— HARUKA SAKURA | You were at his house, feeding him food and medicine to tend to his fever. He kept insisting that he was fine and was able to take care of himself, but you wouldn't budge no matter how much he argued back. Due to his sickened condition, his energy to complain was quickly drained out. In the end, he let you do your thing and even tuck him to bed. You watched him close his eyes, cool cloth placed on his forehead as his brows let loose and his breathing calming down. The sight made you feel slightly more at ease. Before deciding to leave, you placed a quick peck on his forehead and whispered, “Get well soon, sweetheart.” His fever rose higher the next day.

— HAYATO SUO | He was always the one to initiate something unexpected, which made you determined to get back at him for once. You walked home with him holding an umbrella under the rain, and you saw how he was focused on the road. Seeing the clear opportunity, you went on your tippy toes and squeezed your eyes shut, kissing his cheek before looking away flustered. His eyes went wide for a moment, before smiling and retorting, “My, my. I see you've gotten quite bold, my dear.” Although he was smooth with it, he internally admitted your attempt in catching him off guard was successful.

— REN KAJI | A pout has been tugging his lips all morning. Ever since you came along with him on patrol, you felt the grumpy aura he emitted despite him acting all nonchalant with it. Little did you know that he was sulking. When he came to pick you up this morning, he reached out a hand to hold yours when you turned back to retrieve something; when he considered to lend you his headphones, you bumped into Sakura and the gang; when he reattempted to hold your hand, Lisa came jumping into your arms. He was fuming. Thankfully, at the end of the day, you realized. “Ren?” He looked at you silently, waiting for you to continue as he rolled the sucker in his mouth. “Can you take the candy out real quick, please?” He was confused, but complied either way. With that, you leaned in and pressed a chaste kiss on his lips, before pulling back with a fond smile. He was confused yet again, but this time, he wrapped his arms around your waist and nuzzled into the crook of your neck, relishing in the feeling of finally being able to hold you.

— HAJIME UMEMIYA | Today was a gardening date, where you'd help him out with his garden at the rooftop. Like usual, he proudly exclaims how the plants have grown fast and healthy. It was like seeing a proud father boasting about his children. His smile when he held up two pots of tomatoes was brighter than the sun that was shining upon the both of you, and it was endearing to the point where you couldn't help it anymore. You quickly cupped his face and pressed your lips against his before pulling back and saying, “My sweet, gardener boyfriend.” He immediately placed down the pots, almost dropping them before swooping you up in his arms and twirling you in the air.

— JO TOGAME | You looked up at the sky, hearing cracks of fire as it bloomed into colorful sparks. After strolling through stalls and winning prizes, the festival's main occasion finally made its arrival. Turning to your boyfriend next to you, you tugged at his sleeve and called out to him quietly, “Jo…” gesturing that you had something to say. Just as he leaned down to listen, you gently pulled his face and connected your lips to his. He didn't see that coming, but he wasn't going to complain as he wasted no time and melted into the kiss– pulling you closer by the waist and savoring this sweet moment under the flashing fireworks that lit up the sky above.

— MITSUKI KIRYU | Nothing wrong with taking a break from your small screen gadgets and entertain yourself with something slightly more traditional. Other than the games on his phone, Kiryu was surprisingly good at the ones at the arcade as well. From basketball toss to Pac-Man, you both competed on who could earn the most tickets. Of course, he was taking the lead. He was currently focused on the spinning light, calculating the right moment to press the button and hit the jackpot. When suddenly you leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, causing him to lose focus and accidentally push down the button, missing the awaited jackpot. “Hey, that was cheating.” He still won in the end, but gave his tickets to you anyway.

— CHIKA TAKIISHI | He always looked so aloof– like there were no literal fucks he'd seriously give, and everything others say were just a broken TV's buzzing. Oddly enough, you found that trait to be adorable. Sometimes, you find yourself gazing and staring at his majestic self as he looks off into somewhere or nowhere, holding the familiar empty gaze you've grown used to. He was like an innocent, introverted child during a family gathering– the ones who choose to space off and act cold to those who tried to approach or tease him. The sight was so irresistibly cute, you couldn't help yourself but to squeeze his cheeks between your palms and press a quick kiss on his cheek. “You're so CUTE!” He remained unfazed and gave no reaction, but slithered an arm around your waist and pulled you closer.

