웃:  what my muse would leave to people in their will

A couple of things to note here:

First off, there's not going to be a lot of cold, hard cash to distribute. Aside from a reasonably responsible amount of savings, Shinji tends to spend his money once he makes it. This is partly because he's lowkey (read: highkey) a big "retail therapy" person (if you think the shoes he's wearing here aren't Gucci I literally don't know what to tell you) and partly because he's a firm believer in the whole "you can't take it with you when you go" thing. Plus, life sucks sometimes. If you can make it suck less by surrounding yourself with stuff that you like, more power to you.

Second off, while Shinji has a hefty record collection, and it might seem obvious to suggest that he'd leave meaningful albums to meaningful people, he's not prescriptive like that. He doesn't want to make assumptions about other people's tastes, no matter what he himself vibes with. He might set one or two albums aside for special folks if he's feeling extra sentimental, but I don't really foresee it. He's more likely to ask @playkinshara to dole them out if/as he sees fit, and then ask his friends to sell the rest of his clutch, bona fide vintage finds and make a quick, hefty buck.

So, honestly? His preference would be to leave a short, little note for the folks who survive him that reads something like:

Take whatever you want, but don't fight over stuff. Be fuckin civil about it, k? Pawn the rest of it and haggle like hell. Or hold a yard sale idc lol

☤:  the last time my muse went to the hospital and why

Shinji avoided the hospital like the plague during exile, for what he figured were obvious reasons - between leaving a record of his presence places and the fact that his body has all kinds of wonky stuff going on (whether he's in a gigai or not, he figures), it just seemed like a dumb thing to do. Plus, he's pretty hearty, and he's dexterous, and he's careful. He doesn't hurt himself or get sick very often, fortunately.

When he does hurt himself these days, though, he's actually pretty prudent about it. If he were to slip on some ice and fall on his ass, say, he'd actually bop over to the Fourth real quick to make sure that nothing was sprained or broken. He's proactive that way; a stitch in time saves nine, kinda mentality.

It's not a particularly exciting answer, but the last time Shinji went to the hospital was, statistically, pretty mundane. Turned his wrist funny while conducting routine drills, or wanted to double check that the shallow score across his arm from small-fry hollow claws was healing right.

He lives on the edge aesthetically, and he gets a kick out of exuding subversive vibes, but at his core? He's a careful motherfucker.

Other than taking on @chimaericrealities as a lieutenant??

Lol, I kid, kind of, because when Shinji takes risks, they're usually big ones, but they're usually the product of a long, long time spent thinking through pros and cons.

So, yeah, taking on the Most Suspicious Person In The Entire Gotei as his lieutenant is definitely, actually up there. Fast-tracking @black--sun's hollowfication training in the secret underground arena - and heck, even revealing the location of the warehouse to Ichigo in the first place, for that matter - also comes to mind, and that was dangerous, but it paid off.

We don't really see him take many risks in canon, either during the Fake Karakura Town battle or, frankly, throughout the whole of the Thousand Year Blood War arc. When shit hits the fan, Shinji is a strategist, and he acts withing the bounds of his (admittedly formidable) capabilities.

In conclusion, I guess I'm actually, fully not kidding at all when I say that the Aizen choice was was the riskiest one Shinji has ever made - because it's the only highly significant choice in Shinji's history that didn't pay off the way Shinji thought it would.

..................that said, I'm not mad, because it means we get shit like this:

Shinji has different feelings about it, obviously, but I'll gladly tip my hat to Aizen for directly fueling some of the most badass moments from my boy <3

So many 🥺 the first kisses, the first times, the headcanons, falling in love, breakups and reuniting… all the times someone cherished my muses is a fond memory 😭 you can’t imagine how much it means to me if someone loves them 😭

So so many 🥺 I met so many nice people through rp and one of my best friends I know since 16 years was one of my first long time rp partners ❤️ I also lost many partners which always gave me a big heartbreak, but still I shared so many nice memories with them too that I’ll always keep them in my heart and try to focus on the good things ❤️

웃 :  An existing character you’ve played in the past that you miss?

No one really cause I wouldn’t play the muses I played back then. The only one I would consider playing again is Mylene, with the faceclaim of Mylene Jampanoi cause I think this woman is just ❤️ but I love my Alex so much that I don’t need another female muse I think.

♂ :  Do you have a role-play/writing routine? If so, what is it?

Yes. Getting into comfy clothes, turning on some music and laying down in bed to write :) often I also light candles that remind me of the muse I play and reread older threads or scroll through pictures to get into the mood.

➳ :  Do you prefer writing on your own, on tumblr/a forum, or on an IM platform? Why?

