but a sharp noise broke the moment.
“[Name]! Look at you! You're getting more and more gorgeous by the day! My gosh, you're glowing!” Elle, your sister-in-law, beamed and hugged you from your seat. You stood up quickly to hug her and beamed when you saw your brother walking up to the table.
“Aww, you're so adorable! Gosh, we haven't seen you in a bit.” “We apologise for that, by the way.” Micah shook your hand and led Elle to their seats. He smiled at the stink eye your mother threw at the both of them and rolled his eyes once he looked away from her.
“We apologise for arriving so late. Some business had to be taken care of just at the moment I was to leave the office.” Micah said with an apologetic look on his face. “We wish that we could have arrived on your anniversary as well, [Name] and Miguel. Work, once again, occupied us. Happy belated fourth anniversary to the both of you.” Elle congratulated him with a smile and thanked the waiter when he brought their wine.
You internally giggled at her personality change. Elle was always so casual around you but had to become formal when the fact that she's in public sets in. It wouldn't be good for a model to appear improper.
“How are you, Miguel?” Elle was greeted as Micah nodded. “We haven't seen each other in a while, man.”
“I’m doing well, thank you. I’m just taking care of the missus.” Miguel responded to Micah’s approval and your resistance to roll your eyes. “It’s been four years. I still can't believe that [Name] managed to tie someone down. She's so difficult.” Micah chuckled as you glared at him. “Speak for yourself. I still can't believe Elle wanted you. She could have done so much better.” You giggled and dismissed him with a wave of your hand.
“Don’t you remember when you..." Micah began, but Mary interrupted him. "Children, there is no need to complain about one another. To be quite honest, I didn't expect either of you to get married so soon. I thought that you'd both get married after building up your characters.” Your mother giggled, much to both of your dismay.
“Mum? You're cracking a joke? Are you sure you're alright?” Micah questioned, raising a brow that quickly came down when you kicked him underneath the table. “What was that for?” “What are you talking about?” You evaded his glare with a smile.
“I’m just glad to finally see my children and their spouses in the same spot.” Your mother had a gentle smile as she looked at the both of you as your partners looked elsewhere for a moment. She didn't approve of Elle either.
In her view, her children were supposed to marry someone of their status. Someone who is highly regarded. Not anything but that.
However, she regarded your brother in a higher manner when it came down to who he chose to marry.
Elle was a ‘blantant gold digger’ in her words, ‘a model who just wanted someone to raise her higher in the industry’. Micah was a highly praised film director and writer. Who better to expose her to the world of the rich and famous than him?
“Before we continue, Micah and I have an announcement to make.” Elle announced and stood up along with her husband. Your heart dropped as the next sentence echoed in your brain.
“We're pregnant!” They both grinned and hugged one another while grins appeared on your parents' faces. “Congratulations!” Mary cheered and eagerly stood up to hug the couple. “Congratulations. My boy, you've done it again!” Joseph grinned, to which Micah flustered.
“Congratulations!” You finally joined in, grinning as you hugged them both, a bit too tightly. You wanted the moment to feel real. You weren't upset. You couldn't be. You shouldn't be.
“That's a bit tight.” Elle said, causing you to break it. “Oh, I'm sorry. I'm already excited to see your little one or ones.” You grinned. “Congratulations, you two. We can't wait to see the little one.” Miguel smiled next to you, wrapping his arm around your waist.
You could feel the sharp looks from your parents, Micah and Miguel. Elle paused to look at you, and her brows furrowed in worry. "I hope this wasn't inappropriate." She whispered in your ear, looking at Miguel for a moment, holding your hand, to which you tightened the hold. "Elle, are you excited for this new part of your life? I'm so happy for the both of you." You shook your head to hint, and a relieved smile appeared on her face. "Yes, yes, I am." She responded and hugged Micah. He hugged back and smiled at you as a form of assurance and sternly looked at Miguel, to which he looked away.
“I can't wait to find out the gender of your little one. Searching for outfits will be pleasant.” Mary said once you all sat down, smiling at the couple who were in their own moment of adoration as food was brought on the table. Your heart broke as you watched Micah caress Elle’s stomach lovingly, and her hand lifted to squeeze his as they smiled at one another.
You looked at Miguel, whose eyes remained trained on yours, and softly sighed when his hand held yours in assurance, wanting the hurt to end when yours squeezed his. Clinging onto his attention, you hoped that it would rub off the pain you felt, but guilt and shame crawled onto you. You drew your hand from his and onto your fork.
“I just know they'll be spoiled rotten.” Ella giggled as Micah let out a chuckle. “Definately. We'll have to watch out for that.” “I can't wait to meet my first grandchild.” Your mother’s gaze fell on you for a moment, emitting her disappointment in you before having it on the couple as she grinned more.
Much was discussed around the table. The women's attention remained trained mainly on the little one and topics that interested them, as the men were cooped up in their own little world. Soon, it was near the hour of your departure.
“[Name]. Let's chat for a moment in private.” Your mother said once Micah and Elle left to arrange their hotel room. The frown on her features became more evident the more you both drew away from the public eye. You both stepped into an empty break room. Once the click of a lock was heard, you sighed.
“Do you even realise just how disappointed I am in you, [Name]?” Your mother started. “Micah has a child before you. He hasn't even crossed two years with that girl, and he's made so much progress compared to you. You should be ashamed, [Name].” Anger flared in you as the words sunk in. You had already been through so much in such little time. Why did life’s cards decide to add more to your plate?
“Why does it bother you so damn much? I’ll have children when I want to. What part of that don't you understand?” You responded, glaring at the older woman. “You’ve always regarded Micah highly in comparison to me when it comes to marriage.” You rolled your eyes at her glare.
“[Name], Micah’s a man. Whether or not he has children early, he's alright. If he were to even leave Elle, he'd find someone new. He’d be able to have children, regardless. Men get better with age, unfortunately, unlike us. Your clock is ticking, [Name]. You need to progress into the next step of your life before it's too late.” Mary shook her head and sighed at what she believed was your foolishness.
You drifted into lassitude, it clinging to you like glue, with the realisation that she would never be satisfied with you until you did what pleased her. “I can just imagine how the public will react to this. You've set yourself up for failure.”
“I need to go.” You said, looking at the keys in her hand. “[Name]. Why can't you just listen to me? Did I raise such an impudent child? I’m just looking out for you, [Name]. I don't want you to experience regret. It'll never stop. I’m guiding you towards the right path.”
“Open the door.” You said once more, refraining yourself. “Why do you act so childish? I’m trying to help you.” Mary insisted, only further pushing your buttons. “Open the door.” You repeated it and headed towards it. You hand motioned at it. “You’re going to regret it if you continue with what you're doing.” Mary said, placed the key inside the keyhole, and turned it. “Maybe I will; maybe I won't. I respect you so much, Mum. Let's end this.” You said, then opened the door. “This will only end if you do what is right.” Was all you heard her softly say. You left.
Tumblr media
“They offered only sixteen million dollars to help fund the project?” Your father questioned Miguel as he puffed the cigar on his lips and blew it out. The smoke waved in the air, and Miguel glanced at it for a moment as he drank his glass of beer. “Yes, they did. They didn't believe in the project’s potential until recently, when testing made a lot of progress.” Miguel responded, then drank the rest of his drink.
“Your drinking tolerance must be high. You've drank four beers since you arrived, and you're still standing straight. You'd do amazing in the drinking competitions that go on in the basement on Saturdays. Don't tell Mary; she wouldn't be pleased to know about them.” Joseph winked, to which Miguel chuckled as he shook his head. “Don’t worry, your secret’s safe with me.”
“Miguel, why won't you have children?” Your father broke the silence and looked at him, somewhat disappointed. “I’m a man as well, Miguel. It's not hard to conclude the possibilities.” The cigar was nearing its last draw.
“My career. I don't think it would let me enjoy the simple pleasures of family life. I do my research late into the night. [Name] does so much to accommodate that. I don't think it would be right of me to bring children into that.” Miguel confessed with a sad gaze as he thought back to your heartbroken expression when you found out about his involvement with Dana.
It hunted him throughout the missions he did that night, rage and shame filling his form, and anyone around him sensed it. Many in the Spider-HQ avoided him in the brief night he was there. Jessica and Peter avoided him as well, aside from brief interactions. They knew he'd pour out his feelings to them eventually.
“As much as using work as an excuse gratifies you, it's a poor choice, Miguel. You'll regret it if you decide to let it linger.” Your father looked at him from the side of his eye and rubbed his moustache.
“My work was easier in my younger days, but I found it just as challenging as I find it now. I was just an assistant to the previous politician at the time, too. You understand what I’m hinting at when I say that, right?” Miguel nodded, to which the older man smiled.
“I had my children either way. It was a struggle to tackle the task of raising them and working. I had days where I thought I didn't do enough for them and that I found my work to be more important. Mary had her own career to focus on. She would work late into the night. I’m assuming that [Name] does the same thing since she chose to be a designer just like her mother. Do I need to be corrected?” “No, you don't. You're right.”
“We still did the best we could, regardless. We could have done some things better, yes. But we can't go back in time to correct ourselves. We can only give advice to those who seem to be going astray.” Joseph hinted, looking at Miguel, who looked back at him.
Joseph knew; he could tell by the way he looked at him, disappointed and angry, but chose to contain himself.
“I only hope you won't regret your decision, Miguel. Just know that I will be alongside my daughter when she decides to tell us.” Your father took in one last puff and let it out. Miguel and Joseph gazed at the smoke one last time until it disappeared into the clear, blue sky over the beautiful atmosphere.
Joseph's cigar remained in its ashtray, the soft red of it fading with each passing moment. Both men took in the peacefulness of the atmosphere with sombre spirits.
Tumblr media
Moments after you freshened up, you headed to your husband. “We should head out in a bit.” You said, then placed your head on his shoulder and laid your hand on his chest. He noticed how drained you felt. He sensed the irregularity in your hormones. You felt his arms wrap around you, and you wrapped yours around his. You made your decision at that moment.
“Cariño, I am so sorry. I'll be better. I'll never hurt you again.” He whispered in your ear, his soft tone and the warmness of his breath in your ear making you melt in his arms as you tightened your hold on him.
“We will see each other once more.” Mary stated, across both of you with her husband. She hugged you, then Miguel. Her hands held the sides of both your shoulders and shook them. “Drive safe, alright?” Joseph said, then hugged you and shook Miguel's hand. “Yes, sir. We'll be alright.” Miguel responded and shook the keys with a grin.
“We hope to hear some good news soon.” Your mother commented, smiling as she directly looked at you. “We will soon, won't we, Miguel?” Joseph said, looking at Miguel with a grin. “Hopefully.” Miguel responded and straightened himself. You could tell that something happened between them. “Don’t worry, you will soon.” You responded with a smile and left hand in hand with your beloved.
Tumblr media
The strawberry air freshener, coffee, Miguel's spicy cologne, and your sweet perfume lingered in the air of your home when you both stepped in. The cosiness hugged your form, and you took it all in, craving the warmth you desperately needed in the last two days.
“Miel, it feels good to be back, doesn't it?” Miguel placed your luggage on the side and hugged your waist, savouring the comfort of the air before him. You squeezed into his warmth, cherishing it as a longing emotion overcame you. You turned to face him, and before anything could pour from his plump lips, you locked them with your own.
He lifted you, soft lips still entangled, his stamina much greater than your own, to the wall, willing to do all the work as you squirmed in eagerness across him. “Let me help you.” You said, in between gasps, need flaring all over your body as he kissed your neck, nearing your collarbone as kisses and tiny licks trailed towards it.
You could feel the slight sting of a canine; the sensation became foreign as it had been a long time since you embraced in hazy lust. Your body missed it—the curl of your back as you felt it draw a messy line down your collarbone.
“Mikey, please-” You drew out a sharp breath, your eyes hinting towards the stairs that led up to your bedroom, then shut tight when he pressed his hips closer to your own, evidently just as excited as you were. He lifted you in a hug, and your legs immediately clung on to his waist as he tightly held on to you, almost as though you'd disappear right there and then.
“Mi Vida, I promise I will never hurt you again. Te quiero tanto. Te quiero, te necesito tanto, Mi Vida, Mi Todo. Por favor, por favor, déjame tenerte.”
[“I love you so much. I love you, I need you so much, My Life, My All. Please, please let me have you.”]
“You can have me, Mikey. Please.” You dragged on, clinging more to him as want consumed your forms.
The sensual fog filled the house as carnal desire mixed between your bodies late into the night. You finalised your decision as sweat stuck to your body, your gaze on Miguel as he slept soundly. You hadn't seen him like this in such a long time. Your fingers moved to separate a stray lock that stuck to his cheekbone. Pain struck your heart when you thought about how Dana must have seen him this intimately. You wouldn't blame her if she did the same thing you had just done. You just hated that she got to.
The never-ending bustle of Nueva York in the distance was all you drifted off to sleep once more with. You had a fleeting thought of what went on in his mind when he watched you drift off to sleep first. You knew he must have loved it; he must have gazed at you with the same adoration during your first moments together. You missed it all.
Tumblr media
“I want a divorce, Miguel.” You calmly let out, scrambled eggs on your plate and his as you ate breakfast with one another, spirits low. He sighed, an indication that he expected this, then looked at you, searching for a sign that you would consider any plea that fell from his lips. He didn't find any. “I’m sorry, Mi Amor.” He apologised, then drank coffee. The cup was placed on the counter a bit loudly for comfort. He looked towards you in apology. You nodded, then turned to eat.
“I know.” You responded, looking out the window at the eggs that softly lay on the nest on top of the tree next to the household, wondering if, by leaving him, you'd unlock the path towards that. The mother bird’s eyes lingered on her eggs for a moment. Maybe it was in adoration.
You let out a hum, making Miguel shift his low eyes towards your own in questioning, and you shook your head, then turned back to your plate.
Tumblr media
I’m done!!! Yessssss!!! I don't know whether to continue with this or not. If I do, it'll take a bit to get chapters. This took a bit out of my lifespan but I’m so happy that I wrote this! ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡

Pairing: König/F! Reader!
Genre: Fluff & Angst!
Word Count: 2,184!
