Octavia is still silent, the nurse taking her leave promising an update whenever possible as Octavia finally asks the question that's been bouncing around in her head.

"....Who'd want to kill me?" Stella at least had made a few enemies being so long in the goetia, but Octavia? She can't think of anyone that'd want her dead, unless they just wanted to kill her because of her relation to her mom.

Marsha follows Octavia as the nurse takes her to a quiet part of the hospital. She is silent as she takes in the information. While she remains quiet, anger is bubbling underneath the surface. Not only was Stella poisoned but had Octavia eaten the seafood instead of ordering pizza...Via would've been poisioned to.

Marsha felt as her anger festered. She felt the urge to investigate this herself but she promised she'd be there for her girlfriend. She needed to let others deal with this while being there for Octavia.

When Octavia fell silent, Marsha spoke up. "S-So...whoever did this...w-wanted to kill both Stella and Octavia?" Her voice as strained, trying (and failing) to mask how angry she actually was. She wasn't angry at the hospital staff or Via...but more angry at the person who tried to do this. "...W-Would it be ok if...I stayed...with Octavia?"

Her head was still kinda reeling from her talk with Stella and all that it unveiled, but before she could press on further with the topic, she noticed that Marsha seemed...troubled for lack of a better word. "Are you alright?"

There's the natural concern and just a gut feeling that something happened. "We can talk later if you're not feeling well... you know I'm always here for you."

@lettherebemonsters sent ; Adam hated these birds, but...fuck....she was just a kid. So he sat by Octavia, for once, showing genuine emotion that wasn’t mocking. " Hey....you okay? I heard what happened to your mom..."

She didn't know how she felt about Adam approaching her, she certainly didn't have high opinions about Lute. However, the feeling of holding her mothers cold body while she almost died was haunting...tears form despite her efforts to hold them back.

She just shakes her head. For once in a very long time....she's scared and truly lost.
