not having free time and always worrying about the cameras following her was . . . common. it was something she got used to early on into her career. she knew better than to walk the streets as herself, because it would mean getting swarmed by others. and that would, in turn, cause chaos and panic that the bloodhounds would need to undo . . .

( and there was always some guilt to be felt when that happened )

but on the other hand, it's just as stifling having to walk around with a bodyguard that is . . . overly protective. they're just doing their jobs, she gets it, but that doesn't mean she has to like it.

all of this culminated into her picking up the art of disguise. an art that she's nearly perfected.. sneaking out on the town, nobody giving her a second glance . . . such a feeling was truly freeing. but, there were still those that could see through it.

❝ i guess that just means i'll need to change my disguise up for next time. don't want any of the bloodhounds catching whiff of me, you know ?? ❞ light laughter rings out as she speaks. ❝ i'm thinking of trying a new intellitron disguise for next time but . . . ❞ brows furrow, and she places a finger against her lips while in thought. ❝ what do you think ?? ❞

ah, how she'd like that . . . to simply allow herself to rest and take it easy. if only for a little while . . . so much had happened in such a short time period, it felt as though her life had done a 180. . .

❝ i'd like to do that, but . . . ❞ there was always a but, wasn't there ?? she presses a hand against her chest, sighing softly as she looked out towards the sky. ❝ given everything that's happened . . . would it really be okay . . . ?? ❞

would it not be . . . improper of her take a break while others were still working hard to fix the messes that her brother had caused ?? and even if she wasn't helping on that end . . .

. . . she still had to find him again.

much as she might like to, the guilt would surely eat her up inside if she allowed herself to rest . . .
