☩ — IT WAS A GOOD THING SHE HAD QUICK REFLEXES, free hand reaching up to catch the object that was thrown towards her (snatching it with ease), otherwise she would have gotten a face full of what she believe to be an... onion ring? Now who in god's name thought throwing food, an onion ring no less, was a good idea? First off, the thing didn't even fly that great due to there being a hole in the middle... because it certainly wasn't a frisbee. Second off, it was extremely salty and all that salt wasn't good for one's skin — she's already older than most people within the BSAA, she didn't need something gross to make her look even older. "Hey, hey! You there," she calls out rather loudly to the other without much concern for how things would go, "stop throwing food at people! It isn't a toy nor is it a polite thing to do. If you aren't going to eat it, give it to someone who hasn't eaten."

What is your opinion of Dickson, Philis?

☩ — “Dick’s a good boy, a little strange at times, especially when he tries to make badly timed jokes or seems to never stop smiling even when a situation doesn’t call for it, but he’s still a good boy regardless. Not once have I ever had a problem with him.” She takes a moment to take a puff of her cigarette, inhaling the substance for a few seconds before lifting her head and finally exhaling, silently watching as the smoke swirled around within air. “I’ve known Dick for quite a few years now, met him when he was still pretty young to be completely honest. He was still just as friendly and talkative, but back then he seemed a bit more... reserved? He took longer to initiate conversations and interact with others, almost as if... he was afraid of them, I suppose?“ She had a pretty good memory, remembered things from way back when she was still an extremely young child in truth, thus why she could specifically recall exactly how Dickson had behaved. “I know that he hasn’t had the greatest childhood from the small bits he’s told me, such as being bullied by the servants of the Simmons estate and by his own grandfather, but aside from that, I can’t say that I know him as well as I would like.”

☩ — There’s a sudden unexpected pause after she finishes her sentence, almost as if she was lost in thought. Perhaps deep down she wished that she had tried to pry further into the young man’s life in attempt to get to know him more than she did today? Perhaps that was on of the regrets she’d never be able to get rid of? “Regardless of how well I know him, I still believe that he’s a good person. He tries his best to fit in with everyone else despite how most treat him, he does good work and never complains about his tasks, not to mention he’s always the first person to offer himself up for the more dangerous missions, so it’s apparent that he tries to look out for his teammates as well.“ She takes one last puff of her cigarette before tossing it onto the pavement, making sure to thoroughly crush it beneath her black boot. “He’s like the son I never had and I’ll do damn near anything to protect him.”
