YANDERE!ALPHA!BAJI
alpha baji is a complete menace to anyone foreign to the both of you.
he doesn't let you out of his sight and he'd like it best if you could stay still somewhere he can watch over you.
anyone who is allowed to go near you has passed baji's approval, if not, expect a few limbs torn apart. they just had to listen.
he doesn't joke around when it comes to your protection, and you should act right if you don't want to meet one of his punishments.
considering his aggressiveness when he interacts with others, you would expect something similar for you. but he's actually a big sweetheart, although he won't actively show it. but you can be sure to never receive any physical punishment from him.
you're his beloved omega, fragile and kind, his role is to protect you obviously, he wouldn't go against his own instincts & inflict you pain. he would rather die.
not a big surprise but you can't go anywhere without his scent on you. his pheromones are so strong it drives off any curious alphas.
baji is patient but he needs his bite on your neck, it's an alpha thing. he can't consider you his if you're not even claimed by him in that way. that's why he's sinking his teeth into your skin the first day of your relationship. no wasted time with baji!
he knows you're the one so he doesn't need any more time to think and wonder if that's the right move. he knows it is.
baji didn't fall for you instantly unlike most yandere. he helped you out during a delicate situation and ended up walking you home at night for safety reasons. he got curious about you, your soft speech, sweet gestures along with your smell he would spray himself with if it was a perfume.
all of this beckoned him to follow you home when he came across you a few days after first meeting you. he remembered how a group of alphas cornered you into a dark alley and this new feeling ordered him to make sure you got home safe tonight as well.
he didn't lose time making a move and befriending you before courting you for real.
scented plushies, necklaces with a small piece of clothing that smells just like him inside a locket, things that remind him of you like flowers or sweet food like cupcakes and fruits... he's one to make you wear his sweaters that he wore all day later in the relationship, he desperately needs his scent on you.
baji was always so stoic and seemed so sure of himself you couldn't help but let this sensation of pure peace and safety take over you.
whereas, he saw you as something delicate who needed to be protected and looked after. he was so used to hang out with other alphas, fighting alongside them and giving harsh slaps as hellos. he couldn't comprehend how omegas were so weak compared to him. your eyes were so pure, an innocence in your scent told him you only ever acted kindly and in consideration of others. he was fascinated and enamored.
he also is really lucid with your feelings, he's not delusional and acting like you're so in tune with how he's feeling. he's aware that while he has a sense of purpose when you're by his side, it isn't reciprocated by you.
it's not that he doesn't care about your feelings, it's more like a "she needs more time". he loves you a lot, he really does, that's why he tries as much as possible to not come off as overbearing and overwhelming.
he'll scent you slowly and softly, making sure you associate his touch with something positive to teach you to long for his affection.
as I said he's patient, and smart, he won't rush things in fear of messing up everything. one wrong move, a slight negative change in his voice while he talks to you, a harsh gesture that could be misinterpreted, and all that trust he so carefully built up will collapse because of his behaviour.
he wouldn't let that happen, so of course he's always being extra cautious and adopts a very welcoming and reassuring approach.
you have no reason to feel threaten, that's why when he eventually starts locking you up inside his house : you don't really say a thing, you've grown too dependent on him.
you find yourself lucky to have an alpha such as baji, who would tear anybody's throat just for you but gently cradles you in his arms when he's in your nest.
he loves it when you asks for his permission to do anything you think he might disapprove. knowing your place saves him the trouble of lecturing you and ruining the mood.
he'll make you wear a collar if you seem too adamant about listening to him. on some occasions when he's particularly tired or irritated, he might scare you into obeying him, but just so you know he'll never actually be true to his threats.
when you're in heat, you can be 100% sure he'll be at your side. your heats trigger his rut so expect double trouble : while he has some self control around you and acts as carefully as he can, the fog in his brain when his mind is solely focused on breeding you can make him quite demanding.
your house will reek alpha pheromones for a few days, other people literally running away once they as much as catch a sniff from under your door. the smell is so strong it's impossible not to notice it if you pass in front of it.
he gets extra protective when you're in heat, so you'll never be leaving the nest and you'll obey to whatever he says, because he's your alpha and he knows better, especially when you're this vulnerable and incapable of taking care of yourself.
forces you to lay still under him while he pounds into you with full force. he covers you with musky pheromones and others displays of dominance that you need to accept. and you do, the heat making you way more docile than usual.
he's biting and licking your neck the whole time, leaving it completely swollen and red from all the marking at the end of his rut. he doesn't feel bad about it afterwards, it's only natural as your alpha that he marks what's his.