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU, MY LOVE! <3
Tumblr media
“OH, HOW I WISH THEY’D LEAVE YOU ALONE.” [Name] sighed as she held the young man close to her chest as his heart beat rapidly. The young couple rested in the treehouse built in König’s home after school, bothered by yet another bullying by a group of boys who loved to pick on König.
A packet of expired milk was thrown at him while the bullies rode away on their bikes. Luckily, the leader didn’t dodge the hard throw of the boot at him as [Name] swore up and down while running to collect her shoe and aim once more.
Her heart tore when she looked back to see the defeated look on her love’s face as he used pieces of tissue from his bag to clean his face of stray bits of chunks and even more of them on his shirt. “Let me help you.” She whispered, caressing his damp cheek and holding the roll.
“I am so sorry, Kö. I wish I could help you more.” The young woman held him tighter for a moment as a stray tear from her eye dropped down to his cheek. “Meine Puppe, weint nicht, weint nicht.” “My doll, don't cry, don't cry.” He lifted himself from her hold and spread his arms around her, comforted by her warm frame as she hugged back, smelling the scent of his freshly dried shirt and breathing it all in. It smelt like sunlight.
“How’s home, Puppe?” König asked, holding her on his chest as they watched the bird pecking at a wooden branch across the window. “It’s a bit low, Honig.” Honey. “It’s the month of my father’s anniversary, after all. She’s always in her room unless she has something urgent to do. I have to bring her food sometimes too.” You sighed sadly as you recalled, pushing your head into König’s warm chest. König rubbed his hand on your back as you teared up.
Your father passed while on a mission due to an ambush. You recalled the expression your mother made as his best friend stood at the door, holding a letter with his right hand and an army hat with his left as he requested entry. It was sombre, awaiting breakage.
You stepped out into the sitting room from the hallway where you hid on time to see your mother crush to the floor from her seat, holding her screams with her palm as she sobbed. A letter swiped across the room as the friend dropped down to calm her, and you ran to wrap your shaking arms around her while you wept. The news was obvious even if you didn't hear it.
“I miss him, Kö.” You said as you wept, grateful for his presence. He tightened his hold on you, whispering sweet nothings in your ear. “I wish he never enlisted. I know he went with what his heart wanted, but I’m selfish. I wish he had stayed here. With me, with us.”
König’s heart hurt with every sniff and shake [Name] made as she cried silently, the pain syncing with her action as guilt overcame him.

“The summer’s going pretty great, right? No more school, no more bullies, and no more assignments! Gosh, I’m glad we've finally graduated!” You danced around the secluded field of the park while König sat on the grass, a gentle smile on his face as he watched you.
You plopped down to him and rested your head on his upper bicep, smiling as you soaked in the freedom of finally doing whatever your heart desired. König smiled at the hopefulness you exuded but couldn’t stop the tension he felt from his decision. He thought he’d be brave enough to inform you, as it was a warm day in one of your favourite spots.
He had to tell you. He couldn’t keep it in any longer.
“[Name]?” He started. “Yes?” He felt cold, the air was thick, and he wished to run away, but he felt held onto by stone. Likely his guilt.
“I want to enlist.” “What?” [Name] quickly looked at him as shock set over her. She was quick to stand, König following her as she began to unravel. “W-why would you want to?” “I need to find myself, [Name]. I feel that who I am might be there.” König responded, stepping closer to you, who stepped further from him.
“Why can’t you find it here? You can apply to be an officer if such a life excites you. It’s safer, too.” You desperately tried to convince him as your eyes watered at the determination in his. “Ich werde es dort finden, Liebling.” I’ll find it there, Darling.
“What if something terrible happens to you, Kö? What if you die?” You felt a shiver run through your body when you uttered the word, stressed as you recalled your father and the fate your Love was willing to encounter. “Please, please don't go. We’ll figure it out here. Please? ” You pleaded, crushed when he turned away to avoid you. “I have to go.” He cringed at the wail audible in your throat as you struggled to hold it in, tears threatening to slip out.
You mustered the strength to speak despite the slight trembles your bottom lip began to make. “You know what this means, König.” His heart dropped, aware. “I don’t think I can continue this. It’s alright if you enlist, but I can’t be with you anymore. It’d be so much to bear.” You tears threatened to pour as you spoke, hurt increasing as each sentence fell from your lips as you watched him bow his head down in defeat. “I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have to apologise; I understand.” König said, sharing in your feelings as he sunk in guilt at the spare tears that coated areas of your cheek. You crushed into him for one more hug, tightening your hold on him as tears freely fell from your eyes. You felt droplets drip onto your scalp and forehead as he held you tightly in his arms.
You clinged onto one another’s warmth for one last time under the hot summer sun.
Tumblr media
Paper drank the ink of your pen as you struggled to write the letter once more. Would he find it inappropriate to see it was from you and toss it away?
“Ugh.” You groaned, throwing the stained paper away. Who were you kidding? Why would he want to see you again after you left him?
You groaned at the low rumble in your stomach, rolling your eyes as you stood. “I forgot to go grocery shopping, didn't I? Fast food? Fast food.”
You stood in the line, surveying the lit menu above you as many others did, watching as an advertisement passed from slide to slide.
“Cookie Crumble & Caramel at €3.55!” Nah, too sweet for the moment.
“Sweet & Spicy chicken with []’s glazed sauce and large fries at €10.99!” I’m not really in the mood.
“Double Double offer of large and regular fries, two large burgers of choice, and a box of chicken with two large smoothies of choice at €25.99!” Too much. I don't have anyone to eat this with.
You moved back and bumped into someone. “I’m so-rry.” You paused your words, eyes widening. You thought you'd never feel him again; only in dreams did you believe you'd see him once more.
“König.”
“[Name].”
Words ran dry in your mouth, and the awkwardness clutched onto you. He felt the same, eyes rotating towards a painting, then back at you.
Gosh, he got even more handsome.
The sweatshirt he wore did his body justice. His muscles peeked underneath the thin material, and the fabric stopped right underneath a muscle and cozed well. You bet that you could count the number of veins on sight if you were just a bit nearer. His abs are prominent as well, with just a bit of fat peeking out on his lower stomach. His sweatpants were average and hugged his waist comfortably.
Forgetting your hunger for oil, another one occupied your mind.
“How are you?” You asked, slightly flustered as you tried to calm your mind. “I’m good. How are you?” He responded with a slight smile.
Gosh, you got even more beautiful.
Your face, although a bit mature, was lush as ever with life, your voice more pleasant than the one he grew accustomed to hearing whenever his anxiety set in, and your body, days, remained a pleasurable sight in his eyes. Each slight movement of it, from your breath to your gaze on him filled him with an unspeakable want. You were more firm in your step, too, adulthood having seeped in.
“Are you on break?” You asked, inwardly wincing as you felt the question was too personal when it was audible. “Ja, actually.” He responded calmly, himself tearing away from his want as well, cooling your nerves.
“It’s going well so far.” König said, and you were relieved that you wouldn't drag on the topic for much longer.
“I’m glad to see that you’re well, König.” You smiled forcefully, stepping forward when the man in front of you left the counter. While ordering, you couldn’t help but feel nervous. He could see you, hear you, and certainly see how nervous you were. He always saw through you.
“Here.” You brought your credit card out, but it was held. “Let me.” König said, giving his card to the cashier. “No, no, it's alright.” You stopped insisting, finding it inappropriate to the people behind you, thankful.
“To-go or here?” “Here.” The connection between your brain and mouth cut the minute you saw him.
“Thank you.” You choked out, holding your ticket. You wondered if you should just inform a worker that you were planning to get the meal to-go when they called you for it on the red tray, but when König’s frame in the distance walked in your direction, you didn't want to leave.
“You’re welcome.” König observed you from across the table. His gaze was piercing, confident from that of his younger self. You couldn't help the feeling of wanting it to continue despite your nerves.
“How long do you intend on staying here?” You asked, looking elsewhere for a moment as you calmed yourself. “A few weeks.” He responded, gazing at you.
“How's everyone?” “Mum's alright. She’s decided to take up baking in a club among the women in the neighbourhood. Your mum and her make an amazing team. You should really try out the cupcake recipe they made together.” You chuckled, amused yet unsurprised at how he still cared for your family. Ties weren't broken as easily as you thought.
“I tried it out last night. Ja, it's pretty good. Our mothers make a formidable team.” König chuckled as fond memories engulfed him.
Looking at you, he remembered the silly declaration he made to his mother in his teen years after a few forbidden sips of beer brought by his cousins, slurring as she held a warm towel to his forehead while his head rested on her hips, swallowing her scolding for the morning with scrunched brows.
“I'll marry her. You'll see. She's amazing, Mama. Perfect in every way for me. I love her so much. Mrs. [Name] [K/L/N]. It's so fitting, isn't it, Mother?”
“I'm going to get in a lot of trouble for this, aren't I?”
Determination swept his mind for a moment, his boyish sentence ever relevant as he took in your presence. Younger him was correct; his last name suited you.
“I can't wait to see what they will come up with next.” You chuckled, breaking him out of his thoughts. “I love the bond they have sustained over time, though.”
“Well,” You awkwardly peered down at the ticket you held and looked at the TV nearby, “our meals’ ready. I'll go get it.” You moved to step out, but König held your arm. “I’ll get it. I'm much closer to the counter.” “It’s alright, I don’t mind.” “I don't either. You’ve done a lot for me today. Let me, please.”
Caution was tempting to throw to the wind the more he held your arm, his warm hand reminding you of past touches, igniting a flame in you.
König gazed at you a moment before he let go, leaving with a quick smile from you. “See? It didn't take aeons to arrive, and I'm alright.” You teased, placing his food first on his side before your own. His dish was massive in comparison to his own, but you didn't expect anything else from him. For a moment, you remembered the Kartoffelpuffer you made whenever you got a chance to for him. His amount was larger by one or two pancakes, and he always commented on how good it was.
“I'm glad I’ve gotten to see you.” König blurted out, looking directly at you with a tinge of nervousness he could never hide from you. “I’m glad we’ve met today as well.” You softly smiled, words hidden underneath your gaze at him.
If it weren’t for the public space you both were seated in, more would have been expressed.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“You haven't been talking much today; what's up?” Dana's hand was placed on Miguel's waist as she clung closer to him, her leg atop his hip. Hints of spice filled her senses as she inhaled. The moonlight shone through her glass windows in the dark, with the white curtains swaying a bit at the warm wind that hit them.
“Hmm, summer’s nearly here. It’s been getting hotter.” She spoke, silently insisting he utter a response. It didn't work.
Miguel's mind couldn't be further from the woman's warmth, his mind misting away to the darling he called his. He tried desperately to envision that it was [Name] speaking to him, her warmth clinging to him, and that she just happened to form an adoration for citrus perfume instead of the fruity one he grew accustomed to. The hold felt like sickness. Even her hand could never caress him the way Dana’s did as her hand slowly dragged down his abs, nearing his happy trail.
His hand gripped hers, earning a scoff as she rolled her eyes. “Now you react. Ugh, men.” Dana said, removing her hand from his hold and placing it on his stomach, cherishing the bumps under her hand. Miguel was certainly a fine specimen. Even when married, she has the luck to hold him.
The glow of his wedding ring irked them both when he caressed her cheek.
“Surely you can remove the wedding ring. It's so annoying.” She spat, its sight at the corner of her eye bringing her discomfort. It was a constant reminder of her sins; a tinge of guilt crawled to her whenever she saw it. She was a woman, even if she didn't like [Name]. She understood how much it would hurt her if she knew, but, gosh, did she selfishly want Miguel to herself.
“Dana...” Miguel sighed, looking at it as she leaned into him, frowning. “I’m really expanding myself here, Miguel. My ring’s off because I don't want you to think of Gabriel. Why can't you do the same for me?” Dana asked, eyes low as her eyes fell on the ring. She departed herself from his hold and turned around, frustrated. She tightly shut her eyes as guilt overwhelmed her for a moment.
“I care for you, Dana. Don't doubt that.” Miguel’s hand clung to her waist and pushed her to him. “Then act like it.” Her hand caressed his.

“One more pin on the side.” Your fingers worked on the mannequin, a pin on the fabric of the gown, holding it as you moved to its side.
Your mind was clouded as you tried to focus on the correct measurements, your task holding a distraction from the looming air that you knew was increasing with each passing moment.
Were you mistaken to leave him? Shouldn't you have forgiven him? You couldn't help but wonder for a moment if it was cowardly or courageous to just plead with Miguel that you were wrong in your decision.
It felt new to hold this much power in your relationship. You never wished to or had a need to do so. You loved the man.
Tumblr media
Gosh, you're so adorable with these.” You giggled, sitting on Miguel's lap in his dorm, as you removed his glasses—they always pulled a giggle from your lips whenever you saw him with them—from his face and placed them on your own. “I look just like you now, don't I?” You winked and showed off your face as he chuckled at your antics.
“Don’t you have someone else to disturb? You look even better than me.” Miguel responded, reaffirming his hold on your waist as you took them off. “That prescription is quite strong. My smart man reads so much he needs to see better.” Said you, teasing before placing them back on his face and kissing his nose. “A last touch. You look even better.”
The glow of the warm summer sun melted on his young, warm brown skin, his vest, and his shorts, making you hold back a scream of delight as you imagined that all was meant for you and you only.
“I have a diamond next to me; of course I look better. You, Mi Vida, are stunning.” He earned a scoff and chuckle from your lips before you softly kissed one another, the moment being so perfect. “You know that's absolutely right.”
Tumblr media
“Ah..shit.” You let out, a tear seeped into your fabric before another joined it. Before you knew it, multiple tears made their way down your face as you abruptly stopped and made your way to your quarters, sadness coating you as you flopped on the bed and let out a sob, tightening your hold on the blanket below you.
“I did more than enough, didn’t I? Why was it not enough? Why?” You continuously tried to catch air as you shook involuntarily, a headache seeping its way under your skull. “Was I not enough?”
You didn’t consider it an option to remove yourself from your pitiful position, even if the wetness of where your head lay got uncomfortable. Heaviness drifted you off to sleep; a silent plea was made to relieve you.
Tumblr media
“What are we going to do about this house?” “What are you suggesting?” Wine was in your glasses as you sat across from one another on the kitchen counter, Miguel’s gaze on his laptop, and your own on your sketchbook. You hummed, running your eyes through a line to be sure that it matched your reference. “I think that we should…sell it.” His eyes caught yours, as you thought.
