MAKA IS BARRELING INTO CRONA'S ROOM! She has to stop and catch her breath for a moment, bending to her knees and panting- did she run all the way here?

"Crona!" She exclaims, smiling giddily, "I found matching halloween costumes for us! Looklooklook," she fishes around in the crinkly halloween store bag she brought with her. There are two costumes! An angel and a devil. She holds the angel out to them.

"I thought it'd be fun to try trick or treating when the time comes! I don't think you would have done that before?" / maka plumuses. ^_^

crona startles, yiping out a "aieeuu?", but it's no bother—especially since it's maka who came to get their attention. they pull a brush away from their lower eyelid, hand jittery but thankful they didn't poke something out... nail polish can wait, it seems.

"m-maka...!" they huff laughlike under their breath, smiling at her. then, at the costumes. new clothes for school? no, apparently not.

a blink. they tilt their head a bit. "trick-or-treating? halloween...? um." a modest scratch at their scalp, eyes down at maka's arm. "you're right... i didn't. w-what is it?"

(and ragnarok, peeking ravenously over their shoulder, adds: "is it tasty?! food or we're out!")
