She laughed, bright and bubbly, and nodded her head. Being a little shit was sometimes a positive all around, and it often meant that she was able to earn little laughs. Grinning at Streber, she tilted her head to one side.

{ ♪ } -- She looked over at him in quiet surprise at the instruction. The date had been going well, and both of them had been having fun, so she certainly felt more inclined to do as he asked. Still, she really hoped he hadn't decided to get her a gift or something... While she wouldn't be upset or ungrateful, it would make her wish that she'd thought to bring something for him as well.

"Okay...? I'm trusting you not to do anything silly, Streber."

The light tease was more playful than anything, and she did as he asked and let her eyes fall shut. It seemed as if he took a second to confirm that her eyes were, indeed, closed and that she wasn't peeking. That was when she felt a hand on her cheek and her heart picked up its pace in her chest. It couldn't have been more than a few seconds, but she did feel him lean in and gently brush his lips against her own. Bella gasped a bit, partially in surprise at the kiss itself and partially because of the tingling electricity that shot through her.

She gently gripped the front of his shirt, not wanting him to pull back just yet. Taking a slow breath, she only hesitated for a second before pressing her lips more firmly against his. The kiss was still rather gentle, but certainly more firm than a barely-there brush of lips. The redhead pulled back after a moment, taking a slow breath to ease her racing heart.

{ ♪ } -- "I'll have you know that I positively adore cats and the more the better in my opinion. So I'd be happy to come by. Though, I don't wanna overload you with the medical terminology and whatnot."

She smiled softly, shrugging her shoulders. A lot of people, no matter how intelligent, could get confused if they were suddenly bombarded with a ton of terms and information from a subject they hadn't gone through themselves. Still, the offer was sweet.

"And, even if we don't study, I wouldn't mind just hanging out with you. Plus, now that I know that you have cats, you have no choice but to introduce me to them."

"Thanks it's nice to spend extra time with you too! I hope you can get a residency too and I wish you good luck on finals. I know how much of a pain in the ass they can be." While Streber was studying to be a support hero he also studied for an engineering degree as a back up plan if something ever happened on the job. While he's happy he got both the studying and finals for both were hell! "If you want I can help you study for finals at some point during my free time! We can even do it at my apartment if you don't mind a lot of cats."

She smiled softly, letting her chin rest in her hand as she listened to him vent about the day. The little jab was lighthearted, but the truth of it sat in the air. Humanity as a whole could be incredibly silly sometimes. His apology earned a wave of her hand and she grinned.

"I don't mind! It's good to get those thoughts and feelings out. I've been fine, y'know, just trying to survive my last set of finals in med school before I can try to get a residency. Hopefully Recovery Girl giving me a recommendation will help..."

Bella nodded her head then, giving a soft little chuckle.

"Y'know, it was just nice to spend a little extra time with you. So I'll happily spot you a cup of coffee or two."

"You'd think in a day and age where everyone has literal super powers, people would be careful with how they use them. Unfortunately we live in a day and age where five minutes social media clout makes people stupider with their quirks! God, I sound like a fucking boomer right now don't I?" After having to spend hours trying to get someone who had a transformation quirk, out of a drain Streber was more then a little cranky. Who the fuck turns themselves into a snake and gets into their drain pipe for tiktok clout of all things!? "I'm sorry for complaining, how have you been?
