夏季休暇が終わり、久しぶりの出勤でした。

出勤したら、なぜか一階の事務所は何か不穏な空気が漂っていて。私のデスクがある二階に上がったら、更に不穏な空気が漂っていました。しかも経理の１人の職員さんは不在。先輩に尋ねたら

｢あと１人は…しばらくしたら戻ってくるはずよ｣

言い方も妙だし、休み明けで仕事が山積みだから不穏な空気なのかと思いながら、溜まっている仕事に取りかかり始めたら、不在だった職員さんが戻ってきました。社長から呼び出しがあって、今まで社長室にいたそうです。

私と先輩が現在携わっている極秘の人事の話を、別部署の一般社員の人に喋っていたそうです。それも世間話感覚で。話を聞かされた相手にしてみたら、何故、経理職員が㊙の人事の話を知っていることにショックを受けたようで、相手が社長に相談したことで今回の事態が発覚。経理の職員さんは社長から厳重注意があったそうです。

経理と人事の部屋は同室なので私達が携わっている仕事は嫌でも耳に入ってきますが、それを漏らすんだ…という衝撃。経理の職員さんは私より一回り以上、年上の方で今までにも事務経験もあられる方です。

会社の人だからと悪気なく喋ったそうで、仕事で知り得た情報を漏らしてはいけないことを今朝初めて知ったとケロッとした様子で口にしていました。

社労士事務所在職時は私は個人情報の塊の怖さに、ストレスだらけで、もう二度とこの類いの仕事はしない😣と思っていました。今の会社の面接で社長から、一般事務ではなく、労務・人事の打診があったときも、私に務まるのか悩みましたが、面接時に一緒に仕事をするという先輩と顔合わせがあったときに、先輩の人柄を見て、この人なら頑張って付いて行こう❗と決心して労務・人事で応じました。私の仕事は個人情報の塊なので、今も親、友人にも話すことはしません。クーラーが効きすぎの愚痴はこぼしますが笑

ただ、個人情報についての認識というか、感覚の違いがあまりに怖すぎてパソコンから顔を上げて経理の職員さんの顔を見ることはできませんでした🧑‍💻 ただ、私もこれを他山の石として気を付けていかないと…と思いました。

私自身が不祥事、事件を起こしたわけではありませんが、何とも居心地の良くない１日でした。
