ever since she was a young maiden, her charms seemed to be almost supernatural -- the way she could seemingly bend any man who looked her way to her will

but he still could not resist amira calainon and when she refused to go to his bed, except as his wife, roderick saw no reason why he could not have more than one

while amira is not a witch in the way most people might believe, she is well aware of the invisible supernatural realm where gods and monsters resides (she learned a great deal from her grandmother, who was, indeed, a witch)

at the end of the day, amira will do whatever it takes to get what she wants

she promised roderick a son when she married him -- but she was too late. both his first and third wife had children before she brought edmund into the world, but she believes her son has a claim as the eldest son born to his second wife

is constantly advocating for her son to her husband

also it is clear to everyone that she and marian will both stop at nothing to see their own son on the throne one day

may or may not have tried to kill marian's sons at one point

is fairly confident that she will eventually convince her husband to do things her way

if not, she may just call upon a demon to wipe all of them out ....

He does not seek competition, nor does he seem to show any interest in the throne himself, but his wisdom and knowledge of all the kingdom's affair seem to imply that he's holding some secret close to his chest.

Whilst looking docile and unassuming on the exterior, Kang Yeosang earned his crest by his own hand. Some consider his beauty to be lethal, whereas others claim it's merely his hunting prowess that makes him so good at his job. There remains much mystery surrounding the prince, however, as he comes from the peaceful region of Kodachi where strife is seemingly nonexistent, making his more deadly skills all the more nefarious.

His home region of Mizubitashi has been riddled with strife and revolts since well before he earned his title, and the health issues surrounding his father have put him in charge of the region at an early age. He bears his crest with pride, assuming all the qualities that hawks symbolize, and rules with a sharp eye and even sharper tongue.

Even though Prince San is the older of the two Choi sons, he is not geared for the throne in any regard on account of his parents deciding to pass that duty onto their second child. In lieu of working towards taking the throne, San instead fills his time at the strategist table, providing his younger brother with whatever plans necessary to ensure his safety. Choi San is a loyal prince, and an even more dedicated brother despite having his chance at the throne taken from him.

When conflict arises in the lands of Eienshimo, Prince Jongho is the first on the frontlines, taking care of any insurrection with a cruel but swift strike of his sword and his older brother at his side always.

How do I summarize my worst fucking character of all time? Like this, I guess.

Devlin Clery as we know and hate him didn’t exist until about 10 years ago. Before then he was basically a ghost in the system and no one ever questioned it because he managed to avoid any limelight along with its accompanied speculation.

From what most people can glean through multiple encounters with this slippery marionette of Chicago, he’s probably older than he looks and came from a less than idyllic home life a long, long time ago. Something about his family never thinking much of him and an innate spitefulness to prove them right in the absolute worst of ways.

His reasons for aligning with the Bratva are less obscure and more rooted in selfish desire rather than any act of self-preservation. Dev doesn’t care much for staying alive, he just wants to be rich and powerful when he goes out–– however that might be, so long as it’s interesting.

No, but seriously. He has no desire to grow old and he’s seen enough. Just pew pew him please, he’s begging.

Dominik Vronsky has been a “friend” for years (term used loosely because Dev would never admit to having one) with a face and last name just perfect enough to make a sizable claim in Chicago. While not the direct heir to his family’s empire, there aren’t rules against building your own and some thrones are more traditional: government.

He stays out of the public relations side of their campaign for the most part and allows another to be the managerial face while pulling strings and donors from the inside. Their cause has drawn in a number of people who either owe the family or can be strong-armed enough into cooperating.

The duo have every intention of gaining this imperative seat for the Bratva and hold no qualms at tearing down anyone who stands in the way of their ambition. Life’s a game and Devlin plays to win.

Never without a suit or depressingly expensive piece of clothing, if you come to him in crocs please know he’ll scalp you on sight.

An art aficionado! He lowkey loves traditional art and boasts a miniature gallery at his home that he’s quite fond of, though most people aren’t privy to it.