“Yeah, we should sell it. What do you think?” You felt a pang of sadness at the beginning of the breakdown of one of many things that defined your marriage. He sighed, sharing in your feelings, and ran his hands through his hair. “Wow, we’re really doing this.” He voiced the silent sentence, to which you sighed. “Yeah, we are.” You understood his pain, trying to calm yourself as you watched him lean into the table.
“Do we really have to do this?” Miguel sighed, his eyes clear with pleading, while your eyebrows furrowed. “Of course we have to. I want to move on with my life, Miguel.” You said, irked. “I wouldn't be doing any of this if it weren't for you.” You took a large sip and clanged it onto the table. The wine bottle never looked so attractive.
“I know, my Love, and I’m sorry. Can't we just give this a bit more time? Please?” Miguel was clearly on edge about this. Guilt overcomes you as you watch him, but your decision is firm.
“I’m being generous with my time here, Miguel. If it weren't for our circumstances, I would have you pack up and leave, but I don't want this to become public.” You sighed. “It’s five A.M. I don't want to be late.” You arranged your belongings and left, but not before moving your eye to the side to see Miguel's hands on his face as he slouched. You wish he was honest.
[Name] admired her father’s vinyl collection as she awaited his return from a meeting.
The classics aroused her, her nostalgia overflowing as she recalled the tunes Joseph would play as he read the local newspaper while writing notes of his own.
His office was a traditional-modern type. He loved technology truly as he cheered at each advancement man made, but he couldn't help but adore the look of a wooden table and bookshelf infused with inner tech alongside a vintage record player. You couldn't help but wonder how to approach your divorce with your parents.
Your mother would likely be sardonic about it, while your father would offer comfort alongside her.If she knew the reason why you were to leave, she'd scoop you up in her arms with your belongings as she cursed Miguel while bringing you back to her home.
They would know the reason eventually. Just not immediately after you divorced. “The spark died.” or “we just didn't understand each other anymore.” have always been standard reasons to leave your partner. You couldn't believe that you were willing to grant him the peace of a less messy divorce.
You decided to freshen up before your father arrived, knowing that he would take aeons explaining his recent endeavours to you. Reapplying your mascara in the restroom, you looked to the side and paused, your heart racing as anger overcame it.
“Oh, you're here too.” Dana sighed, rolling her eyes. “You have some nerve talking to me like that, mistress.” You spat, turning to her and running your eyes through her form as she stood rigid at the remark, scowling as she glared at you.
“Trouble in paradise, I assume?” She smiles, scoffing as she crosses her arms. “You didn't deserve him anyway. He should be with a real woman. Not some bitch who can't even satisfy her husband properly.”
“I’m a bitch? Let's not confuse each other's names. You're the one out on the streets.” You spoke, rolling your eyes at the exhaustion you suddenly felt.
“It’s not my fault that you're unable to care for your husband. He's the one who looked for me.” Your heart hurts at that sentence. She didn't seem like she was lying. “If anything, this should show you that you need to do better. Maybe things will be better in your next marriage.”
“Who’s to say that you won't have such worries soon? I’m sure Gabriel would love to hear about your adventures with Miguel.” You smiled with a twitch in your eyes, watching the woman become slightly nervous.
“You can’t tell him.” “Why not?” “It'd crush him and cause a falling out with Miguel.”
A sudden sting on your hand. A shout as you looked in shock at the bright red contrast from her blond locks as the woman grasped her cheek surprised. “I've been waiting so long to do that. Two brothers, Dana? You're disgusting.” You scoffed and walked to the door.
“Oh, and if you decide to bring this to attention, it'll ruin you. No more jobs, opportunities, plenty of shame, everything. Wholeheartedly, it's what you deserve.”
Dana held her hands to her sides, curling them into a fist when you spoke. You let out a chuckle at the thought and rolled your eyes, closing the door.
“Have you happened to see Dana? She came here to help with the renewal of the contract of the company she works for." Your father asked as he worked on a miniature boat. He loved indulging in his hobbies when you visited, especially when you'd find a piece he'd spent time searching for. “We briefly greeted one another before she hastily departed.” You responded, forcing a smile as you added a piece to the ship’s side. Your father eyed you for a moment, contemplating what had disturbed you.
“How’s Miguel?” He tested the waters, and the sigh mixed with your response was enough to confirm his worst thoughts. “He’s alright.” You bit your tongue at the exposure you felt.
“It's Dana, isn't it? I’m sorry, my daughter.” You knew you were an open canvas and sighed, then held his hand. “It’ll be alright.”
Tumblr media
You arrived home and shut the door, then sighed while leaning on it from the exhaustion you felt. The house seemed even more empty than you felt before you found out. You know it has been like this for a long time. You aren’t clinging to delusion anymore. It’s cold. Really cold.
The pile of fresh laundry lay on its basket as you piled it in two sections. It ached to hold the shirt you buttoned up as aimless love appeared on your face one last time. You placed it in his pile as though it would burn to hold it for longer than necessary.
“He forgot…” His brown wallet peeked through the edge of the closet, prompting you to pick it up instinctively. It dropped onto the floor before you could catch it, and the back of a small piece of glossy paper slipped from its tight confines.
Wallet on your other hand, you lifted the soft paper and turned to its front. You took a quick breath.
A young, brown girl looked back at you with a wide smile on her face and a pink flower rooted in her hair. Your heart burst with adoration even before you noticed the emotion. “Who is this?” You wondered out loud and panicked when you noticed Miguel's features bold on her as well as your own.
Your phone rang, startling you out of your thoughts. The screen shines brightly with ‘Elle☆’ on it. You sadly smiled as you shook your head and accepted the call. “Hi, Elle.” You stiffly greeted, a light shade of green budding in your stomach. “Hi [Name]! How are you?” She didn't catch on.
“I could be better. Work has been really tasking.” You brushed your envy off, reprimanding yourself for feeling like that. “Instagram seemed to love the announcement.” You logged into the app (with a faux account, of course), attempting to relax over light-hearted content, and saw ‘LIVE’ on Elle’s. Your mind warned you not to look downward to the comment section the minute after her announcement, but your eyes felt as though they knew better.
I’m so happy for you!
OMG! Im already excited about how cute theyll be!
What’s making celebrities get baby fever collectively?!
Please do a baby clothes haul reveal when it’s time.
[Name] better realise she’s getting left behind.
“Was it a fucking competition?” The quickness with which the comment left the chat as more popped up didn’t help the dread that overcame you. You were left behind. That, you could deny no longer. Oh, and the possibility that your husband had a secret love child. That, you forgot.
“It’s pretty amazing! Gosh, I can't wait to see them! They'll be so cute, and I'll get to dress them up!” You wondered why she decided that you were the right person to be ecstatic at this moment.
“You're going to be a wonderful mother, Elle.” You said, smiling at her joy despite your feelings. She's always been a bit ecstatic, and she loves children, just like you.
“I hope so. How’s Miguel?”
“He’s alright.” You felt guilty for lying, but it wouldn't help to reveal him.
“That’s good! I'd love to see a little version of you two soon. They'd definitely win in the gene department. You're both adorable.”
“Thank you.” You didn't want to guarantee anything.
“Ugh.” You groaned into the sheets of your bed, exhausted from the call. You fell deeper into despair at the tangy scent that filled you.
Tumblr media
“How was work?” You asked, averting your eyes from your plate to the man in front of you. “It was good.” He responded, looking at you, then turned his attention to the clock across the room. “It’s 2:52 AM.” “I know. I couldn’t sleep. Probably because I took a nap earlier.” You let out a strained laugh, then drank from your glass. “Must be nice. I wish I was able to lay down during the day.” He chuckled, feeling the tense undertone, as did you.
“How’s your project going?” You asked, breathing out at his sigh afterwards. “Not much progress. I tried a new chemical, hoping that it would form an imbalance with the Rapture, but it broke down after seven minutes at most. I’ll think of something else later.” He seemed distraught, doubting his words.
You didn’t know whether you should wrap your arms as you normally would during such nights and whisper reassurance until he needed no more words but to wet the back of your shirt or to stay still and continue to watch him restrain for the first time in a while.
It was routine; you were used to it. “It’s alright. You’ll find a cure.” You couldn’t watch him like this. “We’ll take it a day at a time.” We’ll. He felt you pause for a moment, then turn back to rubbing his broad back. “Oh, I’m sorry.”
Should you tell him what you found? Granted, you were angry about it. How could he do that to you if it was as you dreaded? But he looked so pitiful here. You couldn't delay it. He'd notice the missing photo the next day.
“There’s something we need to talk about, Miguel.” You sighed, removing your hold on him. “You forgot your wallet in your closet, and I found it while placing your clothes in your closet.” He hitched a breath, eyes low, while you sighed to calm your nerves. “It fell, and I picked it up. I found a photo.”
“Explain, Miguel. Who is she? She looks like us.” You asked, looking at him with bated breath and handed him the photo.
He kept quiet, looking away from you for a moment as his face dropped with sorrow as he looked down at it. “Let’s sit down first. We'll both need it.” You would have complained if it weren't for how dejected he seemed.
“Alright, we’re seated.” You said, arms crossed. He sat a short distance away from you on the chair next to yours, eyes low as he pondered. He brushed his hand across his hair, causing it to dishevel enough to make your heart race. “[Name]...I’m so sorry.” He sighed, averting his eyes from your own in the brief moment they met. “It’s not what you think. I would never have a child outside our marriage.” “I wouldn’t think so either if it weren’t for how wrong I’ve been proven to be as of late.” He cringed at the bitterness while you glared. “I haven’t.”
“I’ve kept track of the Spiders’ lives ever since I was able to. I’ve made sure that nothing goes wrong in their events.” You caught onto the hiss, confused, but decided to let him continue. “When I was observing a universe belonging to another version of me, he tried to stop a robbery that resulted in him…” Your eyes widened, uneasy at the thought of any version of Miguel passing, but more so anticipating what else he had to say. “He had a wonderful daughter named Gabriella, the girl in the photo. He was a single dad, [Name].”
“What happened to her mother, Miguel? What happened to me?” You stumbled with your words, a horrifying realisation in your wake that you desperately wished not to be there. “She died shortly after the birth, [Name]. That’s what happens most of the time. It’s a canon event.” Miguel wiped a stray tear as he gazed at the tiny photo on his large palm.
You stood hastily, panic quickly overcoming you with your eyes glossed. Your face met his chest, and you freely sobbed. “Let go of me, Miguel.” You wailed, hitting his chest with your fist. “I can’t be here right now.” “It’s alright, Mi Amor. It's alright.” He attempted to calm your nerves, rubbing his hand up and down your back. “I haven't finished explaining.” “There’s more?” You asked, groaning at the headache that grew.
“I decided…to take over the role of her father.” He couldn't look at you as you sat down while taking deep breaths. “I just thought that I'd be able to raise her and maybe, eventually, bring her here. I thought I was doing what was right. That it meant that you wouldn't-”
“I messed with the event. It cost that universe; I destroyed it. Gabriella disappeared in my arms.” You could feel the agony in his tone as he spoke those words.
“She looked just like us. It must have been a wonderful experience.” You tearfully chuckled, shaking your head.
“When did all this happen?”
“Two months ago.”
You sank into your chair in sobs. Miguel knelt to hold you in his arms. You lacked the will to fight.
You felt the back of your shirt drench.

You’ll Do Great.
Husband!Nanami Kento/Wife!Reader, Reader's pregnant, a bit suggestive. Fluff & Angst.
It's sobbing season!!! 。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Finally. I have you all to myself.” Nanami murmured in [Y/N]'s ear as he carried her bridal style into the master bedroom of the villa he rented out just for their honeymoon.
“Yes, you do. I'm all yours.” [Y/N] teased him, once brought down, then gasped in delight when Nanami peppered their neck with soft kisses as his hands moved downwards to clutch onto her waist covered by her wedding gown.
The gemstone on her wedding ring gleamed brightly as her hands rested on his shoulders. Their lips intertwined in absolute need as his hand moved upwards to unzip her gown. They fell onto the bed and Nanami straightened himself and took a sharp breath as he beheld the sight before him.
[Y/N], sprawled out on his bed, her wedding gown spread on the white, rose-covered, blanket, her straps laid on the sides of her shoulders which exposed the curve of her breasts and most of all, the gaze of absolute admiration on her face as she smiled at him.
“You're so handsome, Nanami. I can't believe you're mine.” [Y/N] admired as her ring hand reached upwards and caressed his face as tears formed in her eyes. “I'm so happy right now, my love”.
“I love you so much, [Y/N]. You don't know how happy you've made me by allowing me to marry you. Thank you.” Nanami thanked and a stray tear from his eye was wiped by [Y/N] as hers dripped below her.
Their lips met once more and heat filled the room as desire overcame them.
Tumblr media
“Thank you, my love. Thank you so much.” Nanami uttered thanks as he kissed [Y/N] all, tears pouring out of his eyes in joy as he caressed [Y/N]'s tummy, excitement brewing in his heart at the thought of the child that was forming in her at the current moment.
[Y/N] cried happily, her head on his chest as she placed her hand atop his, happy that he would cherish their child as much as she would.
Tumblr media
“What about your duties as a jujutsu sorcerer, Nanami? What will happen if we find out I'm pregnant?” [Y/N] whispered in his ear, worried as she looked at the floor in the hospital room as the doctor awaited the results in the lab.
“It'll be alright, my love. I'll handle it. I always do, hun.” Nanami assured then kissed her palm. “I'll be the greatest dad to our child if the results come back positive. I promise you.”
“You better be”. [Y/N] joked and grinned as Nanami bent down to kiss them.”
“I will be. Just like their amazing mother who will be the greatest mum in the world.”
Tumblr media
[Y/N] closed her eyes and took in the atmosphere of Kuantan's beach as water washed over her feet as she stood at the shore. Looking to the side, she could swear that she saw a silhouette with short blond hair flowing in the wind at the distance in the sea but it was just a figment of her imagination. Figment.
Her eyes held the gaze of mourning as she held her stomach, now large with kins.
“Gosh, 'Nami would have loved to hold them in his arms.”
Tumblr media
“I wish I could have gotten more moments to cherish you, my love”. The voice recording continued. [Y/N] heard the pain in his voice as he tried to hold a groan. He paused for a moment to hold another one then continued.
