Dread dripped down her spine like ice cold water upon the news; she calculated three days at the very maximum. Just enough to have a little change of scenery, food that actually had a taste and maybe a few conversations, before disappearing back to the desert where she came from. Karma could feel the gashes threatening to split open on her back, no no NO ; not yet.

“I have to speak to the Queen!” her voice urgent, not caring to conceal her terror. The thought of her power loose in a confined environment full of people was beyond devastating.
