WORKS IN PROGRESS (JULY) ✅
Tumblr media
IT WAS ALWAYS YOU (100%) ✅ read here mick schumacher x smau Mick and Yn decided to stay friends after breaking off their two years relationship, but it seems like things weren't that broken. Maybe having the same friend circle and seeing each other all the time meant that things were never really over.
LOVE SIPS (100%) ✅ read here mick schumacher x smut Some bad moments leave the feeling that your whole day was destroyed. Sometimes, all you need to navigate life’s ups and downs is someone to remember you that bad events don’t equal a bad day, Yn decides on a very peculiar approach to remind herself that, and Mick, her boyfriend, is happy to help.
THE PHANTOM OF MISCOMMUNICATION (100%) ✅ read here lewis hamilton x angst Dating a professional athlete is hard, and it's even harder when you are famous too, and your schedules just keep crashing. how will their love beat their insecurities?
THE (UN)LUCKY ONE (100%) ✅ read here charles leclerc x angst Charles and Yn have a history back from when he was at alfa romeo, Yn used to be his PR assistant, and they were close to best friends. Now, years later, they are still friends, but Yn is Carlos’ assistant now, and she can help but root for her new friend and boss. Meanwhile, Charles is having trouble with no longer having her undying support all the time. He’s been through an unlucky season on the speedway, will he be unlucky in love too?
BANANA PANCAKES (100%) ✅ read here mick schumacher x fluff Mick is used to racing cars and living at high speed, but lazy rainy mornings with you are his favorite. Cuddling in bed, making banana pancakes, and listening to the rain fall down while swinging together on the front porch, no travel or circuit beats these moments.
GOD IS A WOMAN (100%) ✅ read here mick schumacher x fluff/suggestive Making out in bed never felt this deep and heart-stopping, but dating Mick and having him love you is a full experience of being a goddess. Your hips were his altar, and he would swear to everyone that God is a woman because you're it to him.
YOU CAN CALL ME OBSESSED (100%) ✅ read here mick schumacher x smut Everyone talks about how good it is to date someone who’s exactly like you, but Mick has been finding it hard to believe, especially when his girlfriend has the same sunshine energy as him. The problem? Too many friendly flirts around her. And though he’s not a jealous guy, he finds himself ready to praise you and prove to you that he’s the only one.

The Tour de France 🇫🇷 is taking place and the winner of stages 3, 8, and 12 is Biniam Girmay, the 24-year-old, from Eritrea! 🇪🇷
A hat trick is major and he continues to ride with power, but it's been his sprints that have turned Girmay into a superstar.
The Tour is steeped in history and Girmay is the first black African rider, and the only rider in this year's race, who continues to impress as he climbs his way to the top.
Unfortunately, cycling has been plagued with a lack of diversity, especially Africans, due to the costs of equipment, the lack of sponsors to cover training and travel expenses.
Needless to say, Girmay is opening the door for many more black Africans to follow.

Read -> Reading -> To-Read
Here's what's been in Beth's TBR pile lately!
Tumblr media
✅ Just Finished:
The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods
This magical novel is a love letter to books, readers, authors, libraries and bookshops. Traveling between 1922 and a modern timeline, Woods captivates the reader by weaving magic with reality. She builds extremely strong, passionate and complex women in Opaline, Martha and Madame Bowden while keeping in line with the events evolving around them. Small but special appearances by James Joyce and Ernest Hemingway will delight readers, as will locations in France, England and Ireland.
Last Call at the Local by Sarah Grunder Ruiz
A charming rom-com, especially perfect for March (set in Cobh)! Raine and Jack's charisma and connection will have readers chuckling and cheering. Jack has OCD and runs the LOCAL pub. Raine has recently dropped out of medical school, copes with ADHD and travels the world playing music. Full of lovable characters, readers will breeze through this novel and feel full-hearted after.
♾️ Currently Listening: Factory Girls by Michelle Gallen
Perfect match for viewers of series Derry Girls. Maeve Murray and her friends work in the local factory as they await the results of their exams and what they hope will be the start of their new lives—away from their small town and The Troubles.
🔮 To Read: We Don't Know Ourselves: A Personal History of Modern Ireland by Fintan O'Toole
I'm looking forward to reading this author's viewpoints on growing up in a changing Ireland. The prelude indicates a promising journey through his experiences.

Blurb: Guildergates (Guildergate)
At the dawn of the Age of Myths the Aekari first arrived in the local realms. Using their godly magics they shaped the realms to their whims and created many divine artifacts. The greatest of these artifacts were massive stone arches through which travel across the realms became possible. These portals would become known as the guildergates.
These guildergates quickly became essential for transportation and trade. For the first time travel between the local realms was possible. Even journeys within a single realm that would've taken months or years suddenly took seconds. Under the guidance of Aekari the peoples of the realms knew peace and prosperity.
Unfortunately it wouldn't last. When the Aekari fell into conflict amongst themselves during the Celestial Wars they dragged their subjects into the fray. The guildergates that were once used for peaceful means quickly were turned to tools of conquest. Armies poured from the gates directly into city centers. By the time the conflicts ended and those responsible for instigating such destruction were punished the Aekari were left weakened. The Aekari pulled a shroud over the Midrealm following the war and soon after they effectively disappeared.
In the aftermath the courts of the Old Fae, the first scholars of the Aekari, came to a decision. While their gods slumbered they would disable the guildergates to prevent the same scale of destruction from ever occurring again. For a time they quietly stood scattered across the realms as a testament of an age gone by. After a time their use became the things of myth and legends. Simply reduced to mysterious stone arches covered in the indecipherable runes of the gods.
[Another lil Guildergate break! All about the namesake of the project (^.^). This is by no means the gate’s entire history, but is the beginning. Anyways and always, hope that you had a lovely day, peace (^.^)v]

Ravenscourt Park & Chiswick House & Gardens|: Finding peace in London's secret gardens
Ravenscourt Park & Chiswick House & Gardens|: Finding peace in London's secret gardens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7GYhzdGMTw Join me for a peaceful journey through two of West London’s most serene locations—Ravenscourt Park and Chiswick House & Gardens. Wander with me through the tranquil paths of Ravenscourt, where early morning light illuminates nature’s subtle beauty: dew-kissed leaves, vibrant flowers, and playful squirrels gathering acorns. From there, I explore the elegant charm of Chiswick House & Gardens, with its timeless architecture, manicured lawns, and quiet reflections by the water. This vlog is a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and find moments of peace, even in the heart of a bustling city. Perfect for anyone seeking calm or inspiration through nature and history.
