人間の文化はコロコロ変わる。

wwwがいつの間にか草に変わったり、大学の女子の卒業式の服装（※）、性の多様性の受け入れる人の割合まで大きく変わる。つまりずっと昔のままじゃないし、ずっと今のままじゃないってことだ。

こんなことを書きだしたのはあることを疑問に思ったからだ。

それは「文化は変わるのに、今の誰かが大事にしているものは後の世代に大事にされる保証はまったくない。どうする？」だ。

それは「昔の時代は大事にされていたものは今の時代には必ずしも大事にされない」ことでもある。もし幽霊がいるなら、その幽霊にとって大事なものを僕たちはあたりまえに冒涜している可能性がある。

もう一つ重要な疑問がある。

「たとえば、命とか平和の大切さとかそんな大事なことを百年二百年のうちにつぎつぎ変わる文化なんかに決めさせていいのか？」だ。