as sweet as he is, he's a very controlling alpha. everything you do needs his approval. there's this power imbalance between you where baji clearly has the upper hand, he's the one who decides and you're the one who follows.
you have a tracker on your phone (if he even lets you have a phone), he chained you the first weeks after locking you up not wanting to see you escape and sometimes remind you of his clear dominance by making you feel dumb & dehumanizing you. he wants you to understand that you need baji as much as he needs you. you're an omega and having an alpha such as baji by your side is an accomplishment in itself. that's how you're supposed to feel. and you will in a few months, because baji will make sure you become unable to function properly without him.
he'll feel so satisfied when you finally recognize him as your alpha. he wants to reward you for being so good to him!
the rare times you both go out, you're always surprised how everybody seems to cower away from the both of you. you know baji looks and is threatening, you know what he's capable of and what reputation he has, but still, it sometimes feels a bit weird. you're not dumb enough to not notice the subtle glares and literal warnings in his scent and behaviour. nobody wants to be in his way.
and when you've been good and baji thought it was a good idea to allow you a small walk outside, you both came across the 1st division.
chifuyu was there with no more than 10 guys, all alphas. while baji never really let you out scared you'll get hurt, he trusted chifuyu enough to let him meet you, though rarely. your alpha's friend greeted you warmly, keeping a distance with you knowing the possessive nature of baji and having already witnessed first hand his anger when a stranger touched his omega.
he knew baji valued him as a close friend, but you would always come first and chifuyu wasn't willing to compromise both his friendship and his life.
while baji and chifuyu were happily chatting, baji always kept you close by with a hand on you waist or holding yours. you didn't say a thing and just waited for him to finish talking like the obedient mate you knew he liked.
what you hadn't expected is for an overjoyed recruit to clumsily push you aside to have a chance to talk to baji. he looked like a weird fanatic and addressed himself to baji with bright wide eyes and pure adoration.
you didn't mean to fall down, it was a slight push and you would have landed right back on your feet if you hadn't walked into a puddle of water. slippery feet and surprise made you touch the ground in a second while baji didn't even have time to comprehend what happened.
the young alpha didn't even look back at you and acted like nothing happened, you weren't sure if he actually even saw you fall. either way, the issue was be the same.
chifuyu instantly stopped talking and sent worried looks to baji, and the other members knew better than to stay close while sensing what was about to unfold. they all knew baji, and one of the most important unspoken rule was to treat you with respect while keeping a good distance. not having been informed, this guy was dead meat, and you understood it as soon as baji helped you up.
your hands were wet and bruised, he picked you up quickly and very carefully. he ordered you to go sit on the bench a few meters away to wait for him while he 'has a word with him'.
cut short in his words, the young alpha was thrown to the ground and you turned your head to the other side not wanting to see anything else, the sound of punches being already too much for you.
he wasted no time in joining you, told you that you would go back to your house for now and could always go out another time. for now his instincts were urging him to carry you somewhere safe and far from potential danger.
you know that despite his words, you wouldn't see the light of the sun anytime soon. those type of scenarios make him more cautious than usual and he won't risk anything like that to happen again.
he'll bring you snacks, ice creams and other stuff from outside in hope of making you stop pouting. he can't let you go out, you should understand why he does that.
just let him take care of you the way any omega needs and would absolutely crave. baji only want one thing and it's to keep you safe and sound, there's nowhere where you're more protected than by his side.

i hear you requested requests! ive got one!!
hobie x masc reader that's gwens older brother (ik its not canon, but the canon can fuck itself) (sorry miggy)
i dont really have anything in mind for reader's personality or whatever (so thats up to you!) but id like if reader liked to draw (thus ended up drawing hobie and got caught by him hahaha cliches i love them)
where hobie meets gwens older brother (you !)
