bio 

Second to last in a family of six girls, Romilda was raised by her four older sisters. Each of them instilling their own unique take on the world around them unto their little sister. From a young age she learned what she wanted to be like and what she didn’t want to be like. She watched each and every one of her sisters go through heartbreak and their own version of the end of the world as they knew it. By the age of ten, Romilda knew what it felt like to have her heart broken both by family and by other boys. Her parents were the wizarding world’s equivalent of high school sweethearts. Having her oldest sister, Gigi, at the tender age of sixteen. Then Tatum a couple of years after that and a year later Vivian was born. Romilda came three years later and everything was fine for a long time after that. On the surface they looked like the quant and the cutest little family. But behind closed doors they were far from. 

When she was six, she could hear her parents fighting and slamming cabinet doors over the sounds of her sister’s cries from another broken heart. And by the time she was ten, her dad stopped coming around all together and it was just her mom and her sisters. On her eleventh birthday she learned why when her mother didn’t show up to her birthday party. Her sisters tried to hide it from her but she overheard them talking about how they couldn’t believe the reason their dad left was that their mom had had an affair and was now bringing their new sister into the world. Her mom hadn’t even asked whether or not she had gotten her acceptance letter into the school or not that day. But Romilda had and it was Gigi who took her in and raised her from that point on.

It was Gigi, who was not much older than she was, took her to get everything she would need for school and congratulated her on being placed into Gryffindor. Who congratulated her on every accomplishment she ever made and who got her her first pet; an orange cat, she affectionately named Episkey. Because a cat’s purr is supposed to be healing so maybe he could help heal the broken pieces inside of her.

As time went on, Romilda made a name for herself. Sure, she was lovesick and yearned to be loved and for the kind of love you only read about. But didn’t everyone? She wanted to show her sisters that it did exist out there somewhere. She saw the best in people where she shouldn’t and stood her own. Showed no fear even when she was full of it. Romilda was ruthless. Sort of. At least she tried to be and if she could fake it until she made it then what couldn’t she do?