“You were right, as always. I should have tried to read the pile of books I previously bought but never bothered to before buying another one. Maybe you'll read them for me.”
“We should have gone on that trip to Malaysia. We could have searched for a home right next to the beach and laid down on the wet sand as we thought about how our children would grow up there”.
“You looked so beautiful in your wedding dress. Thank you so much for letting me marry you. It was the happiest day of my life. The birth of our children would have been too.”
“I'm sorry that I can't be there for you and our children. I was so happy when I saw them on the ultrasound, they were so precious. I wish I was able to watch them throughout all the moments of their lives. I wish I could hold my two girls and my boy. Please cherish them for me.”
“You'll be a great mother to them. You'll do great.”
“[Y/N], I love you so much. I love you and our children so, so much”.
“Stay strong for me, for our children, [Y/N]. I love you”.
Nanami sent the message, hoping the signal would come back before his phone eventually got ruined and placed it somewhere he doubted it would be broken quickly.
With every step he took, awareness of the life he was about to leave dawned on him.
He could only hope that [Y/N] and his children would forgive him.
“[Y/N]'s a strong woman. She’ll be alright.”
Tumblr media
[Y/N] sobbed and awkwardly sat on the wet sand. “N-Nana-mi!” Her voice broke as she bawled for her late husband.
“H-ow will I do a-ll of this wit-hout you?!”
Nanami made sure that everything would go to her before his passing on and left a note, informing her of the file on his laptop that had his suggestions for what was to be their home.
Due to the situation in Shibuya, [Y/N] left for Malaysia and headed for the home she picked. She picked what seemed to be Nanami's favourite out of the list.
Further into the PDF, [Y/N] found a number for a nanny if she ever needed one. Yasmine Otokpul.
“Mrs. Kento, are you alright?!” Yasmine yelled as she rushed to [Y/N] and knelt beside her. She rubbed up and down [Y/N]'s back whilst she checked for any signs of bleeding or injury and sighed in relief when she found none. “I miss him, Yasmine! I really miss him!” [Y/N] sobbed and set her head on Yasmin's chest.
“It will be alright, [Y/N]. Nanami would have wanted you to be strong for him. He loved you so much. If he were here, he'd be so proud of you for how well you're handling yourself for your family. You have to remain calm, you're getting closer to the birth.”
“T-Thank yo-u, Yas-mine.”
They remained quiet, save for [Y/N]'s sobs and sniffles as they watched the sunset intertwine with the sea then headed home. [Y/N], once more, could swear that she saw her late husband, wearing his classic blue shirt and white khaki pants in the waves, smiling at her as droplets of water sprinkled around him. She blinked and he was gone.
[Y/N] looked away and continued to move as she caressed her stomach.
“Your father would have loved you guys so much. I'm going to make sure I raise every single one of you well.”

“Meine liebe (my love), there’s no need to do all of this. We can just spend the day rewatching the series you love.” Kong tried to convince you but failed miserably as you pulled out your cookbook and placed it on the table, [f/c] apron tied around your body and your face beaming. A red, silk bookmark stood out underneath the pages before it and a grin shone on your face as you opened it.
“I am not going to hear you out, Kö. You just got back and I have to treat you. Please, it'll make me really happy. Please?”
The large man sighed at the sight of your pleading, shoulders lowering in defeat and with a nod, a smile appeared on your face and you rushed to hug him. “Thank you! It's going to taste so good!” König rolled his eyes, a warm smile on his face as your frame tightly held onto him before you let go.
“I'm so glad I managed to snag a remaining copy of the book. The Pinterest mom who created it said that if I didn't contact her at the time I did I would have probably found them sold out! She’s such a sweet lady. I hope I'll be like her when I’m older. Five whole children and she’s still so active.”
“Gosh, she’s lucky to have all the energy to handle all the stuff that she has to do. Her husband seems sweet too. He was playing with the kids at the park as she was explaining the contents of the book to me. They were so adorable together.”
I truly hope that you and I will be like that too. Probably because of how wonderful of a boyfriend you are. No doubt that our future will look like that”.
König paused as he brought out the egg carton from the fridge. You imagined him being with you for so long? König sometimes wondered how he ended up with someone as amazing as yourself. “Was there no one else who you’d rather commit a relationship to?” “Was he worthy of you?”
Truly, he didn't know. You were, in his eyes, way too graceful for him. Kind, loving and sweet as sugar towards people whom you showed care for. You treated him so well that he sometimes couldn't grasp that he was around you. Around your light. Your presence. Your amazing self.
The whisk rotated firmly as he moved it, not wanting you to injure your soft hands and form callouses and blisters which he had grown accustomed to. König could tell that you were keen on watching his arms as he worked and made sure to flex his muscles as long as you were on sight. The little lip bite you do makes it so worth it.
“Don't try to tempt me, Kö. Gosh, the sugar in the mixture smells divine”. His lips kissed your cheek after his hand grazed your bum as he placed the flour in the cupboard.
You brought out the strawberries and blueberries, basking in their blooming red and blue-purple colour with a grin on your face as they sat on the basket you placed them in after washing them. A smack to your hand made you roll your eyes as you attempted to taste a juicy strawberry once more then a blueberry after you had a couple of them. König took the strawberry from your hand and sliced it. “Dummes mädchen (silly girl), why did you choose to stuff four strawberries and a couple of berries in your mouth?”
“You keep pushing my hand away from the basket. What else am I supposed to do?” You responded, wiping the icing you placed on top of the berries from your lips.
König chuckled and walked up to them. “You've got a little bit left at the corner of your lips. Lassen sie mich Ihnen helfen. (Let me help you.)”
König’s thick thumb trailed over the curve of your lip, making your cheeks grow hot. They grew hotter as you watched him lick the icing off of it, a teasing smile growing on his face at your dismay.
You looked away, desire pooling in you and started wide-eyed when his hand gently moved your face right back to his sight. “I was on the mission for a while. Pardon my boldness, but I just can't wait to feel you right after we’re done.”
“I understand the feeling so much. I can't wait either. I hope I'll be able to walk tomorrow. Knowing you, I doubt it.” You giggled and gently kissed his cheek then moved to place the batter in baking pans.
“Meine Güte, du hast mein Verlangen nach dir noch verstärkt.” (“My goodness, you've made me crave you even more.”)
Tumblr media
“It's so good!” You grinned as you chewed on the sweet taste of the cake as you both sat on the couch, cuddling as a show you loved played on the TV.
“Yes, it is.” König nodded then popped a blueberry into his mouth and smiled at you.
You caught his gaze and smiled back. “You've got a little icing...here.” You said and flicked the icing off of his soft lips with your thumb and licked it off of your finger. You caught the desire pooling in his eyes and lifted your head to kiss him. Lowering his head, your lips met his. The fruity taste of the cake resided in your mouths and you savoured one another.
“Hmm! Kö, let’s- oh! eat first.” You told him as your hands caressed his face. His hands moved lower onto your sides and tightly held onto them as he placed you on his lap.
“Lass mich jetzt ein kleine stück von dir essen. Dann esse ich gleich noch mehr kuchen.” ("Let me eat a little piece of you now. Then I'll eat some more cake.")

Tumblr media
“Turn a little to the left...that's it.” The photographer in front of you guided you as you twisted your body into the bizarre position he had you in while wearing a puffy dress.
Tumblr media
“Kidcore and vintage.” You concluded to your husband, phone in hand, at the email you received from Marrie, the designer of the dress you were to wear the next day. “The dress looks puffy, kind of like those of the ‘grandma’ type of dolls with a colourful, childish mix.” You observed then handed him the phone to take a look. “It does look like that”. Satoru said, zooming the photo to look at the details. “It's a pretty unique design. Definitely reflects her energy. She's so bubbly.” His white locks falling apart on the curve of your breasts as he cuddled you more.
“Yes, she's the cutest. Vintage doll dresses are so adorable.” You smiled as you caressed his hair and looked over a couple more details.
You married one another while young. Satoru’s family wanted an heir early, and your family wanted to be closer to the Gojo heirline. It was arranged, yes, but it was surprising that you fell for one another despite the circumstances.
Tumblr media
“I told you, I'm fine.” Raindrops dripped onto the sidewalk as you stood under the bus stop’s shelter. Satoru, having a couple of errands on his mind, forgot to inform Kiyotaka to pick you up. “Get inside the car. It’s freezing”. Gojo responded, and the car opened itself. Of course, he was going to show off.
“You didn't have to come. I could have gotten an Uber.” You said, once on the passenger seat, and fastened your seatbelt. “And risk you getting hurt? What good fiancé would I be if I didn't pick you up?”
“I can handle myself, Satoru. No need to force yourself.” You responded, rolling your eyes as you watched the road. The rain would have been terrible to handle alone, you observed, but your pride couldn't lower itself to thank him.
“I'm not. I couldn’t let you handle the rain alone.” Satoru responded and removed his blindfold to look at you. Starlight gazed into your own, and you forced yourself to look away before it seemed as though you were staring too much.
“Hmph.” You drew your attention to the raindrops glistening the window. “Thank you.” You said after a moment and rolled your eyes at Gojo’s smirk.
“Aww, you're warming up to me.”
“Fuck off.” You bit a grin, embarrassed.
Tumblr media
“Nononono...!” You cried as you ran from the curse that paced at you, and nearly fell as you climbed the stairs of your agent’s villa.
Blood from the family that was consumed by the horrid curse that gave chase stained your clothes. Shouts threatened to tear from your lips but you shakily kept them in.
“It’s getting closer!” You panicked and rushed into a corner.
“No!” You thought. Fear was overcoming you as you desperately grasped the concrete. You heard a chuckle from behind you and turned to gasp at the raw sight.
Nagasaki, your agent’s face was at the side of the mushy form that walked towards you with twig-like legs and eyes that struggled to be seen through the flaps of fat that protruded underneath the curse’s purple skin.
“Nonnie.” You tearfully whispered when you saw her small brown arm potrude out of the side of the creature's head and flap aimlessly. A yell fell from your lips at the bite the creature made at its small build with suddenly formed teeth that were stained red, and spat it out in front of you.
“Shit! Why did Nagasaki have to confess his feelings for me? Why did he do it in front of his wife?” You cried at the blood-stained and slick arm in front of you, recalling the time you spent with the young darling.
The curse was a manifestation of the hazardous atmosphere in the home. The toxicity grew bigger and intensified by rage at the final moment, the curse was birthed.
“Y-ou...ack!” Nagasaki’s wife's head choked at the blood she vomited, the mix of her fluids spilling through the large tear across the left side of her mouth. Half of her body stuck out at the top of the curse, fury flowing through her eyes at the sight of you. The curse let out a shout on her side, but she ignored it.
“Aaaa-ack!” The curse that was rushing towards you let out a low noise before plopping to the floor, a wet noise following it as its guts poured from its split body. Blood and slick, similar to a slightly mixed egg yolk with its egg white, spread across the floor.
“[Name], I’m so sorry. I should have come sooner. I’m here. It's alright, [Name]. You can open your eyes now.” You didn't realise you had closed them. You heard someone shift towards you and drew deeper into the wall in instinct, arm over your eyes in the slight defence you could afford. The movement stopped.
Quiet fell over the atmosphere as you took in deep breaths to calm down your heart, which beat ferociously and was heard all over your body. “[Name]? Satoru called out once more, brows furrowed at the pitiful form you were stuck in.
“Satoru? Is that you?” You stammered a bit, hoping that you weren't being delusional in your last moments. “Yes, [Name]. It's me.” Tears engulfed your eyes as you slumped to the floor in exhaustion and relief.
“I thought I was going to...No!” You wailed and desperately clung on to the man when he dropped to your level. “Why is it that all I’m good at is healing?! If it weren't for you...oh my gosh!”
“Hey. Hey. Hey, [Name]. Don't speak about yourself like that. You help so many people with your ability. You help me.”
“No, I don't! I wish I could have done something—anything! Nonnie!” You bawled as you looked at her unevenly cut organ, holding back vomit as the revelation of the child’s death overcame you. Satoru’s gaze moved to the arm and he let out a deep breath, his eyes low as the familiar sight saddened him.
Sobs engulfed the building, and unspoken solace was shared between you two as realisations were made about just how you both related to one another. You were both exposed to unfathomable sights.
Tumblr media
“Time for a break.” Milo, your photographer said as he looked over the shots made. “Yes!” You grinned and walked up to him to view them as well. A hand intertwined with your waist, and you rolled your eyes, a smile on your face as you turned to your husband.
“Who’s this gorgeous woman I’m looking at right now? Gosh, she is so adorable.” Satoru grinned as he looked at the shots your photographer showed him as he looked for the perfect one. “It’s none other than your beautiful wife, Mr. Gojo.”
“Obviously, it's her. There's no one else as stunning as her.” He smirked, slightly wiggling his eyebrows at you, who turned to the other side in laughter and slight embarrassment. “Gosh, I can't take you out of the house, can I?” You giggled.
“Not unless you're staying home. I'd gladly spend the whole day with my Beloved.” He smirked with a familiar glint in his eyes. “Yes, I definitely can't take you out of the house.” You responded, flustered.
“Ugh, if you two lovebirds are going to flirt right in front of me, you might as well head over to the janitor’s room. Damn teenagers.” Milo shook his head as he rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.
“Don’t worry about us, Milo. Focus on how you're going to impress Sarah during your date tomorrow.” You grinned as you watched a blush appear on his pale cheeks. “The missus is doing alright. Gonna be the first date in a while since the last one, which was a year ago. Gosh, children really take up a lot of your time. We wouldn't trade our little ones for anything, though.”
“Definately. We hope to get a bunch of cute, tiny versions of us in the near future too. I just know that they're all going to inherit their mother's snark and our good looks.” Gojo said, a smile on his face as he fantasised about the picket fence life he had every intention to share with you.
“Hmph. For all I know, they're all going to inherit your mischief. A bunch of little Satoru’s are bound to bring chaos just like their father.” You responded, gently laying a hand on your tummy. You couldn't wait to tell him the news on Valentine's Day tomorrow.
A bunch of mini-you’s and Satoru’s were bound to be an adventure.