hobie x masc!reader
this actually gave me hella ideas, im gonna link it to what happened in the movie (sorry it took a while, life fucked me)
didn’t specify if it was platonic or romantic (WHICH IS FINE ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥) so i’ve just done general shit for both lmao
warnings: none
pairing: hobie brown x masc!reader
requests: open, i cant let the demons catch me
Tumblr media
★⋆ ⋆☆⋆ ☠︎︎ ⋆☆⋆⋆★✧
when you first meet hobie you’re so very thankful to him for taking care of your little sister
if gwen managed to hide her being ghost-spider from your guys’ dad, then she likely hid it from you, too
but obviously, your dads gonna have to tell you why gwen didn’t come home one day
you’re crushed, naturally. likely furious at your own dad for literally firing a warning shot at her
might have ran away yourself, maybe hobie comes to your rescue too
or maybe you two meet while hobie’s dropping off his homemade gizmo for gwen, and you’re so unbelievably thankful for him and his generosity when you meet him
of course you will be, he took your sister in while you couldn’t do anything to help
hobie’s probably side-eyeing yours and gwens dad but is happy to get along with you if you’re gwens bother
he cant stay for long at that moment in time, got a multiverse to save and all that
but the brief interaction opens doors to many opportunities in the future
hobie gets to hear about the brief reunion between you and gwen from her, after she went back to her own dimension before it was show time
he becomes very intrigued by you
next time you two meet is likely after they save the multiverse (WHICH THEY WILL WITH ZERO CASUALTIES UNLESS ITS MIGUEL.)
BUT GENERALLY SPEAKING NOW
miguel definitely doesn’t approve of hobie using his watch to travel dimensions just to see you or gwen, still does anyway if he doesn’t just build his own
probably came to see gwen, pick her up to bring him to his own dimension, whatever
sees you instead, target acquired
hobie’s heard plenty about you from gwen, likes to think you aren’t strangers so is super friendly, overly even
catches you in your room, drawing in a well loved sketchbook
definitely does that thing where he just fucking appears behind you, he’s that quiet when walking despite the accessories
he’s looking over your shoulder while you draw silently, you might be too distracted to notice or you’re immediately started by him
smug asf when you finally catch on, is especially entertained if he’s caught you drawing him, god forbid
wouldn’t be surprised though, he likes to make people stare so is honestly complimented if you’ve been trying to draw him since first seeing him
doesn’t just snatch ur sketchbook and start looking through it though, unlike someone
as an artist, he gets it
you’re probably super protective over ur sketchbook actually because of gwen, smh
will probably banter a little bit about that, tease something about gwen that you’d both be victim to, like her tendency to borrow things without permission
find common ground yknow
“ain’t it a pain when she [gwen activities]” but you’re not being mean ur bonding it’s fine, we don’t slander gwen (i do however have some strong words)
starts hanging out with you on the odd chances gwen isn’t home, just casually in your room at first
starts off talking about your guys’ interests, seeing if you have things in common
probably listening to music together
the closer you get, he starts to actually travel dimensions just to see you
casually waves to gwen before ducking into your room
is happy to just kick back there, but is also happy to go out and do things at that point
the more you hang out, the more your dad and gwen begin to tease you- which is nothing in comparison to the shit hobie faces
gwen easily told everyone else about you two hanging out, he never hears the end of it now regardless of dimension
hobie starts using the front door instead of just appearing in your room “son, your boyfriend’s here” ur devastated why would ur dad say that
THENN hobie starts to come to your dimension for you more than gwen, has probably already invited you back to his once or twice but now he’s a lot more frequent with invites, wants you to consider his place a second home (in case you ever wanna run from home, cough)
say something does blossom between you two, obviously you don’t label it cause hobie’s not about that
you get promoted from “gwens brother” to “hobie’s boyfriend” at some point even if you don’t use labels- that’s only if ur not like too close to the rest of the friend group, but i imagine you’ve gotta be
hobie probably talks more about being spider-man relatively early on considering the topic, but since you know his secret identity it doesn’t really matter to him
the closer you are, the more into his stories he is
is ready to reenact the whole thing for you now so it’s like you were there
draw each other, i dare u
make playlists for each other, perhaps ?
there’s a lot of gwen snitching to each of you
and then you two do with that information together what you will later
like if you’re just being gay for each other it’s wild how fast gwen goes to the other and is like “guess what he said” she is not slick about it
hobie can be found at ur place more often then not, your dads a little more iffy about you going to a different dimension
still, very grateful to be welcome in your home but hobie definitely prefers to kick back at his
hobie loves to bother gwen about your whereabouts, if you are a thing or not “where’s your brother at?” he’s pretending to be cool about it
does your dad approve ? who cares
but nah he’s way more open minded after the incident, thinks hobie is a peace of work and probably his own son too if you’ve got a similar personality, in that case you’re perfect for each other
if not he’s just happy you’re happy, that’s all he cares about
obviously gwen supports it, likes to claim she introduced you guys and you owe your relationship to her when she tries to win in an argument/conversation

One Of Us (Pt. 1)
★ Rhea Ripley x [afab] Reader
Warnings: smut, language and lore, so far.
Word count: 3,449.
