Today's character is Mizuki Makabe! Some may think of Mizuki as emotionless, but in reality she has a lot of feelings that she has trouble expressing, especially smiling. This is something that she is trying to change about herself. She is very emotionally intelligent, care about others a lot and works very hard at her job at being an idol, sometimes to the point of overwork. She enjoys and is skilled at magic tricks.

FUN FACT: Mizuki has a small mascot (similar to Akane-chan dolls) named "Little Mizuki". It seems to be sentient and it is unknown if that's through ventriloquism, magic, or technology.

i don't know how well you can see it but i've been really alternating between different shading brushes and applying textured overlay. it's hard to explain but i think it ties the drawings all together

the focus of this blog is on the 真壁寂室 × BAKUI series, but i am also very fond of the other MVs that BAKUI has been commissioned for, especially for dear life, hi phi club and ameri :)
