A dinosaur tooth of a Marshosaurus bicentesimus from the Brushy Basin Member, Morrison Formation in Dinosaur, Moffat County, Colorado, United States. Marshosaurus is a lesser known megalosauroid or piatnitzkysaurid of the Upper Jurassic often overshadowed by its famous contemporaries like Torvosaurus, Allosaurus, and Ceratosaurus. The blade-like teeth of these obscure theropods can be distinguished from the similar morphology of Allosaurus by its finer serration density and a DSDI greater than 1.15. These teeth have a similar condition to those of megalosaurids in which the mesial carinae does not extend to the base and stop around 2/3rds the way down.

A dinosaur tooth of an indeterminate theropod, likely a megalosaurid from the Isalo III Formation in Ambondromamy, Madagascar. The morphology is comparable to Middle Jurassic megalosaurs from similar contemporary deposits such as Afrovenator.

A dinosaur tooth of an indeterminate theropod from the El Mers Group in Boulahfa, Boulemane, Morocco. The tooth appears to lack a mesial carinae. While no theropods are described from this deposit, it is possibly a megalosauroid.

A partial dinosaur tooth of an indeterminate theropod from the El Mers Group in Boulahfa, Boulemane, Morocco. The tooth notably shows pronounced interdenticular sulci or grooves in between the denticles on the distal carina. The short mesial carina could suggest a megalosauroid, but could also be a basal allosauroid as well.

A dinosaur tooth of a cf. Afrovenator abakensis from the Irhazer Group in Marandet, Aderbissinat, Agadez, Niger. While megalosaurs are abundant in this region, it's unclear if they primarily belong to Afrovenator. The provenance and preservation is consistent with the Tiourarén Formation, but it is impossible to say for sure given the nature of these fossils. Despite having a fragile appearance, these fractured teeth are held together by very tough matrix.

A dinosaur tooth of an indeterminate theropod, possibly a megalosauroid from the Lourinhã Formation in Lourinhã, Portugal. Many theropods from the Jurassic had similar teeth making identifications of incomplete crowns difficult. The tooth is comparable to a morphology attributed to megalosauroids from this deposit depending on how the missing section is reconstructed.