— AKIHIKO NIREI | Seeing and hearing him yap about the things he took interest in has always been a trait of his that you found endearing. And right now, you couldn't help but marvel at the way he was so passionate about something to the point of writing it down in his notebook. You listened to it all– nodding and throwing in responses here and there to keep the conversation going. In the middle of his babbling, you leaned forward and gave a quick peck on his forehead. “And then what happened?” you asked innocently afterwards like it was nothing. Meanwhile he was left a stuttering, blushing, and questioning mess of a nerd.

Junior: Ugh, I still don’t feel 100% back yet after all that lying around…

Dino: We didn’t do anything for that entire time after all, but there’s no need to rush. I’m sure it’ll all come back eventually.

Junior: Ughh… I don’t get how Keith is so fast on his feet when he’s always slacking off…

Dino: Well, Keith is a pretty strategic guy. By conserving his energy, he can maximize his efforts using the least amount of work possible.

Junior: That’s insane…

Junior: Well, whatever. I’ll just start off with some jogging to get back into it.

Dino: That sounds like fun. I’ll join you.

Junior: Hey Shitty DJ, if you’re free, you should join us.

Faith: Thanks, but no thanks. We just got done with sparring.

The studio where Ritsuka and the band had practiced for a long time was empty at the moment; you couldn’t hear Akihiko’s strange jokes, you didn’t feel the calm presence of Mafuyu, you didn’t see Nakayama who always well dressed. Instead it was just you and your boyfriend rehearsing new songs, getting into conversation with you from time to time. So you sat across from him, carefully watching him play the electric guitar. Sometimes you asked the boy a quick question about music, and sometimes you asked him out of curiosity if he was tired or hungry – in case of the latter need, you wanted to take out the bento prepared for the two of you and a paper bag with sweet buns with cottage cheese that you bought on your way to meet a high school student.

However, Ritsuka didn’t seem to be tired or hungry right now. His face was calm, his eyes was focused, his heart beating at a steady rate and his breathing was calm. He looked really good, you could also say, really manly. You liked the sight and you were really delighted that Uenoyama became interested in you more than half a year ago and was the first to ask about being in a relationship.

“... What are you thinking about, Y/N?” A man’s voice pulled you out of a small trance, and you only blinked your eyes a few times, smiling at the young man.

“About you, about us.” You answered truthfully, which made the boy only chuckle.

“I see.”

— Haruka Sakura often denies it, but he craves for your touch. When he felt how warm it was to be embraced by you, how good it felt when you rubbed his head – he couldn't help but long for more. He's never good with physical touch and didn't know the comfort of receiving it, given how no one ever provided him such privilege in the past. Until you came to his life and started sprinkling him with such blessings, he considered allowing himself to indulge and let his guard down for once.

— Hajime Umemiya is soft spoken almost no matter the situation. He'd talk to you in the gentlest tone that leaves your heart swooning and melting, his voice alone able to bring you a sense of reassurance and ease. Even if he was experiencing negative emotions, never will he raise his voice at you. Instead choosing to convey his discomfort and issues through patience and a slow approach, making sure not to scare you and start an argument. And thankfully in the end, all disagreements in your relationship end in harmony and full understanding <3

— Jo Togame very much enjoys the idea of lazy dates. Sleeping in and just cuddling with you in bed are enough ways for him to spend time with you. It's ten times better if it was raining and the atmosphere became chilly– his urge to snuggle up under the sheets with you reaching its peak point. You both would order takeout instead of going through the hassle of cooking, and he'd occasionally ask you to feed him as he wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder from behind. Especially after a rough fight prior, resting in your embrace made him feel like he was healing and recharging faster.

— Ren Kaji cares more than he shows himself to be. Despite the nonchalant and aloof exterior he puts on, he's willing to go through the effort especially when it comes to you. He pays attention to your likes and dislikes, going out of his way to satisfy your wants and needs. Once, you rambled on about how badly you wanted to attend an upcoming festival but couldn't due to school work. That afternoon, you came home to a group of Furin boys standing outside your door along with Kaji, claiming to help you finish whatever homework you had to free your time for the festival.