I always used to play on IM platforms after MySpace closed, but since I started on MySpace in the comments where you could include pictures and gifs as well this is still my favorite way to do it. I love how you can jump through threads and memes on tumblr, that’s something that doesn’t exist on IM platforms. And forums are a bit tooooo open for me cause I feel easily judged and like to keep it in private. I’m a very visual person so I love aesthetics, gifs, manips, crackships, fan made videos, art… everything inspires me and I need it to write. That’s also a reason why I can’t play with characters who have no faceclaim or are animated or have a face I don’t connect with cause that’s not real enough for me. On tumblr it’s so easy to make threads and memes look pretty with all the banners and gifs and different fonts that’s why I love this platform. Also on IM platforms (amino for example) I often had the feeling that one liners use it more often while I find a lot of literal players here.

❤ :  What are some role-plays that you have done/are doing that you particularly enjoy and wish to share with your followers?

I had such amazing stories with partners I don’t write with anymore I would love to share but of course I won’t cause we don’t have contact anymore and I wouldn’t share anything against their will. Besides that I’m writing amazing private rps with @negans-savior-complex and @ricks-survivor-complex but I share a lot of it already so :)

@we-will-begin-again Mica introduced me into this rp twd fandom and she was one of the first muns I ever talked to on here. Of course her Lori is one of the most important characters for my Rick and I love how amazingly she portrays all of her characters. besides that she became so important to me as a friend cause she always listens and became my kind of rp manager 😂

@xgoldxnhour El is such an amazing character and her mun inspired me so much! Whenever we write I feel like getting better and better in my writing too and our stories will probably never end ❤️

@lovelylostminds Charlotte was one of the first muses who gave my Rick an original pre established relationship and I loved it from the beginning. Also her mun is such a good friend to me and I can’t stop cherishing her enough ❤️

@thesongbiird my babe 🥺 she was one of the first writing with my Rick and she made me fall in love with the brick ship ❤️ she also was the first one who taught me about jumping through threads and verses and memes and she is the reason why I now enjoy tumblr rp so much cause before I met her I only followed one thread, one continuing story without memes or jumping. Without her I probably wouldn’t play here anymore ❤️

1. 웃 :  An existing character you’ve played in the past that you miss?

I have written several muses in the past but most would qualify as OCs now, looking back to how roleplay communities used to work (at least the ones I ended up being a member of). But oddly enough my last recent muse is someone I still find myself missing - who was FFXV’s Aranea Highwind.

To this day she is still my FF queen and I think she was a wonderfully refreshing character who drew my attention from the second she appeared on-screen - and I liked having a few of my headcanons about her later validated with the DLCs and further information that came out about the game. :)

But although I miss writing her, I feel I have fallen out of touch with the XV universe as a whole, particularly because of how badly SE handled everything post-game. XV is a special title, it will always have a place in my heart (so will Aranea), but now writing back in XV feels... Bitter in a way I cannot fully describe.

2.  ➳ :  Do you prefer writing on your own, on tumblr/a forum, or on an IM platform? Why?

I like to write, haha, and I have done across all platforms - to be honest I’ve migrated to where people are, because it’s not really roleplay if you don’t have a partner. I find myself preferring roleplay over fanfiction lately because having someone else to plot with, bounce ideas off each other and the overall interactivity helps me be motivated - and there’s always the excitement of reading a new reply, too!

Having said that, tumblr is okay-ish (since I’m not into aesthetics or formatting, this doesn’t really kill my mojo or anything), as well as foruns. I wouldn’t mind discord either - I only had discord on mobile for almost 2 years, but now I do have it on the laptop too it really makes zero difference to me. 

3.  ☂ :  Spread some love: mention someone you’ve met that has influenced you or your writing in a positive way, and explain how.

Ahhh, I have had so many wonderful partners over the years, some of them long gone, some of them still around. I just love how everyone had a particular style but somehow always managed to capture the voice of their muses perfectly - to the point I could feel myself nodding or reading things in their voices. It was just that amazing.

I think what I have come to admire mostly was the varied use of different words and how they went about their muses - everyone approaches their characters differently and there was always a sense of amazement whenever I read replies. These people often made me care for characters I didn’t previously thought a lot about and then suddenly became unable to live without.

There are many lovely people I would like to tag but for the moment I will just name drop Han aka @dogof-war here because... Han was one of the first people I started to write with when I remade this blog this year and I cannot highlight how invested and passionate for Heidegger she is, and how carefully she considers everything about his life, abilities, feelings, family - anything. 

There is so much love, dedication and a way to magically make him alive - I can’t really explain, truly. But from his first name to his hobbies, I just can’t see anything I don’t agree with - and my roleplay husbando just keeps inspiring me and constantly allowing me to explore and expand my muse and my writing. :)

Oh, well. Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, and Snapchat probably.

Their online presence is basically That Crazy Young President who’s also pretty damn competent. Gristol is thriving and the 20something president is really good at this. And also posts memes on Twitter and Instragram videos of her dad making breakfast in PJ bottoms and her friends doing crazy shit.

Her Tumblr is probably full of reblogs of memes and shitposting, with lots of rock music and reblogs of badass fashion and hot ladies. She and Wyman and Jameson probably get into meme wars a lot.
