so there's been things happening the last few days, both online and off, that have kinda thrown me askew. i don't feel great being here, or on discord really, and it's not a fun time.

as such, i'm probably gonna shift focus to drawing things and watching/reading things for a bit. i won't go so far as to say i'm on a hiatus, or even a semi-hiatus really, but activity may drop.

i'll still likely be around during my hours on the desk at work. at least until i can find something simple i'm able to do there without needing audio or an app to use since i can't use my phone on the desk.

no, i won't go into detail about what's been happening. please don't ask me or any friends of mine. the people involved are aware, and that's what matters. i'm not hurt, i'm not unsafe, i have no intention of harming myself or anyone else. i'm just feeling kinda anxious and wary of a lot of things.

essentially tumblr attempted to get rid of the notifications when you interact with your own posts but mucked it up and got rid of ALL reblogs. in general.

some people still see reblogs, but not everyone. so lots of people are shifting to thread tracker, @'ing people in replies since mentions still mostly work, and sending messages for responses.

one workaround that works for one thread at a time is subscribing to it via the 3 dot menu on the side of posts on DESKTOP ONLY. i haven't seen the option on mobile.

from what i can tell, you can only sub to one thread at a time. at least, i can only do one.

Bella is very obviously multiship! (I mean... I write enough ships that I feel like that's obvious)

I don't do ship crossover, meaning that I will not do any sort of cheating or love triangle plots. I don't like them, it's an icky feeling. Each ship is in its own universe, completely separate from any others. If it isn't specified, then Bella should be assumed single.

I try not to have more than 2 romantic ships with the same canon character. (On occasion, if a good friend muses that character and there's really clear chemistry I may make a singular exception, but it never goes to more than 3 EVER.) Each ship is individual to that particular iteration of that canon character. I do not overlap these ships. They are completely different people even if their basis is the same.

I don't "collect" ships, and my romantic ships are super important to me. I do put more effort in when I see that effort being reciprocated.

Romantic shipping is not my main priority here, but I do very much enjoy it! Platonic ships are JUST AS important to me as romantic, too. I'm willing to do antagonistic relationships, too, but those are hard bc bella just isn't very antagonistic. So... oops lol