— Mitsuki Kiryu goes through a healthcare routine to take good care of himself. And what better way to do that routine if not with someone you love and adore? He'd often bring you to his house to do his skincare with you as well as his haircare; introducing you to products that are more suitable for you and teaching you ways to take care of both your skin and hair. If you're already familiar with all of it, you'd trade products and try each other's healthcare routine while playing video games together.

— Hayato Suo always keeps his consumption at bay, considering his undergoing diet. Therefore, he'd often be in the giving end when it comes to sharing food with you. He'll give you his chicken skin when eating fast food, he'll hand you his bread that was given by the bakery. But his only exception– is if the food was made by you. He may restrict the amount of calories he consumes, but whenever you give him a homemade goodie– either baked or heavy meals in general –he wouldn't ever give it away. He knows the effort and love you put into making it, he knows the hard work you went through in preparing such delicacies. For that, he'll always eat whatever you made, no matter the amount of calories it contained.

“for the last time, you’re not standing up outta the sunroof.”

you grumbled to yourself, borderline whining as you huff “I haven’t even said anythin’, ren.”

“guess I just know you that well.” yes and no. he does know you like the back of his hand. but even if he didn’t, you’ve asked 7 times in the past 7 minutes, and have attempted it twice. so knowing you isn’t that important in figuring out what you’re trying to ask.

“’ren, yanno you’re really pretty?~” you repeat after a moment, and he huffs a laugh at your drunken state in which you seem to have forgotten you were upset with him a minute ago. "really really."

“am I now?” he’s glancing over at you from the corner of his eye as he drives you home from a night out for your friends engagement party. you’re slumped in the passenger seat, leaning on your side to face him with your face flushed and a dopey grin curled across your face.

you nod lazily, resting your face in the palm of your hand, “mhm! could look at y’ foreverrr.”

he’s grinning as he turns to you when the light goes red, handing you the water bottle out of the cup holder, “you’re a real sappy drunk, yanno?”

“whaaat? I can’t love on my boyfriend? hmmm? ‘s it a c-crime?” you slur your words and he watch as you lift your hand, clumsily patting his face.

“sure you can. would help if you remembered it when you sobered up though,” he mumbles, kissing your palm “you’re also a cute drunk.”

“of course I am, look at me,” your giggle bubbles out and in a second you’re leaning up and reaching forward to turn the rear view mirror towards you. his hands shoot out to put your hands back in your lap, fixing his rear view and when the light turns green he’s driving again, he's pulling your sun visor down to distract you by looking at yourself so he can focus on the road.

or, at least that’s what he thought it would do. but now your focus is on the dog outside on the sidewalk, with half your body somehow already halfway out the window while waving and calling out for the dog. he doesn’t even understand how its physically possible to move positions that fast when you’re not inebriated, let alone drunk off your ass.

“oh god, babe- no, that’s it,” his hand catches – barely – onto the back of your dress and tugs you as gently as he can while trying to drive. grumbling and ignoring your complaints of “re-ren! the dog ‘s leavinn, ren- yer makin me miss ‘im- her? them- rennnnn, lemme go!”

“and let you fall out the window? yeah, no thank you.” he pulls over into a convenience store parking lot, steering easily with one hand on the wheel and one on your waist as he holds you in place. once parked, he’s turning to face you, unbuckling his seatbelt and yours, “c’mon, to the back you get. lets go baby.”

“nuh uhhhhhh,” you whine, throwing your head back and pouting. “you said I didn’t gotta this time, ren. don’t wanna.”

“yeah and that was also before you tried jumping out the window for a random dog.”

“y’made me miss ‘em!” this now has you crossing your arms and slumping further into your seat as your eyes flutter shut, “’m no’ movin, ren. Yer mean.”

“oh yeah? thought I was pretty? what happened to that?”

“was before you took me f-from the dog. no’ pretty no more.”

