Jumping through hoops was nothing new for the radio demon and well it was the look on Vox's face that made it all the more worth it. Now that grin was worth more than the headache of setting all this up was. Alastor's gave contra and nob so the shadowy creature disappeared to leave the two alone again.

No, he wanted to surprise Vox for change. A hard thing to do when the man saw everything down to the last detail but the radio demon had his ways to slip past the other gaze enough to set up little things like this.

"Well I saved you the trouble today." He moves so he could press a quick little kiss to the side of his screen, hand coming to hold Vox's letting his thumb run over the other knuckles. "You work hard enough and I want you to not have to worry about falling behind with work today."

Small talk, something both were more than happy to partake in. "Oh you know me dear I always find something to keep me entertained while you're busy working." The hotel had been quiet which was never a worry since he had been setting this little surprise up for the last few days. "No occasion other than you getting my undivided attention for the day. I've also been lacking in that area recently so call this my way of making up for that." Yes he knows the other being nosy about going on so in an effort to distract the other he brings vox hand up to lips to press a kiss to the back of it. "I thought we could start our day at the aquarium. I hear they have new shark cubs."

     a day long meeting was rare,  but not altogether very shocking.  his meetings were catagorised by initials,  &&  he didn't recognise them as any typically demanding clients,  so he figured it was probably an overzelaous first - timer.  but before he had the chance to even leave his office for the designated meeting room,  he spotted none other than contra,  alastor's shadow,  rising up from the darkess to wrap around him.  he didn't mind in the least,  chuckling easily as he pet the shadowy creature how he could,  allowing him to nuzzle against him as much as it liked.  his eyes wandered,  searching for alastor,  grinning wide when he found him.

it felt surprisingly sweet that alastor had gone through so much trouble,  given that he knew the sheer amount of hoops that one needed to jump through in order to set up a meeting with him in the first place.  of course,  a lot of them could be skipped when alastor merely mentioned his name.

        ❛  good to see you both,  ❜    he replied easily.    ❛  no complaints here,  though.  when things are scheduled in advance,  i know to move things around,  so everything is taken care of for the day regardless.  happy to go wherever,  no kicking or screaming on the docket.  ❜

❛  how have you been?  i know i got a little busy the last few days.  ❜    small talk,  something he was both good at  &&  generally enjoyed,  even between the two of them.  plus a healthy dose of being nosy.    ❛  is there some kind of occasion i've forgotten?  our old anniversary isn't up yet,  it isn't a birthday.  ❜