My Melo Pink!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pink Enthusiast GF! Reader/BF! Satoru Gojo<3!!! (Obviously self-indulgent! I'm OBSESSED with PINK and the PINTEREST GF/NERDY/CUTE/WILLING TO SPOIL BF trope! ALSO WITH THE BIMBO GF/NERDY/GOTH BF TROPE!<3<3<3!!!)
(Before their era together!)
I’m going to write about their era soon! I just HAD to get this off of my mind! ♡(> ਊ <)♡)
SHE IS THE IT GIRL/STARGIRL, THE WOMAN OF HER DAMN DREAMS AND HE'S THE SMART, SWEET, CHARISMATIC AND PASSIONATE MAN!
They adore each other’s quirks and their relationship is super cute!
I want to write about DILF! GOJO with this trope too <3<3<3!!! Ugh, imagine that! ♡(> ਊ <)♡And Geto- YESSSSS!!!
First post of 2024 <3!
Peace and Blessings to you, My Love <3!!!
Tumblr media
First things first, when Gojo met you, he had to admit, he found you cute and silly. Not in the romantic sense, though. Teenage you was a passionate pink lover. Despite the monotonous colour scheme of your uniform, you never failed to add a touch of cuteness.
Why did you just have to add a touch of cuteness to even your weapon?! He just loved the adorableness of it!
Whether it would be through the Hello Kitty bracelet you decided to wear that day or the Miffy the Rabbit keychain you kept in your bag & the cute accessories you decorated your bag with, you always made sure that you were cute.
• “Pink pens, pink poach, pink pencils, pink sellotape, pink eraser and a pink ruler? Damn, you’re OBSESSED!” Gojo exclaimed as he looked through your bag to know more about you for the textbook you borrowed. “Are you getting your damn book or snooping through my stuff? Return them back into the pouch.” You scolded, throwing him a side eye as you re-did your lipgloss. “A fucking pink iPad set.” “...let me get your damn book myself.”
• “Aww, Gojo. That's for me? You questioned him when he pulled out the My Melody plushy from the Sanrio Store bag he carried and gave it to you. “Of course. You like the brand and we did a pretty good mission today, so why not treat you?” He answered, smiling brightly as he took in the smile that adorned your features. “Thank you so much! I love it!” You responded and hugged him tightly. “What do you want me to get you?” You asked as you looked at the menu in front of you. Gojo recommended this cafe to you but you never got an opportunity to visit it until the current moment. “Nothing. You know I love treating you.” He responded, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “I know, but I want to treat you too. You spoil me so damn much whenever you visit”. You said, looking through the menu for something he seemed like he would love. “That’s because I love y- treating you so damn much!” Gojo quickly changed his wording, a pitch in his sentence, a bit shocked. You caught onto it and side-eyed him. “Hmm? What was that?” You smirked, placing your hand atop his, watching with amusement as a blush adorned his face as he looked back and forth between your eyes and your hand. His blue orbs always looked wonderful and you couldn't help but get lost in the spiking gaze they always seemed to have on you. You always felt as though they had the ability to see the innermost and outermost parts of you as they took in every single detail of yours.
You fell for the young man as well, always hoping that you could feel him for even longer than was to occur. Your time with him was limited, obviously as you both had different responsibilities and had to get back to them right after missions. You couldn't confess your feelings for him and you knew he couldn't embrace you further that he already did. You were both sorcerers. Any romantic feelings or persuasions between the both of you was delusional as you knew the thin thread of life that hung you both over the abyss of death.
“You’re adorable, Gojo.” You sighed with a somber smile on your face and took your hand off of his and looked back at the menu. A slight look of sadness appeared in his eyes as though he knew why you didn't go further and sighed as he idly held a packet of sugar. “Something with chocolate”. He beamed after a moment, knowing that you would not stop berating him until he let you treat him. “Thank you.” You thanked and smiled at him for a moment before going back to looking at the menu, the smile not leaving your complexion.
• You walked into Jujutsu High, wearing a pink suit dress that went below the knee, diamond earrings that had a pink tint, pearl necklace, pink purse & pink heels.
You were not an eyesore, that's for sure. You looked great! The outfit coordinated and the glow your body radiated in the environment could blind people!
You were both adults now but it's clear that there were just some parts of you that would never change.
“New teacher?” He asks Nanami, chuckling as he watches you walk into Principle’s office with a skip in your step. “She’s getting the job, that's for sure.” Gojo smiled, visibly excited to welcome you to their institution. “How are you so sure of that?” Nanami questioned, rolling his eyes at Gojo’s happiness as he imagined what mischief he could be cooking up there for you.
“Trust me. With the grace she has, there’s no one better”.
• “You've got a really nice look on you now.” Gojo complimented, his eyes wondering up and down on your form with a smirk on his features. “I know right? More mature but with the same touch I’ve always had”. You responded, an equal smirk on your features as you took in the charmer before you. Gosh, he was still so dashing. “You haven't lost even a bit of the cuteness you've always had, Gojo.” You responded, smirking as a slight blush appeared on his face but the smirk he adorned never left it. “Trying to charm me, aren’t you?” “You started it. Guess, I'm just playing the game better than you?” “Better than me? I'm the greatest! I'll just have to show you how much of a damn great charmer I am.”

Holiday Trinkets.
Tumblr media
Jayce, Viktor & GN! Reader!
It’s Christmas. Time for the holiday fun and silly moments to carry into the next year.
It’s even better when Jayce and Viktor take a needed break…which they desperately need.
You love to see your men work hard to achieve their goals, but they need to rest and enjoy the holiday!
(Inspired by my bestie, @marsonthemoon000! <333)
Platonic, but I'm not stopping your interpretations.
It's a bit OCC to me, but I think this is how they would have casual conversations. Not everything's serious.
It's short, but I love Christmas specials too much not to cook one! <3
Merry Christmas, Lovelies! <3
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU, MY LOVE! <3
Tumblr media
Viktor loudly sighed, exasperated, and rolled his chair back to the chalkboard with a furrow of his brown brows. A line of exhaustion made its path on his forehead, adding onto his annoyed expression. Yet again, his attempted solution did not work.
The blue glow of the hex ball on top of a paper whose companions were scattered across the table seemed to mock his efforts, flickering on the white canvas it resided in.
“Maybe if I were to convert—” “Oh, I didn't think you'd manage to convince him. Jayce, the constant charmer.” Jayce’s deep chuckle brought Viktor out of his swarming thoughts. His face softened at the sight of the both of you, who shared a laugh as you neared him. “Hi Viktor.” You giggled and dug your fingertips into the cushion of the top rail of his chair.
“How are you?” Jayce continued and placed his hand on his shoulder. His eyes moved to the calculation in front, and he sighed in understanding. “We’ll solve it. Together.” Jayce spoke, his tone a near whisper. He hated the exhaustion visible on his companion, sadness floating above when Viktor rubbed his eyes.
“You’ll both figure it out. You're the smartest people I know.” You joined in reassuring Viktor, moving from your position to kneel in front of him. “How about we take a break? The last time I saw you out of this lab was three days ago.” You smiled sadly at the gaze he drew upon his work for a moment in contemplation. “I shouldn't. I’m close to a breakthrough.” Viktor responded, propped his walking stick to stand, and turned to the board.
“You should rest. I can take over some of the calculation if that's your concern.” Jayce offered, slightly smiling with raised brows. “If he needs any tools, I'll be there to provide them. I've learnt a name or two while watching the both of you.” You joined in and stood next to Jayce. His eyes looked to your own in appreciation for a moment before turning back to Viktor.
“Please? We'll be good.” Jayce teased, brushing elbows with you. A soft smile appeared on Viktor's face, and he shook his head. “I may be exhausted. I'll take you both up on the offer. If anything is needed, inform me.” “We’re hoping not to.” You teased, chuckling at Viktor’s amusement.
“I’ll see the both of you soon.” Viktor left the lab, a slight smile on his face.
“Should I arrange some of the tools? I don't want to mess anything up.” You asked, walking over to the messy desk. “Hmm…we should leave those things there. Viktor might have had an idea for them.” Jayce responded, picking up Viktor’s notebook to look through his research so far.
“What about this cup?” You picked it up, fingertips instantly becoming chilly under the ceramic due to the cold season. “Yeah, that needs to go. Thank you.”
Jayce picked up the hex ball, analysing it for a moment. The magic pulsed inside its glass prison, pulling him into the unknowns of it. His curiosity was ever piqued whenever he saw it. He has to know more; he just has to.
“Let’s start.”
Tumblr media
“People are excited now that they've hit the 20s. They're leaving the city by the masses to visit their relatives.” You said, lifting your cup of hot chocolate to your lips. The creamy blend filled you with joy as a stray marshmallow piece swam to your tongue.
“[Name], are you visiting your family soon?” Viktor asked, his own cup in his hands as he sat on the couch next to Jayce.
You were both occupied in Jayce’s room, a break finally seeming appropriate as the men discovered more about Hextech. The holiday energy may have captured them a bit…
“No, actually. There's a lot I have to plan for the city’s next year. I've informed my family about it.” You responded and twiddled your hands as the deadline you set for the paperwork blared like an alarm in your brain for a moment. “Guess we're in the same position, [Name].” Jayce licked his lips as he set his cup down and smiled slightly.
“I hope we can do something together on the 25th. I saw a poster of a band’s show in town, and Mel Medarda’s hosting a dinner party.” “Nice,” You emphasised the ‘e.’ “I knew you knew how to find the tiny spots in the city.” You teased and watched as he sputtered out a response about the poster, to which you rolled your eyes.
“I bet he could tell us about an underrated restaurant right this minute, right, Viktor?” You turned to him, smiling. He understood the comedic scene you took upon yourself to bring to simmer the effects his lack of a response brought to him. Your knowing glance brought a slight shiver to his bones. Damn your observation skill, but he couldn't help but love it.
“You should have been there to hear him randomly talk about the restaurant where he swears had the best beer in town. I don't often find him drunk, but he knows much about the differences.” Viktor joined in, chuckling when Jayce motioned between the both of you in protest.
“At least you both know I'm the best person to ask for recommendations.” Jayce joined in on the laughs, his ‘fangs’ being exposed. You looked at them for a moment, something stirring in you, and Viktor gave you a knowing glance under hooded eyes. The feeling increased. You grinned; it was enough of a response.
“Okay, okay. Make sure to spoil us with your recommendations on the 25th. Let’s check out the Christmas tree in the middle of town too. I'm sure it's better than last year.”

This work is a part of the [✮𖦹] PINK BOMB! series!
Can anyone tell that I've been going through a writing block? This was in the writing process on August! ( ´△`)
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU, MY LOVE! <3
Tumblr media
THE cold wind hit you, relieving your body as you walked underneath the scorching sun. Your eyes shut for a moment, causing a chuckle sideways from you. You turned to find plum eyes gazing into your own, gleaming at yours, looking into them.
“What’s so funny, Suguru?” You asked, fanning yourself, and tilted your sunhat to look at him. “This sun’s terrible right now, isn't it?” He asked, tucking his hands into his blue hibiscus-printed shorts. He wore a light matching shirt with a vest and white sports shoes.
“Yeah, it is. Although I can’t help but be grateful that it lets me see you like this.” You flirt with a chuckle, walking further to hide your fluster. Geto brightened red, smiling as he watched your white sundress with small pink flowers flow in the wind. “Geto, don’t keep me waiting! I’ve got goods to buy!”
You held the shimmering top of the gloss as you scanned through it, deciding if it was a worthy purchase or not. The object shone underneath the light, alluring you to it as its inner glow brightened underneath your warm fingertips. “Hmm…you win.” You whispered cheerfully and placed it in the pink basket you held.
“Doll, you’re trying something new. I’m proud of you.” Geto teased, and you rolled your eyes. “This lip gloss just came out. It’s even cuter in person compared to the YouTube ads!” You gushed, slightly shaking the basket as you giggled against the warm body of your lover. He wrapped his arm around you, steadying you in front of him.
“I love seeing you like this. You’re so cheerful.” Geto says, smiling softly as he explores your face with sight as though searching. “You make me like this. I love being around you, Suguru.” You responded, admiring the way the pink fluorescent lights tainted his warm cheek as you held it.
“Come on, Doll. There's a doll I know you'd like nearby.”
౨ৎ
Geto seemed different ever since Riko. He seemed low, his gaze staring into the distance as though lost. Whenever you caught his gaze on you, you couldn't decipher what he was thinking.
He'd shrug off whatever questions you posed towards his new behaviour with a mere ‘I’m alright' or ‘It’s fine’. His laughs seemed robotic now, as though pre-planned and short, lacking his authenticity.
His arm in the night wrapped around your waist, his hold tighter than you remember. His eyes were shut, although you knew at the slightest shuffling they'd wake up alerted and searching.
“Bye, Suguru. Please arrive back safe.” You embraced him tightly at the train station that day. Alarms blared in your head that day, and an onslaught of nerves occupied you throughout. Something was oncoming.
౨ৎ
“What?” Your eyes shut tight at the light that hit your eyes through the thin crack of the window of the room. You looked around, noticing how different everything looked, and shot out of the bed, alert.
You tried activating your technique only for flashes of pain to run down your body. Your eyes shut tight as a painful groan emitted from your lips.
Your eyes then moved towards the cursed silver chains occupying your hands, preventing you from moving to the white door in the corner. Looking around, you found remnants of you around it.
The walls were painted white, pink bows, and stars added to the wall in the area, highlighting the achievements and photos you kept in your home. A net was placed in a hammock position on the wall, plushies of yours comfy among each other.
The shelves weren't any different, as the vintage design blended in with your dolls. You swore that some of the designs only resided on your Amazon wishlist, but there they were.
Click. Your heartbeat thumped fast, and your head snapped to the door. You recognised his studs and silky hair the moment he walked in.
“[Name], you're finally awake.” Geto smiled, walking up to you, unbothered by your situation.
“What am I doing here?” You asked, puzzled at his normality. Your eyes crinkled into a glare when you realised that he must have had something to do with it.
“This is your new home, [Name]. With me.” Suguru remained undisturbed, moving near your dishevelled form.
“Ack!” You yelled under the torment of the chains as you pushed forward to him, your curse broken when activated. “You don't need to be frightened, [Name]. You're safe with me.”
His gaze offered no comfort. A shadow of his former self flickered as he gazed at you, but you could tell that your lover was no more.
