MAYBE THIS WAS A MERE COINCIDENCE. or perhaps it was more the stars playing tricks on each person trapped within this refined cage, meant to be observed in one's most trying times. there's a bitterness which he feels in the rumination of those thoughts — simply subjects to be trialed under some scope. and whether or not what they did to the ones who did not meet their standards... well, he'd dare not think of such, lest he return to that withheld rage that should only scarcely see the light of day.

for now, he would choose to focus on more important matters, like the young man before him, trapped within a concaved snowbank alongside him until they could find a way out.

stepping forward, an arm lifts before he speaks. ❝ Here. You'll need this more than I do. ❞ his words are accompanied with a plop of warm cloth over lyney's shoulders, the coat which once draped over the warden's back missing in order to give some extra buffer of warmth. it was better this way, at least to him, in making sure the other didn't borrow too many traits from whatever these guardians were. and where his coat once sat, only a fluffy, wolfish tail is revealed, pairing only with his sharpened canines and a more rugged appearance.
