Here's an inbox call whilst I'm at work

She wasn’t one for running, but being caught off guard by a knife wielding ex-fling wasn’t quite on her schedule for the day. He had caught her pretty good, twice in her back, once in her side before this wild stranger appeared and fought him off. She staggered down the hall, to where she could hear him calling out. The scent of blood was strong in the air, a mix from all, it would seem. “Don’t worry-” she offered a small smile as she finally entered the kitchen where he sat, the still body of ‘what was that guy’s name again?’ Laid out on the floor beside him “I don’t involve authorities.”

She focused on the bleeding stranger, not offering a second glance to the body on the floor. She stumbled her way to a chair beside him, taking a seat as she pressed her hand to her side. “Oh look, we have matching stab wounds.” A poor attempt at easing the tension in the air, “thank you… for uh-” she points to ‘Bill?…James maybe?’ “Saving me from him… it was very brave of you.” Her gaze lowers to his wound, “are you okay?”

“Are you there?” Jason called out softly. The pain in side was hard to ignore, the knife had been long forgotten on the floor. Whoever it was laid beside it, last breath drawn. “You’re safe now,” he offered looking for a place to sit take stock of how bad it was. Jason didn’t know who they were or why the body on the floor had been after them. They were stopped. That’s all that mattered as far as he was concerned, “I’d prefer to avoid calling the cops if that’s alright with you.” Part of him was convinced they were long gone- til he heard their feet, “I’m unarmed.”

The Judge

A white cat with a hefty head and an equally huge grin. Not taking much interest in the Batter's "mission," the Judge is however aware of the voice that occupies his head occasionally. If only he could find out just what that voice is... Previously residing in a place known only as Zone 0, the Judge lived in peace with his brother, Valérie. As the old saying goes, nothing good ever lasts. While he prefers to avoid violence, this feline will break out Competences that target the arteries and nerves of an opponent in push comes to shove.

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

🌸｡*ﾟ+. A LOT more graphics and fancy stuff floating around. Before it was more common for people to have just. Plain icons, no borders or anything-- no fancy filters, no answered ask banners, etc etc... But now it's like... almost a weird requirement as an RP blog that you must have some sort of graphics. Mobile banner and promo at the bare minimal. Answered Ask banners were born from when tumblr asks were broke, so we came up with a creative way to post asks again. But then they stayed after it was all fixed.

Which is perfectly fine! I'm just getting at... before it was more common to see the every day RP blog with bare bones plain stuff. Now, you would rarely find an RP blog without some sort of personalized banner for their mobile theme, or people don't take them seriously as an RP blog. And I don't mean like... just any graphic. I mean personalized, as in... it has their URL, their muse, and some sort of aesthetic to it.

So yeah, that's at least what I've observed!