“Why?” You asked, tears at the edge of your eyes as you knew that you were cornered. No more would you see your loved ones, embrace the outside, or the simple moments provided in your previous life.
“My values don't align with those of the Jujutsu world anymore. Why should we have to defend such ungrateful things? We face the turmoil for filth, which will never appreciate it. For mere monkeys? We deserve much better, [Name]. Geto sighed at your compliance with the system, your tears aching him.
He kneeled down to your level, and you felt the chains reel back your hands as his hand drew to your face. “Oh, don't cry. This is for your own good. You’ll see, my doll.” Drops of your tears pour onto his soft, pale fingers as he caresses you, his touch cold and calculated. He loved you no more but was obsessed.
౨ৎ
The time went by slowly; little by little, your sanity seeped into nothingness. After a frantic stab on Geto’s hip with a broken piece of a white vase you knocked to the ground after you toppled away from him, he snapped.
The trickle of blood staining his gold kāṣāya and blending with the black of the yukata was all but what you could pay attention to as his hands roughly held your lips open as you remained still, helpless against the bounds that held you. You had no reminder of the vile taste of the murky, grey curse as it was forcefully shoved into your throat, demanding it be consumed.
“You've left me with no choice. You shouldn't have been so stubborn.” The ball struggled not to clog up in your throat as Suguru’s thick fingers shoved it in. You swallowed it in a desperate attempt for relief; it lasted a second before you despaired as your vision blurred. You toppled over, feeling the cold white tile on your cheek as the room darkened.
Guilt flashed for a moment in Geto’s conscience while he watched your withering form, face crinkled in pain as the filth began to consume you. He lifted your body into his arms and walked to your bed. He felt the remnants of the curse in you and swore to himself, wishing that there was a better way to get you to comply with his will.
౨ৎ
“Who are you?” Your voice whispered in the dark of night as you sipped on a cup of tea, looking at the dark-haired man across you. Your head felt empty, remnants of something lingering but blocked. You couldn’t identify why you felt so—just that it was there. “I’m your lover. I’ll help you regain your memories, doll.” Your heart buzzed at his voice when he said, ‘Doll.’ It filled you with warmth yet dread lingered in the air.
౨ৎ
Geto, after a while, even if he was reluctant to let you out, he led you to the garden of his small escape, where you met Mimiko and Nanaba, the twins. You shuffled in the grass as you observed them beside Suguru. Nanaba seemed shy when you sat down next to them, while Mimiko was excited to finally meet you. “You seem nice.” Nanaba whispered, admiring your embroidered attire. “Suguru has told us much about you.” Mimiko held in her joy, aware of your sensitive state as Geto informed them both of it beforehand. “I hope we’ll be good friends.” You said, pleased at their smiles.
You looked at Suguru, laying your head on his shoulders as you held his hand, seeing what made him so proud of the girls while they played underneath the hot summer sun. “It's great that you took them in.” You smiled at the sight of them as they chased each other.
“They're amazing, aren't they? I love them.” He whispered in your ear with wistful eyes on them. You shivered slightly at the warmth of his breath and hoped he didn't notice it. He shot a sly smile, having seen, and tightened his hold on your waist. “Surely you aren't so easy to fluster? It was a bad idea to show me that; it'll be too tempting not to take advantage of it.”
౨ৎ
“Ugh.” Geto's injuries flared all over his body while his brain kept sending constant warnings for him to do something, anything. A cacophony of miseries as he grasped his final moments, looking up at the striking blue eyes and white hair of the man who struggled to break down in front of him despite his demeanour.
“This must thrill you, Satoru.” He teased with the smirk he could barely afford as his head began to spin, the process of being unable to distinguish anything beginning.
“I knew how you looked at her. Her smiles, her laughter, her grace—you wished you were the one close enough to experience them all, weren’t you? How desperate you were to touch her. Satoru, you’re not the slick bastard you think you are. I’m not surprised that you’re perverted. She has that affect on us.” Suguru chuckled at the shame that contoured Satoru’s face as his breathing heightened and his eyes widened while his face flushed red.
“I wrote notes of every single curse I had. You have to know what you’re eating.” A poor attempt at a chuckle slipped from his lips as his eyes rolled back before he forced himself to stay awake. “The memory loss one, too. It’s a favourite of mine for obvious reasons.” Suguru rolled his eyes at the guilt that clouded his mind for a slight moment. “I wrote everything I could on it. How to activate it, how to deactivate it, how to reset it... and so on and so forth.” Suguru could have let out a hearty laugh as realisation crossed Satoru, then the anger that crinkled his face if he wasn't so weak. “You think I’d do that to her?! I’m not like you!” Satoru barked at the exhausted being, who rolled his eyes and sighed. “There’s no need to compare, Satoru. I know you will.”
“By the way, be sure to buy her a Sonny Angel. She’s building a collection.”
౨ৎ
Satoru loved to think he was a man much stronger than his desires, that all the training he had done made him above all in a sense. It was true that he was the strongest of all sorcerers, that all the hits taken on him as opponents tried to reach his level brought him to this point aside from his biological advantages.
But, to him, in this moment, he was the weakest of all as he watched your pretty eyes look right back at him, your strawberry plush in your arms and favourite drink on hand as you adjusted to the large living room in his home.
“Who are you?”
Satoru hoped the blur of Suguru’s form reflecting on the floor-to-roof windows was a mere figment of his imagination. The smirk it made burned his iris alongside your lost eyes. He blinked, and it disappeared.
“I’m your lover, darling. I’ll help you regain your memories.”

Snow & Wreaths
Geto/GN!Reader, Exes, Christmas Cheer and Fluff.
From Reedsyprompts: Write about a character who visits their hometown for the holidays and reconnects with a former love interest.
A little Christmas gift, My Love!!!♡🎁🎄🌟
3.1k words.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Snow covered the small town as it fell from the sky to the ground. Flickering lights of gold, red and green shone brightly on the streets, neighbourhoods and houses of many as Christmas cheer bloomed in the air.
Geto sighed as he stepped out of the house, Mimiko and Nanaba right on his tail, smiles on their faces as they took in the cold atmosphere and the colourful environment around them.
Geto didn't intend to visit his family. He considered it too risky with the twins around him, but he wanted them to see the beauty in where he came from.
“Hmm...” Geto let out a sigh as he looked at the text on his phone.
Hey, Geto. Hope you're doing well. You’re probably in your hometown by now but if you’re interested, I’m hosting a Christmas party. You can bring the twins too! It'll be fun! We miss you.
-S.G
The phone was placed in Geto’s pocket, the message left on read, just like the others he received ever since his betrayal. The others didn't want to understand his ideologies so he didn't pursue the fantasy of being back with them. He'd likely have to face a death sentence and the twins would either be killed or indoctrinated.
Tumblr media
“Look!” Mimiko beamed. “Is that a giant gingerbread cookie?!” Nanaba finished her twin’s sentence and stood, wide-eyed at the cookie that was on display next to other cookies when they entered the bakery.
“Girls, manners. What did we say about yelling in public spaces that aren't the outdoors? Yes, it is a giant gingerbread cookie.” Geto smiled and nodded at the “Sorry.” He heard both twins whisper as they bowed their heads down in shame. A pat on both of their heads and an “It’s alright.” from Geto brought them back to life with smiles on their faces.
“They’re just wonderful, aren't they girls?” Geto heard a gentle voice say and turned to find a wonderful memory from his past kneeling on the ground and talking to his daughters the twins.
“I hear that today they are extra special because they knew that two girls would love to see them. I’m sure that they're happy to see you both.” You smiled at the wonder that shone in both of their eyes.
“How did they know that we would show up here?” “Geto must have told them. He did say that Christmas is a special time of the year?” “If he did, we would have known because he isn't too good at hiding stuff.”
“Hey, who says I'm not good at hiding stuff?” “Tell that to my birthday gift. You talked so much about Pinkie Pie and how much I love her and how you were sure that I was going to love the surprise you got me”. Mimiko said and giggled alongside her sister at the look of fake exasperation on Geto’s face. “Alright, alright. It was one time, though. I didn't tell the cookie about you guys, though.”
“That’s exactly what Christmas magic is about. Maybe Santa told them that there were two good children who deserved a treat.” You said and stood up. The girls cheered and dashed to line up.
“I just know they'll get a sugar rush with you around. It's hard enough putting them to bed.” Geto chuckled and brought out his hand for shaking. “Hi, Geto.”You said and shook the man’s hand. “Hi, [Y/N]. How are you?” Geto asked, a drop of the familiar feeling in his chest at the smile that appeared on your face.
“I’ve been well. I'm currently on break and will be running to my station in the kitchen as soon as it's over.” You said, smiling as a slight amount of heat appeared on your cheeks. Gosh, Geto got even cuter and the feels were desperate to come in.
“[Y/N], you know better than to fall for him the second you see him. Get it off your mind!”
“Geto? Is that you? I haven't seen you in a while! Gosh, you've gotten so big since the last time I saw you, and even more handsome! Isn't that right, [Y/N]?”
“Mum!” You exclaimed, embarrassment flowing blood to your cheeks as Geto laughed beside you and patted your shoulder.
“Hello, Ms. [L/N]. How are you?” Geto shook your mother’s hand. “I'm doing well, Geto. I'm just running the bakery as always. Luckily, I now have my precious child to help me out.” She winked, giggling at your face which annoyance showed through. “Seems like they're doing a pretty good job.” He praised you and watched with amusement as you thanked him. A smile appeared on both of your faces. Ms. [L/N] noticed.
“Look’s like my break’s over. Gotta get back into it. Bye, Geto. See you, Mum” You said and proceeded back into the kitchen.
“Oh, [Y/N]. I forgot to tell you. Abigail had an immediate personal matter to get to and left after you. Michael and Amaya are helping me out in the kitchen which only leaves you to handle the counter. So, save that goodbye for a moment longer.” Your mother informed you, a spark of mischief in her eyes as she looked at you. You saw it and rolled your eyes, smiling. “See you at the counter, Geto.” You said, smiling then walked away.
“Your children are adorable, Geto. How old are they?” Your mum asked, making Geto widen his eyes for a moment. They're both seven and I recently adopted them.” “You’re raising them by yourself?” “Yes, Ms. [L/N]. They're quite adorable. I just hope I'll do a great job”. Geto admitted and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Raising kids certainly isn’t easy.” Your mother said, looking at the twins as their excited giggles were heard across the store as they got closer to the counter. “But I'm very sure you're going to do an amazing job at raising them. Don't be too hard on yourself. The girls need you to have a strong mind. Just say so, and I'll provide you with assistance whenever needed.”
“Thank you, Ms. [L/N]. I really appreciate it. I hope that I can be as good of a parent as you are.” Geto praised, earning a smile from the older woman who hugged him and then let go with a rub on both sides of his arms.
“Geto! We’re next! Come here!” “Nanaba, Geto said that we shouldn't yell. Weren't you listening?” Mimiko scolded, making Nanaba turn down her head in shame.
“Nanaba, thank you for informing me but Mimiko's right. Mimiko, everyone makes mistakes but thank you for informing Nanaba on what is right.” Geto said and ruffled the twins' heads through their winter masks. Both girls giggled as they shook him off, then looked at one another.
“I'm sorry, Nanaba. I shouldn't have talked to you like that”. “I'm sorry, Mimiko. I should have listened to Geto”. Nanaba apologised and hugged Mimiko.
An “Aww.” slipped from your lips and Geto gazed lovingly at the two. “We’re next.” Nanaba said, breaking out of the hug, took Mimiko’s hand in hers and headed to the counter.
“What can I get two adorable girls I see today?” You beamed as the two girls who had their eyes taped to the assortments kept on display.
Mimiko, suddenly shy, turned to Geto. “Is it alright if we could have a giant gingerbread cookie?” She asked while Nanaba had a slight pout on her face as they awaited his response. “Sure, girls. Could we have three giant gingerbread cookies, please?” Geto turned to you. “Sure. A little birdy told me that these were on the house. Along with these Christmas cookies”. You said, letting out a laugh as your mum backed from your ear. “Ms. [L/N]. It's alright. I can pay for-”
“Geto, it's been a while since I've seen you. Consider this a welcome back”. Your mum responded, smiling when she saw Geto place his wallet back in his pocket as the girls cheered at the addition of treats.
“Thank you, Ms. [L/N]. Thank you, [Y/N].” Geto thanked, smiling as he took the packages from [Y/N]. “You’re welcome.” You both said in unison and dodged the other when they let out their hand to pinch them. “No pinches.” They once again said in unison and Geto laughed and the twins giggled as they watched the interaction.
“Thank you, Ms. [L/N] and [Y/N].” Minako thanked. “Yeah, thank you.” Nanaba poked at the cookies while Mimiko slightly tugged at his shirt. “They can’t wait to try out the cookies. They'll love them as much as I do.” Geto said as he removed two giant gingerbread cookies and gave one to each of them.
“Thank you, Geto”. They said in unison and an “Ow!” was exclaimed by Minako when Nanaba pinched them. “You didn't say ‘No pinches’. ” Nanaba giggled as she ate her cookie and savoured the flavoursome taste of ginger and sugar from both the icing and the cookie.
“These cookies are amazing.” Minako spoke for both of them with a wide grin on her face then continued chewing while Nanaba nodded while she ate. “Santa’a gotta treat us more often”. Nanaba said once she finished chewing.
“He knows everything, doesn’t he?” You smiled at them after serving another customer. “Definitely.” Nanaba responded, giggling as she eyed the cookies that remained in the bag.
“Bye, [Y/N]. Bye, Geto. Bye, girls.” Your mother said, hugging each one of you. “Ms. Sullivan's here and I have to know why Ms.Amara fought with her husband. Goodness, Mr. Amara has to admit that he’s been sleeping with their neighbour's maid. Everyone knows it. We’ve tried telling her about it from the weekly book club to the chess club and the yoga classes but she’s in denial. But, it’s not my business anyway. Let's not involve ourselves.” Your mum whispered and with a smile, she was off.
“Geto, who are they? They seem like they know you a lot.” Nanaba commented, looking at you and your mother.
