How does hope feel about her father and the things he did in his life?

* when hope was younger , it was difficult for her to reconcile that her dad could be himself in the way she understands and a monster at the same time , but as an adult ( especially when she becomes the tribrid ) she gets it and can come to forgive it all a lot easier than when she was a kid . and honestly ? no matter what she sees of her father , she will always love him ...

* the thing with my portrayal of hope is that she never stayed in mystic falls for long , she got to grow up with her family and she wasn't pretty much forced into a martyr/hero role like legacies canon , she wasn't forced to suppress the darkest parts of herself bc she never remained under the care of alaric and sbs but rather she was taught to balance the dark with the light , taught to harness that very power . she was never pushed into being a savior but rather guided to be the ruler of her city , her home , HER REAL HOME , where she always belonged

how do you need to be touched ?

cautiously.

your teeth are bared, as they have been, your jaw aching for so long as growls slip free. you always have to defend yourself. you lash out in fear. you need someone who does not shrink back... a hand falling slowly to your shoulder, however briefly, in a reminder that you do not have to lunge. there is no danger here, now.

How in touch is hope with her norse family roots? Does she follow the havamal teachings? The norse Vanir? Does she believe in Vahalla? If not is she interested in learning?

* ... hope is fairly in touch with her norse roots , though admittedly she always feels she doesn't know enough . she does try to follow havamal and has a strong appreciation for the wisdom of odin , and adheres to nordic paganism mostly . the tribrid does in her own way believe in valhalla , but knows in her heart that it will forever be out of her reach ( for obvious reasons ) / from an out of character standpoint , i'll admit i'm not super well versed in viking religion but i try to learn and incorporate as much as i can , because it's an important aspect of my portrayal of hope ...

* i think that for hope , her biggest regret is not being able to save the people she has lost along the way

what type of anger do you have ?

seething rage

all you see is red. you're not too loud, but you don't make your anger silent either. you'd never tell them you're angry, but their friends will whisper in their ear about you. if they tried to come and talk to you, you'd probably yell at them. you hate them with everything you are.

the rebel.

you were probably made painfully aware of the reality of the world at an early age. this might have left you a bit jaded, but it mostly has made you angry. why do things have to be this way? is there really no way to change things, or are people just afraid to do so? you’re very stubborn and determined, sometimes too stubborn for your own good. don’t forget that your way isn’t the only way, be open to discussion. your heart’s in the right place though, and i admire your spirit. the world always needs more people like you, that’s how the course of history keeps on rolling. remember, even small changes can do so much for the lives of others.

* while hope is not immune to things such as the infamous dagger or a witch's spell , their effects are not as long lasting especially as full fledged tribrid ... for instance , a basic ad sonum spell will only last a few moments

* you guys ready to be emotional ? alright ! hot take : first of her kind , last of her line . hope is the one and only tribrid , and the single and last of niklaus' branch of the mikaelson family tree . before hope activated her vampire side she wanted to perhaps have children someday at least it wasn't entirely out of the question but afterwards something had changed for her , something fundamental and deep within ... and while she's considered undead ( and unable to procreate this way , nature's own attempt at safeguarding the balance by this ) . she knows enough fertility magic to get around that but she elects not to , but with that being said she loves the vampires she sires with the same vigor and passion as a mother would a child .

THE BETRAYAL

you die at the hands of the person you love most. maybe there are tears in their eyes as they drive the sword into your chest, maybe there is none. there are certainly tears in yours. your mouth will open to ask 'why' only to spit blood instead. you will die never knowing if they loved you at all, wondering if you could've done something to prevent this, or if it was always going to end this way.