While you're watching another WWE match starring Rhea Ripley, as per usual, you notice that she seems a bit distracted—looking over at you every now and again. Despite that, she manages to keep her focus just enough to acquire another win—yet again. As the match has ended, her gaze swiftly shifts over to you. She slides under the ropes of the ring to approach you at the barrier, given you got a front row seat.
She leans onto the barrier with crossed arms and gives you what looks to be a cold glare with a subtle smile, though she's just analyzing your face. Taking in the detail of your facial structure, if you will. She gives you a subtle smirk before beginning to walk away, but looks back as soon as you suddenly stop her in her tracks.
You've grabbed ahold of her wrist to stop her from walking away from you so soon, yet you freeze up as she quickly looks back at you. She notices this, yet it doesn't seem to bother her. She stares right at you—almost as if she's staring through you. Her smirk still remains. A single brow is raised slightly as she waits for you to speak.
“What was that all about?” you ask, in a brutish tone and in curiosity as to why she came over in the first place just to stare at you for a single moment and walk away just as quickly.
Rhea's smirk grows a bit. It's almost as if she's amused by the fact you've asked such a question. She stares at you in silence, almost as if she's waiting. What for? Perhaps a response, or perhaps something else—unbeknownst amidst your surroundings.
Then, she finally speaks up.
“Hm?” You tilt your head, confused. “Is that all you walked over here to do? Couldn’t’ve just stared for longer rather than have started to walk away so soon?” You saw a chance to be bold for the first time in what seemed like years, and you absolutely took it. Rhea laughs a little as soon as she hears this. She leans back, still holding onto her smirk. She leans forward again—she seems to enjoy the banter.
“Oh really? You'd rather I kept staring at you?” Her expected bold demeanor is present.
“Don't start what you can't finish.” A cold, while also playful, expression rested at ease on your face.
“Is that a challenge?”
“It most certainly is,” you reciprocate her tone and demeanor, which catches her a bit off-guard, though she's clearly up for it. She stares very intensely at you for a few seconds—like she's analyzing you once more. Then, she leans slightly closer to you.
“Do you really think you can handle me?”
“Shall we put that to the test?”
You notice that her eyes narrow to thin and sharp slits, almost like they're focused and almost as if the icy blue has become a dark abyssal void. She leans in even closer to you, so much so that you feel a little intimidated. Her gaze is almost unsettling.
“Oh, I'm more than ready to put it to the test,” she replies to your boldness.
You lean in, resting your own arms on the barrier just the same. For a moment or so, you contemplate whether or not you should give into your impulsive thoughts.
Then, you wonder. You wonder what would happen if you gave into your impulsive thoughts in front of the already riled-up crowd. They've already noticed your interaction with Rhea, and they've already started recording... So, what would happen?
You look between Rhea and the door to an office. As you do so, contemplatively, Rhea shifts forward—rather uncomfortably close—insofar that you're forced to lean more backward than you wanted to. That is, so much so that you almost fall backward completely. Rhea takes notice of this and makes her way over the barrier to catch you in time—which she does successfully.
“Careful, there,” she says to you quietly, while also holding you against herself—similar to a hug of some sort. Her arms are fully around you, enveloping you in a sort of warmth—unfamiliar to you.
A few comfortable moments later, she lets go of you and takes a few steps back. You take this opportunity to look back at the office door.
She watches as your gaze shifts from her to the office door, then tilts her head in curiosity and follows forth with your shifting gaze. Thus—she, herself, also shifts her gaze over to the office door. She thinks for a moment, then takes a deep breath before literally (and without forewarning) picking you up, throwing you (gently) over her shoulder, and carrying you over the barrier and (furtively) over to the office.
Her office, to be more specific.
Rhea shoves you into her office, causing your back to hit the concrete wall behind you. You have to admit, it hurt at least a tad bit. You end up left alone in that office for a good hour or so before she returns.
Before you know it, you end up falling asleep from spacing out for so long. Just sat against that concrete wall, legs bent, head buried in your arms—which laid atop your knees. More than an hour passes, and you don't notice until the office door just barely slams open.
Rhea walks in, her (mostly) black and (accented) purple makeup smudged, a couple drops of sweat streaming down her face like a raindrop on a window, and even some blood from what seems to be a nosebleed. You look up, after having been somewhat rudely awakened, all to find that Rhea has—even with the door open—pinned you to the wall you're sat against. That, and she's even on her knees.
But, even with that sweetness, it's short-lived. She soon gets back up and abandons you momentarily. But, curious, you manage to pick yourself up and walk out of the office. Hearing a sink running, you decide to check the nearby women's restroom.
