What he asked shouldn’t make her chest feel much funnier should it? Originally he had grabbed her by the hips to tug her out of the way of the ceiling that came down in this abandoned pizzeria location, but when his hands seemed to linger there too long it made her cheeks burn a pink hue from it. Chewing on her lower lip she looks away quickly.

The suddenness of it made her giggle, and she lets Helpy do so as shes sitting in the chair. The animatronics little arms didn’t even make it halfway around her form but the gesture was admirable. As gentle as she could be as to not do any damage she lifts them up and does her best to gently give them a hug. “Why do you have to be so adorable?”

Before she had met him ( @immortalspringtrap​ ‘s Will), she only had heard rumors of things around town that happened at the Pizzeria she had always gone to, even with her family following the franchise to their different locations if they weren’t that far from home. 

After meeting him when she was nineteen-years-old when he was stuck inside the Springtrap suit, there was a weird and strange bond the two had formed, although it almost ended in her demise the first time coming across him. (Depending on the verse / au), she considers him a good friend that sticks by her through good and bad times.

Although she feels like she knows her friend like the back of her hand, the stranger made questions run through her head a mile a minute, and she was starting to doubt the relationship they had formed with one another after so long. Was Springtrap using her, pretending to be nice to her to use her in some final plot? This idea made her chest hurt, and she felt like she’d get upset.

“He wouldn’t do that, why are you lying?” She said at the stranger, frowning as tears began to well up. “He’d of done so if that was the truth!” Did she really know if it was true? Not really. For all she knew the person could be right and the one she considered a friend could betray her at any moment.

Although she new Springtrap could be sweet to her sometimes, the last thing she would’ve expected was a stuffed animal to be given to her and it warmed her heart up a lot. After accepting the gift she looks at it, and it was a Springbonnie plush surprisingly.

The young woman rubs at her teary eyes, but a small look of hope fills her eyes when she sees Springtrap and it makes her begin to feel better, happy again even and she quickly goes over to him and wraps a single arm around his free one. When he asks if he should take care of the stranger for her she nods, using her own free hand to rub at any tears that were left.

Edith winced when he pretty much yelled that command at her, her body was shaking easily and she was getting scared. Although she had put up with things that her friend had said and done before, why did it scare her when he got angry and yelled? Her eyes darted from Will to the stranger that was making a break for it towards the exit of the abandoned pizzeria they were in. 

“I-I don’t know.. I mean ..” She stutters, voice wavering from fear. “I don’t think I can.”

Why would he want her to live forever? Eventually, he would probably get sick of her, and she wouldn’t blame him for it. Edith stares down, frowning at the thought of even living forever, would she be young or old when that were to happen? If it were when she was in her senior years, she wouldn’t want to live forever then with any health issues that may occur. 

“I don’t know if I’d want to live forever honestly.”

Her chest rose and fell with heavy breaths, the sight of them made her a bit shaky but she knew she had to be strong. Although by now she has faced a lot, especially in things she couldn’t explain for the life of her if she ran she’d be a coward like she used to be as a child and hiding behind her parents with her tail between her legs.

Edith stared with determination at the one before her, her eye shining under the dim fluorescent lights above. “I only want to help you, I want to try and help you move on from this place and to have your spirit be free.” She finally says, swallowing hard after. 

“I was determined on running away but that isn’t something I should do. No one should have to be stuck on Earth after they die, their souls should move onto something better and be at peace.”

The young woman jumped back, surprised by the angry words he blurted out at her. At first, she wasn’t sure what boundaries she might have stepped over, but it was probably a bad thing to of brought up the missing children, an incident of his own fault. Swallowing hard she takes one or two steps back, hands brought to her body, almost in defense.

“I-I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have even said anything about that..”

Edith had to poke and prod at her face near her eyes as if almost her eyes wouldn’t be there but, how could she see then if they weren’t? Some sort of panic began to settle in the pit of her stomach and she swallowed, body shaking. “Let me correct you, my foster father has BLUE eyes, and my mother had HAZEL eyes. But..” She trails off, something gnawing at her. 

“—Just leave me alone! Okay? Don’t talk about my family!”

The brunette haired girl blinks when he asked. DID she leave the door open? Was a question circulating in her OWN brain now. “I don’t think so, I usually make sure the doors are locked around my house pretty tight.”

The last thing she remembers is being in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria and the next was blood pooling around her, and a horrible wound on her body, but she wasn’t sure where at the time. Now she had awoken in the hospital with a start, but seeing the stranger only settled her nerves a little bit. Although they’ve never met before, she briefly remembers seeing his face before she blacked out again while in the building.

“I-I’m fine, really.” She manages to get out, breathing a bit hard but fixing herself to sit up just a bit against the soft pillows behind her.

From her cheeks to the tip of her ears she gets red from embarrassment on him saying something like that. Although she was twenty-three, the talk of anything dirty and lewd made her embarrassed and unsure how to really feel. A corpse in a spring lock suit, however? A big no. Edith covers her ears, like when she used to pretend not to hear anyone after getting into fits of anger.

That question made butterflies fill her belly, and her to easily be on edge from such a question. It felt like so long ago that she was a carefree and happy child, enjoying pizza, her friends, and her gifts while her parents made sure she was happy, even the other parents watching their other kids or well, not watching them. Edith doesn’t remember everything, but she is 90% sure that wouldn’t be possible, William would feel differently about her if that were the case, or vice versa, right? The idea makes her sick.

“I doubt it’s possible for something like that to of happened.” She frowns, looking easily hurt by such an accusation. “If it were that case there wouldn’t be anyone alive, or he’d act differently if he realized it was me.”  That was the truth, right? “Don’t go making up questions like that.”
