@isolatedocean​ asked:  The moment she spots him, the krill emerged from the water, her shadow almost ominously looming over the duck. At least, this is what it could be to the eye if someone wasn’t familiar with her. The gentle giant lowered her head, gently pressing it against Fethry; amazing how a large creature like her was able to control her own strength not to squish him. However, now sniffing at him, large black eyes let out a slow blink. He brought treats. She could smell them.

🦐; Fethry couldn’t stifle the giggle that bubbled up at Mitzi’s nuzzling. Oh, he was supposed to use the treats as research incentive, but she was just too darn cute, how was he supposed to not give in and spoil her?

“N-now, now, Mitzi!” He said between laughs, patting her head affectionately with his free hand. Oh well, one free day never hurt.

Fethry outstretched his arms to present the treats to the krill, standing on his tiptoes and smiling warmly at her. “Here you are, girl! You’ve earned it!”
