Master Smith shows great promise. An attentive student and leader among his class, he continues to shine in matters of both the mind and the blade. His words are carefully crafted and he bests most of those in his classes with his wits, always keeping them about him to keep everyone else on their toes. His sword and axe prove to be just as sharp and powerful as his wit. These are the tools that he uses most. He does well with ranged weapons although he does seem to overthink them just beyond the window at which to fire them, often times missing his hunt targets. Perhaps it is that once standing back from the situation, he falls too far into strategy. Truly he lives up to the greatness his father showed in his time as a Squire, which is all that has been asked of him since he was young.

Master Smith has taken both Master Knightley and Master Harrington under his wing and I believe it is for the betterment of all parties, as well as practice for when Master Smith will undoubtedly lead a team of his own choosing into missions unknown. He seems to be a calm voice of reason within the ranks. Unfortunately, it does on occasion distract him from the task at hand. If I didn't believe his friendship with the two others to be beneficial to the other two nor knew the close friendship of their fathers, I would've discouraged it. However, that being the case, we must make do with the small distractions.

If I were to sum up Master Smith's one fatal flaw is that he has been thrown off almost every horse in the stable and thus his riding scores have plummeted. If not for his ability to somehow come out unscathed in most cases, I would've thought those horses to be his undoing. Something about him unsettles the animals yet charms all who he meets. It is rather curious.

As he certainly will not be attempting to charm the savage beast, I have the utmost confidence in his abilities and fully endorse him for his Blood Hunt.

John Smith has subverted every single idea the Order once had of him. He continues to support his mates, Phillip and Thomas even through babies and puppies which ransack the very foundation of his mental stability. He continues to make alliances with those in town, Magick and non-Magick alike, strongest being with a woman which was a plot twist he'd never thought would happen.

He is a failure where his family is concerned. His current pursuits are to make sure no one else falls under the spell of cults like the Order again, graduate from Pride University, and manage to perfect one of those fancy cocktail tosses. Under the weight of these tasks and his workload, it is unsure when he'll be able to take a break, but it certainly won't be before it breaks him instead.