“This is [Y/N]. They were a great friend of mine throughout my childhood here. The other woman’s [Y/N]'s mum. She was a great friend of mine as well and babysat me when my parents were busy.” Geto said, heart slightly pulsating as the word 'friend' came out of his mouth. Almost as if he was repulsed by it. He could tell that you felt the same way when your smile didn’t reach your eyes. You were alright with him defining you as a ‘friend’ to the twins as they were too young to understand what went on between the both of you. You just didn't like that it showed how your relationship turned out.
“Yes, we spent our childhood with each other. If you want any embarrassing stories about him, I'll gladly tell you. There was a time when he decided to lick a metal pole during wintertime just to see whether his tongue would get stu-”
“No, [Y/N]- they don't need to know that.” Geto stammered, embarrassed as the twins began laughing.
“Did you get stuck?” Nanaba asked as she giggled. “How did you get unstuck?” Mimiko giggled as they watched a slight blush appear on Geto’s face.
“Yes, he did get stuck.” You stopped to giggle alongside the girls as Geto’s face reddened. “Luckily my mum came out to check up on us when she heard children screaming and laughing and saw Geto crying. We were all scolded, of course, and warm water was poured on it and it came right off.” You said, giggling as you looked at Geto who glared at you, stifling a laugh.
“Alright. No one's going to be hearing embarrassing stories about me or telling them.” He said, shaking his head as he smiled at them.
“Okay, Girls. We have to go home. Bye, [Y/N]. See you later.” Geto announced after talking to you for a bit more. “Bye, [Y/N]!” “See you later!” The twins said their goodbyes and departed alongside him. “Bye, see ya!” You waved goodbye and smiled as the trio waved back. Geto’s gaze lingered a little longer, smiling as his eyes seemed wanton. You smiled back then looked away, avoiding his interest. He noticed and his smile lowered as he looked away.
“It would never work out between us. I have to stop trying to indulge myself in him. He has to go back to Tokyo soon. Why does he have to be so handsome? Long-distance relationships don't work out half of the time. We’ve been together and it didn't work out. What's the point of trying again?”
“Gosh, I miss them. I shouldn't feel like this. It's been years since we were together. It wouldn't work out. It didn't work out the first time, It wouldn't work out this time either. Why do they have to be their adorable self?”
Tumblr media
“Nanaba! Look at my snowman! It's way better than yours!” Mimiko yelled, shuffling more snow into her snowman’s tummy. “No, it's not! Look at mine! The only thing missing is a carrot nose while yours doesn't even have a big enough stomach!” Nanaba responded as she fetched a carrot stick from her schoolbag and placed it in the snowman.
“I'm fini-” Nanaba paused and a downcast expression appeared on her face as she watched the carrot fall, along with half of the snow face.
“Ha!” “It's not funny, Mimiko!” “Hey, hey. You guys have been at this for a good minute. Three snowmen later and neither of you guys have won, either because the other hasn't accepted they have lost or you both didn't like something about your snowman.” Geto said, quite tired of their arguing and needed peace.
“Hey! How about we have a little competition?” “[Y/N]! That is exactly what I'm trying to prevent!”
“Hear my point out before you judge, Geto. How about we split into teams of two and whichever team wins gets extra marshmallows on their hot chocolate, sponsored by yours truly.” You announced, mischievousness in your eyes as the two children smirked at one another and dashed to start first.
“Geto! Come on, we're going to lose!” You shouted at the man as you dashed to a spot not far from the children, where you could both see them and be able to reach them quickly if anything happened.
“You’re so damn childish, [Y/N]. Geto rolled his eyes but smiled as he watched you pile up snow, and began filling his hand with it. “Children love this. Gosh, you're lucky to have Nanaba and Minako as your own. They're such wonderful girls.” You said as you took five big coloured buttons from your coat. You bought many just for this activity. “Yes, they are. I love them so much.” He said, a gentle smile on his features as he thought about them. You smiled at the gentleness of his gaze while you continued with your activity.
“Why couldn't you just settle for rocks?” Geto asked, quizzed as he placed a red button in the middle of the snowman's tummy. “It's much more exciting that way. Makes it more magical.” You responded, shaping the head of your snowman.
“This attitude is exactly why I fell for you.” Geto was too slow to prevent it from slipping out of his mouth. You paused, taking in his words. Your heart hammered in your chest as your brain slowly processed his words. “Um...that’s great.” You awkwardly responded, the atmosphere tense as you both knew the heavy weight his words carried and the potential to make it tenser with every word said next.
“I- I'm so sorry, [Y/N]. I shouldn't have said that.” Geto apologised, nervous as he watched you ponder over his words. “I get it, Geto. You coming back here has sparked feelings I thought I gave up a long time ago. We both know we can't pursue them though. You’ve got the city and I’ve got my university abroad to think about. The long-distance was the exact reason we left each other in high school. You had Jujutsu High and I couldn't be the reason why you didn't go or got distracted. It's the same pattern right now.”
“Are you suggesting that it means that we're not meant for each other?” Geto exacted, staring at [Y/N] who remained silent long enough for him to know their response.
“Look, Geto. We began talking to each other after, I don't know, six years? I don't even know what you're up to nowadays and you don't know anything about me right now. I can't pursue you and you can't pursue me if we haven't even said a thing to one another for a long time.” You said, ticked off at the lack of understanding he seemed to have.
The two of you were quiet for a moment, idly watching the twins as they searched for twigs to use on the snowman. “Shit, you're right”. Geto finally said and turned to you who hummed in response. “I know.”
“How about we try being friends again? We can’t avoid what we are feeling for one another so let’s try to be close to one another.”
“Just to test the waters, if you want, of course.” Geto quickly added, blood flowing to his cheeks as he awaited their response and hoped that he hadn't offended them.
“He wants to test the waters? I don’t know about it. He wants us to be close like we used to be and he’s right. I can’t deny my feelings for him. It would be nice to know more about him and decide whether to pursue my feelings or not.”
“Alright.” You finally responded, placing the button eyes on the snowman. “We can try to be friends again.”
“Thank you, [Y/N].” Geto responded, relieved at your response. A sigh fell from both of your lips as you gazed at one another, smiles on your faces as you finally allowed each other to take in the comforting presence of one another.
“[Y/N]! Geto! Our snowman’s better than yours!” Nanaba cheered, waving her hands at the both of you as Mimiko adjusted the scarf placed on the snowman.
“Ours just needs a nose and then it's going to be way better than yours!” You said then picked up the carrot. You pushed it a little too deep, causing the face to fall off. (You let them win, ofc!)
“Ours wins! Yes!” The girls cheered and high-fived and ran across the park in happiness.
“Yes, girls. You won. [Y/N] owes the both of you lots of marshmallows now.” Geto teased, smirking as you laughed. “Aww, guess we lost.” You said, looking at Geto as you put on a sad face. “You’re the one who bet, so you have to do it.” “Fine.” You grumbled, stifling a laugh at the children’s happiness.
“I know a great place to get hot chocolate! Let’s head there right now.” You said, getting your bag from Geto’s hands as the girls began packing.
You felt a hold through your glove and lifted your hands to see Geto's blue gloves over it. Geto held your hand, a gentle smile as he gazed at you. You smiled back, tightening your hold on his hand for a moment, showing that it was alright for him to hold it.
You both knew that it would be slow and steady but nothing else was better.

This reel had me cracking up which just increased when I realised how much of a funny scenario this would be between Miguel and the grandchild (his child, he decreed) of the grandma who owns his favourite small corner store! (个_个)
Peace and Blessings to You, My Love! <3
Tumblr media
“Carrots, tomatoes, onions, garlic, chillies, cu...” Miguel walked around the store, his cart rolling and stopping as he made a quick stop at the sweet section and then the snacks section, wondering if it would be worth it to indulge just this once in his delicious desire before shaking his head as he left the area. He rushed back to collect a box of cookies and maybe that box of tres leches cake as well.
The store was quiet; a few customers were scanning goods as others walked out, younger ones waving a bye and ‘See ya, Matt!’ then beating their chests with a clenched arm. The young man with a tussle of dreadlocks smiled eagerly and beat their chest as well, then waved. “See y'all at the game!”
Miguel was glad for the quiet atmosphere. His senses were more at peace and not as stimulated as they would be outside of it. The store was one of the few quiet havens he had access to in a city this active and a duty to its inhabitants so tasking.
Suddenly, the rough push of the store's door was brought to his attention, and the rushed footsteps of two into the storeroom made him stare at the direction they were headed. The elderly owner of the store, Donna, waved at him as she smiled before scowling when she turned to her grandchild. [Name], guilty, looked away from Miguel’s gaze, which questioned the situation that occurred for both to be upset.
“Grandma, I'm sorry.” He heard you plead, your voice breaking as you struggled to put together words to reassure her. “Do you not appreciate anything I do for you? I always have to defend your foolish behaviour. I’m tired of it.” She tiredly responded, stacking up small boxes to remove and arrange their goods at the store. You grabbed some boxes yourself, hearing a hum from her as she quickly glanced at you from the corner of her eye before walking out.
“Well, that's the last customer, Ms.Myres.” Matt said, twirling the closed sign at the shut door, then removing his green apron. “Thank you as always, Matt. Heading for the soccer game now?” She thanked him as he took the boxes out of her hand and knelt down to place the goods in their selected positions.
“I have thirty more minutes, Ms.Myers. It's gonna be great! The two teams have had a bit of rivalry, so the game’s going to determine who’s better! My team’s definitely winning!”
“Hmph. If he’s the one picking the winning team, they're definitely losing.” You said, smirking as you took one box from him and arranged it. Matt bit back a curse as Donna was in the room and instead glared at you. Your smirk dropped due to the stink eye your grandmother drew at you, and you turned back to your task. “At least I make the right choices, unlike some people.”
“You want to say that again?” You scoffed and turned to him with a glare. Frustration built up in you as you watched him ignore you. “Of course it's like you to say something stupid, then shut up. Prick.” You whispered the insult and stood up.
“That wasn't a very nice thing to say, [Name].” The rattle of the back door’s ornaments brought your attention to Miguel, who’s hands were littered with dust and guided himself to the sink at the corner. “Your security system’s fixed, Donna. It just needed some new wires.”
“Thank you, Miguel. You're so kind. Feel free to treat yourself to whatever.” Donna said, discreetly showing him the pieces of tres leches cake she reserved for him and a cup of tea.
“I was just helping out, Donna. No need to give me anything.” Miguel responded and uttered a ‘thank you’ before placing a piece in his mouth.
“Matt shouldn't say such things, then.” You responded, glaring at Matt as you wiped the countertop. Matt rolled his eyes as he discarded the trash from the bin. “Then maybe you should act your age. You're not a lil' kid anymore.”
“He’s so stupid.” You said, watching Matt disappear to the back of the store and rolled your eyes at the stern look Miguel had. “Your ears must be pretty good for you to have heard me.”
“They are.” He smiled and chuckled when you rolled your eyes. “What trouble did you get into today?” Miguel asked. A frown adorns itself on your face. You looked away from him and moved your eyes to your grandmother, silently pleading that she wouldn't talk about it.
“They failed a math test. What bothers me was not that they failed it, but rather their answers when I looked at the paper. Quite dumb, if you ask me.” Your grandmother sternly looked at you as you looked away, bothered.
“They weren't that bad, Grandma.” You tried to defend yourself but froze when your paper was handed over to Miguel.
You knew that your grandmother considered Miguel her son, as she bonded with him when he was a child, and she was friends with Conchata, and the woman trusted her to babysit him and his brother. Miguel also worked in the store for a bit. They were practically family at this point.
“I quit. Imma learn how to cook instead.” You cringed as you heard Miguel’s deep voice repeat, the tone suggesting that he had a lot to say about your paper as well.
You heard a chuckle and turned to Matt, who struggled not to smile, failing miserably when he saw your glare admist your embarrassment. “Guess, I'm done for the day, Ms. Myres. I'll be on my way now. See you tomorrow!” “See you tomorrow, Matt! Good luck! I hope your team wins!” “I hope so too, Ms. Myres!”
“You’re in so much trouble.” Matt mouthed at you and smirked, then left. Your hand gripped the door handle, ready to chase after him, before Miguel stopped you. “Cariño, ven aquí.” "Darling, come here.” He motioned to you, and you perked at him from the corner of your eye. His look was stern, and his eyebrows hightened at your hesitation. You loudly sighed in exasperation, then headed up to him.
“I didn't raise you to make such noises, [Name]!”
“Sorry, Grandma”. You said and held back a tut. Now, in front of the man, the cola that was displayed next to you looked a lot more interesting than you found it before.
“Look at me, Cariño.” You shyly turned your head towards him. “Did you prepare for this test?” You kept quiet, trying to not look away. “I’ve asked you a question.” He said, his heart breaking at the desperate look on your features, but stayed stern.
“N-not really. No.” You said and quickly wiped away a stray tear that fell onto your cheek. Tears threatened to increase when you saw your grandma’s sadness on her face when she looked at you, her shoulders slumped in disappointment.
“Why?” He asked, looking through each answer you gave out. “Your answers really show that you don't care about your grades. Academics, really.”
“Umm...” You took a sharp breath. The atmosphere was so tense. You knew that anything you said might stir the conversation in a terrible direction.
“I'm just not really good at processing things.” You whispered at the end, looking away as your embarrassment increased.
“Not telling anyone about your struggles and not asking for help isn't going to help you.” Miguel responded, disappointment curling his brow. “Isn’t Matt your classmate? Maybe you could have ask- Nevermind.” He sighed as he caught onto the way your face scrunched at the mention of Matt. “If you continue like this, you’ll end up struggling a lot in the future.”
“I know.” You responded, and lowered your eyes to the ground. “[Name].” “I’m sorry.” You apologised for looking away.
“If you want, I can tutor you.” Miguel said after a moment, with a soft smile on his expression. “...What?” You responded, eyes wide at his suggestion. “You would?” You asked, in disbelief.
“Would you? Don't you already have a lot on your plate?” Your grandmother asked and walked up to the both of you with a look of worry on her face.
“I'd be glad to. With your permission, of course.” “Yes! Thank you so much, Miguel!” Your grandmother hugged him while you processed the new task you had in hand.
“Thank you, Miguel.” You said after a moment, with a soft smile on your face. “I should have just admitted it.” You shook your head and chuckled when you heard him chuckle. “At least you know better now.”
“Yup.”
“Matt’s gonna love this.”

