Save the Date: Arc the Lad Nico Nico Live Broadcast!
ATTENTION EVERYONE:
For those wondering, I was able to again confirm the time for the Nico Nico livestream on Friday, Aug 3, as well as verfiy a few other things regarding it.
(Apologies for a bit of lateness, but I wanted to be sure I compiled everything I had properly into ONE post. Yes, it's rather long, but *please read until the end*. Thanks!🙂)
SIE Japan Studio's live broadcast covering Arc the Lad (along with the Siren series, and a few other guests) will be held:
-- Friday, Aug 3 at 19:30, Japan Time (in other words, that would be 7:30 PM for them). --
It is being streamed via their official account, found here:
SIE JAPAN Studio (Nico Nico)
The Nico Nico page for the show does adjust dates for your time zone and has a countdown for when to expect the channel to go live, which SIE Japan Studio announced would be 10 minutes before the actual program start. (I'm not wholly experienced with their service but I believe it does this if you're registered and following a channel, and it apparently knows your location from your profile data.)
However, as a reference I am supplying you with a very easy to use time zone converter tool found at the following link:
Time and Date.com - Time Zone Converter/Time Difference Calculator
To use this, you will FIRST be entering the date and time according to Japan Standard Time (you'll easily find it simply by typing "Japan" in the search), then adding the date and specific hour of the broadcast.
It will then ask for the location you want (try your closest major city, especially in the case of large countries that occupy several zones, and if you know your time zone already you can use that), and immediately give you the resulting date and time adjustments for your area, and make things easier for you.
If you can plan accordingly, then it would be wonderful if you could all join with a Nico Nico account to watch!😄
(You apparently do have the ability to re-watch a stream starting about a half hour to an hour later after the live show ended, so those of you who cannot make it, consider still dropping by later and checking it out!🙂)
Anyway, if you do not have a Nico Nico account yet, please let one of us know so we can walk you through it if necessary.
On a PC browser (I usually use Chrome) the instructions are available in English without need to translate, and it's overall pretty straightforward:

Lastly, I have been checking the JapanStudio_JP Twitter account again to see if they have finished taking submissions for comments on the program (they are apparently looking for people to discuss what they feel passionate about regarding the Arc series in the past, specifically Arc 1 and 2), but I see no notices that they are done taking in replies.
The message thread where they are taking these also continues to be pinned to the top of the Twitter account.
I’m wondering if perhaps there is still a shot at being considered if any of us can ready some comments within the next couple of hours?🤔
Below is the link to the thread, please consider answering if you can and let us know about it via Ask or DM!

Anyway, thank you all very much for reading through!😄❤️

These are wonderful! Thank you again for the go-ahead in reblogging, @famigeki!
Anyway, @famigeki dedicates themselves to sharing scans from different games in both those magazine lines and was very kind, so please do check them out as well! :D
We're unsure how long it might take this time around because of her work and study schedule (and that interview section doesn't look like much but is actually at least like 4 pages of English text), but @demonsparrow has some interest in bringing everyone at least a summary of the article and interview, if not a full translation!
But for now let's marvel at the fact that you can see Shante and Diekbeck's redesigns over here, which might calm down a few folks who were worried an Arc 1 or 2 fave had not been accounted for yet, and Chongara in screenshots curiously having something akin to his old outfit back! :D (Which I'd spotted on Twitter before, but the image didn't seem as clear on this one.)
Also developer staff photos, nice! :D
Looking forward to that stream!❤

NOTICE: Arc the Lad R has officially been released in Japan!
- Perfectly timed too, as it coincides with Arc’s birthday over there (August 23rd). (The information reveal was also timed, for that matter. It was set along with the anniversary of the original game’s release.)
- RPG Site and Gematsu have already reported this news, expecting others to update as well in the coming hours!
- For those curious: I went ahead and tested out my pre-registration a few hours ago, and YES, IT WORKED!
@demonsparrow is unsure if their phone will cooperate with the install, but will be testing this out as well soon, when time for that is available. (I am quite willing to help out anyone who might be interested in installing and trying out the game, if they do not mind that it will be completely in Japanese, and that neither myself not Sparrow have yet figured out all of its offerings [Anyone who wants to offer and pitch in to this is absolutely welcome!]. Still, feel free to send an Ask to this account with your questions!) Hopefully we might be able to at least score you some screenshots of how the game plays! :D
