anytime they visit kaede, he has to do a few laps around the edge of the village. shippo loves making fun of him for doing it because the annoying kit knows WHY he does it. have there been any demons to bother the thriving village since he started his patrolling? no? well, he can shut the fu- ears flicker backward at the sound of kagome yelling his name.

he takes a LEAP in the direction of kaede's hut and sprints. it takes him but a few seconds to make it to the old priestess' home. he speeds past kagome, not even caring to say his thanks, and grabs one of the resting cups of noodles. the noodles are scalding his tongue, but that doesn't stop him from shoving the delicious, delicacy into his mouth.