MECHAMIWA! [Mechamaru [Kokochi Muta] / Kasumi Miwa.
A past moment.

“It’s beautiful, isn't it?” Miwa said, her soft tone mearly a whisper against the cold wind that flowed around her and Muta. “What is?” Muta responded, his sight on the lady before him. His metallic appearance remained a disguise to his fancy, both a relief and a misery.
Miwa pointed upwards, and Muta followed her pale blue fingernail. “The sky?” “Yes.” She responded with a soft smile as she watched the lights above her. “What’s so beautiful about it?” He quizzed, confused and nervous when Miwa sighed.
“I didn't mean to offend.” Muta hurriedly said, to which Miwa couldn't help but giggle. “It’s alright, Mechamaru.” She reassured him with a smile, looking back at the sea above them.
“The bright stars are gorgeous, each contributing to the beauty of the sky tonight. The moon’s glowing brightly over us, lighting the night. It's beautiful.” Miwa sighed, smiling as she placed her head on Mechamaru’s shoulder.
Muta wished he could feel her warmth next to him, the tickle that her hair would have caused next to his face, and her warm fingers intertwining with his actual ones, not the ones that chilled against the cold wind of the night.
“I wish every day was as simple as this night, as silly as it is to say.” Miwa let out a sharp chuckle, saddened by her hope.
“Me too.” Mechamaru tightened his hold on hers for a moment in approval. “Y’know, I can see the beauty in it now. Thanks for showing me.”
“You’re welcome, Mechamaru.”
Hearts warmed despite the cold in absolute adoration.

“Oh, be careful not to trip over the wires. In fact, how about playing elsewhere?” You smiled at the two children in front of you as you led them to the kids’ section of the party being held at your parents’ country club.
It was your fourth anniversary with the man you married, Miguel O’Hara. From what seemed like a double date to pair friends up to an amazing marriage between the both of you, it was an event worthy of being celebrated every year.
Your parents insisted that the party this year be held in their country club, as they wanted the event to be the first one ever since its expansion. Even going to the extent of having you both stay there for a week before the event to prepare for the big day.
Everything was perfect. From the flowers that adorned the bouquet you held as you walked down the aisle, currently decorating every part worthy of them, to the sight of the sun shining over the wide, fresh, green grass field.
“Kids are such darlings, aren't they [Name]?” Your mother stood next to you as you both watched the kids you led eagerly run to the trampoline.
“Yes, they are. Their bubbly energy is quite infectious.” You giggled, nervous, as you predicted the next words that would pour out of her lips.
“Maybe this is the time to have some of your own, [Name]”. You internally groaned, fighting the twist in your emotions to show on your face. “Soon, soon.” You responded with a smile on your face, in contrast to the blank look on your mother’s.
“I can't wait for those words at your fifth anniversary, [Name].” She reprimanded you in a low voice, merciful enough not to have anyone hear your conversation. “We’re just giving each other time to build before having children.” You responded, swirls flowing in your stomach as feelings of falsehood heightened.
“[Name]. One year, I get. Two years, possibly understandable. Three years is confusing, but four years doesn't make any sense.” Your mother said, shaking her head. “It doesn't make any sense why you don't have a little one of your own around. You've always been so good with children, and it's clear that you love them. That’s what makes it difficult to understand why you don't have one.” Taking your hand in hers, she led you to a secluded spot in the building. You wanted to halt your movement but couldn't risk it seeming disrespectful to an outsider.
As you walked, your father’s eyes fell on you, knowing what must have been going on, and he nodded his head before turning back to the guest in front of him. You sighed as you sat on a chair next to the older woman, understanding that a conversation must have occurred between them.
“[Name]. Your father and I didn't raise you for all those years, only to disgrace us.” Your mother glared. You nodded your head as your heart beat rapidly. “‘You're giving each other time to build.’  You're not poor, [Name]. We’re not poor. What’s there to build?” Tears threatened to pool in your eyes, but you held them in. You were better than this. You knew her words shouldn't get to you, but each time a remark fell from her lips, you were weakened. Your mother sighed in irritation when she saw you, both saddened at the sight of you yet selfish enough to continue.
“You would tell me if he was infertile, [Name]. I know you're not. We got all the testing done.” Her hand moved to wipe the tears that managed to fall. “I hate seeing the articles that pop up about the both of you. Your father’s a major politician, [Name]. The media doesn't give any of us a break. Do you think I enjoy seeing all those people define your marriage as worthless? The paparazzi photos of the both of you going through your daily lives together with the most disgusting headline right on top?” You took deep breaths to stop the tears that poured out of you in mass amounts as your mother rubbed your back.
“When you first introduced Miguel to us, I wasn't supportive of how you chose to marry someone below us.” You chuckled, remembering the occasion when Spider-Man saved your mother from a burning building caused by the Green Goblin. “He’s not below us, Mum. He’s perfect for me, and I love him so much. I've told you that so many times.” You responded, a twitch in your eye as annoyance dripped in your words.
“But, regardless, I accepted it.” She ignored you. “I know I have no right to tell you what to do in your marriage.” Your mother slipped a white, silk handkerchief from her handbag and handed it to you. You took it and wiped your tears. “But this is too much.” “How is it too much for you? I'm the one who you're pressuring to have a child.” You responded, and frustration built up in you as you blew your nose. You wanted children as well, but Miguel never seemed interested when the topic was brought up, and you couldn't force him.
“Look, [Name]. None of us are getting younger. Your father and I want to see our first grandchild; you deserve to have a child. A marriage without kids for so long? It doesn't look good at all, [Name].” You sighed in exhaustion and stared down at the table in front of you.
“Where’s the man of the hour, anyway? I told you that you shouldn't have invited Dana.” Your eyes squinted at the suggestion your mother was trying to make. “He’s handling something for a moment. Something to do with the grill.” He had to handle a speed chase immediately; Lyla informed you earlier through a timed text to your phone. He had taken quite a bit of time to get back, though. “Besides,” you cocked an eyebrow. “Why shouldn't I have invited Dana?”
“They were once together, [Name]. I’ve seen the way she stares at him despite being married to his brother. She’s a harlot, that’s what. I’m sure that she’s with him right now as we speak. It's probably why we haven't seen her around since her arrival.” Your mother barked, annoyed at how you didn't understand her perspective.
“I’m done here. I’m not having this conversation again. You question his fidelity, and you question his fertility as though it's any of your damn business.” You announced, a cold look on your features as you stood up. “[Y/N]-” Your mother began, but she could only watch as you walked out of the room. Your mother sighed angrily and slumped her shoulders.
“The audacity of that woman.” You tut, annoyed, as you search for the washroom. It wouldn't look good for anyone to see you sad, especially on your anniversary.
Water dripped down your face. “Was your mother perhaps right? Was this all too much? Miguel was amazing with children—the way he'd lift them when they'd want him to; how gentle he was with them when they were injured, reassuring them that they'd be alright as he gently placed the bandage on them. He loved them. Perhaps he just didn't want children with you.
“Ugh.” You let out a sigh, exhausted, and shook your head as you pulled out your cosmetics from your purse and quickly applied them before anyone else arrived. “I'm overthinking”. You said as you precisely drew eyeliner. “He isn't like that. He wouldn't waste my time like that.”
Once refreshed, you stepped out and decided to walk around for a bit to clear your mind.
“Gosh, this day can’t get any wo-” You lamented, opening the door to your suite, but ceased when you heard some shuffling and then silence. “What?”
You stepped in and found Miguel hurriedly wearing his shirt. “I’m almost done, Cariño.” Miguel said, buttoning it as he smiled at you, the smile not reaching his eyes. “You look nervous. What's up?” You asked, removing his hand from his shirt and fixing the buttons for him before you moved to his tie. “Tuck in.”
“Nothing’s up.” He responded with a slight pitch in his voice as you attached the knots. He hoped you didn't notice it. You did. “You’re lying, Miguel.” You insisted and tightened the tie a bit too tight, unknowingly. “It's a bit tight.” You loosened it.
“I can tell when you're lying, Mikey.” You handed his suit jacket to him. “Surely, we’ve been married long enough for you to be comfortable with me.” You pressed as you slid your hand over the creases. “I'm alright.” He coldly responded, stopping himself from scowling. You caught onto it as well.
“I'll leave it at that.” You responded, hugging him. “You’re so handsome, My Love.” You looked up and smiled at him. His hand cupped your cheek lovingly, and you leaned into it. “Eres tan hermosa, Amada.” “You’re so beautiful, Beloved.”
Just as you both leaned in in absolute admiration, you heard the shuffling of hangers in his closet. “What was that?” You asked, startled, and began walking towards the noise. “Amada-” Miguel began but stared in horror as the closet doors were spread wide.
“D-Dana?! What the actual fuck?!” You screeched, hurriedly stepping away from the closet to glare at your husband. Dana stepped out, only wearing her underclothing.
“Miguel, what is this?” You questioned him, tears pricking the sides of your eyes as you glared at him as Dana rushed to pick up her dress and run to the bathroom. The man avoided your gaze, solemn as he stared down.
“You can’t even look at me.” You shook your head and dabbed the stray tears that poured out of your eyes. Miguel’s hand moved upwards to dry you, but you slapped it away. His guilty gaze fell on yours, and your spiteful one could only tearfully look away.
“Look, I'm not going to talk about this right now. If it even matters to you, we're supposed to be down there celebrating our anniversary. I'm not going to embarrass myself by confronting this publicly.” You sighed and headed to the mirror to make sure that sadness wasn't evident in your features.
“[Name]-” “Dana, if you know what’s good for you, you'll leave. I don’t want to hear you justify this. It's so obvious.” The now-dressed woman squirmed under your glare and looked at Miguel. His eyes didn't receive hers. A sniffle was heard from her as she walked out. Your fist clenched.
The space was quiet. The tension between you and your husband could be cut with a knife. “Cariño, please. I'm so, so sorry.” Miguel begged, head on your waist as he knelt. His hands grasped your own, desperate for a response from you, who held your head high.
“Stop. Just stop. I don't want to think about this right now. Let’s go and get this over and with, Miguel.” You begged, visibly shaking, as you struggled not to cry. “We’ll talk about this later.” You said. The rubbing of his thumbs on your knuckles disgusted you. You were mourning how comforting of a hold you considered it to be just a few minutes ago.
Seeing you resist, Miguel sighed and stood up, holding your hands before letting them go. You walked out, with him trailing behind.
When you neared the others, your arm intertwined with his and you smiled at the guests.
“[Name]. Miguel.” Conchata, Miguel’s mother, came up to the both of you. “We’re alright, Connie. How are you?” You happily responded, wrapping an arm around her and letting go of Miguel.
“I'm alright. Gabriel and Dana had to leave, though. Something about work.” She sips the champagne in her glass. “Yes, Dana informed me of it. It's a pity.” You chuckled a bit, anger firing in you, smiling at Miguel as you watched him tense a bit.
“Oh, come on. You don't need to be so formal with me. You're practically family now.” Conchata patted Miguel’s shoulder. “Miguel, I hope you make her feel that way.” She threw a stern eye his way.
“Yes, I do. She's amazing, after all.” He quickly answered, a loving gaze on his features at your own as he intertwined his hand with yours while you struggled not to scowl.
“Thank you. He really makes me feel that way.” You responded, turning back to Conchata and berated yourself at the tug of adoration was pulled from your heartstrings.
Miguel and his mother only recently came to terms. They were still working on building their relationship, and you knew it would be a struggle to reveal him.
Even if it was for a moment, you wanted to believe the words you formulated in your mouth.
You couldn't. Wouldn't.
Tumblr media
You admired the swirl of the red liquid as you poured it into your glass. Uncomfortableness slightly poked you when the wine touched the tip of the glass, but you did not care for formality at the moment.
“How long?” You asked the man in front of you as he cooked, watching as he tensed but remained silent. You rolled your eyes and gulped the drink. His brown eye looked at you from the side.
“Two months.” Miguel responded after a moment, turning off the gas and turning to you. “I made your favourite, Amada.”
“I don't give a flying fuck right now, Miguel.” You cried.
“I’m so sorry, Amada. I can fix this. I'll be better.” Miguel hugged you, his frame resistant to the pulls you tried to make away from him. Ultimately, the warmth you craved made you sob into him.
“How can you be so selfish?”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m tired of all the issues in our marriage and how everyone wants to poke and prod at.”
“I know.”
“I want a child, Miguel. Four years have passed. I've given you so much time to think. You’ve made your decision. You should have told me that you didn't desire children with me.” You let out a sob at how much your last sentence hurt.
“It’s not that I don't want a child with you. My responsibilities, Cariño. I couldn't even if I wanted to.” He says after a moment, watching as your body slumps in exhaustion.
“Your responsibilities this. Your responsibilities that. Do any of your responsibilities stop you from cheating?” You asked angrily. He looked away, ashamed.
“It’s hard enough as it fucking is getting everyone to understand us. You must have heard the argument between mum and I due to your super-hearing. The same way you knew of my footsteps and tried to hide Dana. I've tried so hard to get her to approve of us.” You said, sniffling. “You don't know how embarrassing it's going to be to leave you.”
“Then don't.” Miguel said and hugged you tightly before letting go to gaze at you. Even through your messy outline, he still loved the features that adorned your face. His face moved closer to your own, and shame overcame you as you received the kiss he gave you.
Passion flowed between the both of you as your lips moved in sync, your arms wrapping around his neck, chests meeting as his hands grasped your sides. His tongue prodded between your lips, begging for entrance, which you eagerly gave and moaned as you felt him tighten his hold on you.
“No, no, no. I-I can't do this.” You uttered, let go of him, and stood up from his hold. “Mi Vida, wait." He said, standing as you walked away. “I’ll sleep in the guest bedroom tonight.” You teared up. “I don't know; I just can't be around you right now.”
Miguel sighed as he watched you walk away, guilt clouding his mind. He wanted to be with you in your moment of hurt, but he knew the distance was for the best.
“Miguel, I'm so sorry for interrupting, but there's a bank robbery occurring in...”
You heard Lyla from the corridor and Miguel's rough response. You could tell he didn't want to go, but he’d never abandon his duties.
You shook your head, wiped a tear, then walked to the guest bedroom.
Tumblr media
A bit messy, I'll admit, but it's alright.