“ah, ‘course. i’ll remember to let you jump out the window next time,” he’s grinning as you nod, amused and brushing the stray hairs from your face as you both sit in the car under red and blue florescent lights. your giggle as he kisses your forehead has his smile growing as he huffs out a laugh.

he knew he shouldn’t have given in when you asked to sit in the front. he also knows he can almost never say no to you when you pout ‘n flutter your eyes up at him. he was in a hurry to get you home before, get you home and comfortable and in bed with a bucket by your side. but now he can’t really be bothered. not when you look so peaceful, at peace with him. it’s all he’s ever really wanted. you, happy, content. with him.

he was always the thrill seeker, wanting new highs and adrenaline pumping through his veins. the sound of his blood pumping, loud as a drum in his ears never failed to have him excited. its what he’s always known for himself, running from one thing to the next with his friends, having his heart thudding in his chest so loud you could practically hear it.

but he met you, and his world tilted on its axis. he remembers how he tormented and teased you relentlessly while trying to get you to notice him when you first met. putting things out of reach, flustering you to no end – though, if anything, he was just as flustered, he’d just been better at hiding it. he came by your place one night, bruised and battered after yet another fight he had gotten himself into. up till then it had just been a silly crush, but the way you fussed over him and gently bandaged his cuts and scrapes, the tenderness in your hands, the care. to then hit him upside the head, scolding him for being reckless again and have him go sleep on the couch – “its 2 in the morning, just go to sleep, eren” - ; it did something to him, tugged his heart in a direction nothing ever had before. and when he starts chasing this new beating in his chest in favour of the adrenaline highs, he curses himself for not finding you sooner because whatever drug you are is far better than anything that he’s ever come across before, and he doubts he’ll find anything like it again – anyone like you again.

before he knew it he was swapping 1 toothbrush holder for a dual, buying sets of mugs instead of random single ones, buying extra pillows, subconsciously cleaning out his bathroom to leave one drawer empty – “hmm? oh, yeah I never used that one, you can dump your shit in there if you want.” before he knew it you had crept in and woven your way into almost every nook and cranny of his life, leaving behind a trail of something so uniquely you that his heart swells in his chest seeing such domestic things around his tiny apartment. he cant remembers how he got by before you came and made yourself such a fixed part of his life but now that he knows this life with you, he can’t bear the thought of every loosing it. loosing his home.

your eyes flutter open after a little while, and you grin up at him. he’s pinching your cheek before you can protest, smirking half-heartedly, “you done bein’ upset with me?”

“mmmm, mhmm.” you nod into his hand, “can’t b’mad at y’ when y’r so pretty.”

even after so many years, he’s never really prepared for when you compliment him so earnestly. he’s thankful for the darkness in the car and your drunken state when his face heats up, ears going pink. “c’mon baby, lets go lay you in the back, yeah?” he says as he unbuckles his seat belt to help you into the backseat.

“wha- no’ goin, ren. nuh-uh, stayin wi’you. up here” he feels your hand curl into the back of his tshirt as he’s halfway out the car door.

don’t fold, don’t fold, don’t fold. but when he turns to you and your lips are quivering as you hold his arm properly, he sighs. why would he even think he could say no to you? it was ridiculous, really. “alright, alright. how ‘bout I sit back there with you, huh?”

this has you nodding, clumsily crawling over the console only to trip and stumble into the seat, sending you into a fit of giggles that warms erens heart probably more than the booze in your system warms your own.

he leans his arm over the passenger seat to look back at you, taking his hair out of the bun it was in to tie your own hair back with it for you, “why don’t I get you a snack, hmm? how’s that sound hmm?”

“mhmm, yes please ‘ren. skittles,” you giggle before narrowing your eyes at him “gotta pay up for m-makin me miss the puppy.”

he raises a brow at you through the rear-view mirror as he turns the car off, “thought I was forgiven. yanno, cuz im so pretty ‘n all?”

you shaking your head is all the answer he gets before you slump against the car window. his eyes stay on you for a moment, before he gets up and locks the car. but before he gets out he hears you mumble sleepily.

“thank y’ ‘ren. i love you.”

yeah, even if you wouldn’t remember this in the morning, he wouldn’t give this up for anything in the world.

“i love you too.”