You knock on the door before opening it, as a sort of forewarning, only to find yourself face-to-face with Rhea—once again. She raises a brow at you, as if confused as to why you've approached her.
Her confusion halts as an idea forms in her head. “How would you feel about a little practice fight in the ring?” she asks you. By now, you've come to the conclusion that it's after hours and that the two of you have hours of free time. So, you take the opportunity.
“I wouldn't mind that at all, actually,” you respond, realizing you've (for an unbeknownst reason) brought with you a change of clothes particularly for this type of scenario. “I should change, first, though, if you don't mind.” You watch as she eyes you up and down and nods before walking out of the restroom, leaving you there to change.
You change into something of Rhea's style, among other things—particularly a black corset top, and a black 70s-style leather vest to cover it (for modesty purposes, though it really doesn't matter). You wrap a long-spiked choker around your neck and tighten it just enough that it doesn't choke the hell out of you.
You end up going all out and doing your makeup, as well, somewhat mimicking Rhea's style. Dramatic eyeliner, black upper lip, and you even write your initial on your cheek in a slashed black font. After having done so, you take a moment or two to check yourself out in the restroom mirror. Your clothes cling to your figure rather well, but something's missing.
You remove the concealer from the tattoos you've always kept hidden on your arms and hands. You've always had to hide them for career purposes, so now having the opportunity to show them off—you take that opportunity with pride. You slide a set of chained rings to either (both) hand(s), and the silver compliments your skin tone perfectly.
After debating for a moment whether or not you should match tongue piercings with Rhea, you decide that you might as well just go for it. And, so, you do. You sharpen your canines just a tad bit to make sure they get shown off. And, with that, you're basically done. (Forewarning.)
After admitablly way too long, you finally come out from the restroom. You walk over to the side of the ring nearest to you, and notice Rhea has been patiently waiting from the opposing side. As you climb into the ring, you take notice of Rhea's slightly widened eyes and ajar mouth.
As much as she'd love to show you how much she loves how you look, her cold and dominant demeanor takes over her as an instinctive response.
“Look at you,” Rhea starts, a hand placed on either hip as she shifts her weight to either side, “all dolled up. Is this for me?” You raise a brow, then slowly scan her body from bottom to top.
You unzip the back of your leather vest, just to undo your corset top, slip it off of you, and throw it teasingly to the other side of the ring, and zip up the back of your vest like nothing had—at all—occurred.
Along with that, you undo the chains from between the buttons of the front of your vest just to button the buttons and unintentionally flaunt your bust to presumably claim your dominance.
Deciding to be bold, you run head first at Rhea, in anticipation for her to dodge. She doesn't. Instead, she holds out a cupped hand, forcing it around your throat and pulling you up to meet her gaze as she looks down at you with a power-hungry grin. “What a messy start this has become,” Rhea states, loving the look on your face.
“It can get a whole lot messier,” you threaten.
Rhea pulls a black switchblade out of her pocket, and holds the handle in her mouth—blade unsheathed. The shock of this sight almost sends you flinching backward and out of her grasp.
She shoves you onto the ring floor. As your back makes contact with the surface material, it (your back) arches in pain. Your knees bend together, and you try to back away a bit to spare you some room to get back on your feet.
A grin-like smirk spreads sinisterly across her face just before she plummets on top of you, now hovering just over your figure.
Her own back arches, closer to yours. She knows what she's doing, alright.
She takes the switchblade and before she begins to cut down the buttons of your vest, you grab her wrist to stop her. To which, she responds by aiming the tip of the switchblade directly at your throat. Your breath hitches, and this causes her to roll her eyes back momentarily at the sight.
“Good try,” she chuckles, “but not good enough.”
You take a deep-ish breath before turning the tables and pinning Rhea to the ring floor. Somewhat taken aback by this, she responds by shoving you off of her with a kick and pinning you down with a Riptide. With this sort of advantage, you swipe her switchblade and attempt to use it against her.
Before you can, she swipes it from you and slides it out of the ring. The sound of the switchblade hitting the floor echoes throughout the arena.
As much as you're enjoying this whole scenario, you take the opportunity to somewhat throw yourself over her shoulders—though you end up pinning her once again before you roll off of her completely.
You make your way to the nearest edge of the ring, press yourself into the ropes, then run full speed at Rhea. She manages to reciprocate and get you pinned down.
Just to be a tease, you pull her in by the collar and lick up her throat—which sends a shiver down her spine. It was only then that she realized there was a feeling of metal against her skin…
After the short moment you have her distracted, you furtively roll and slide your way out of the ring and underneath it. Maintaining composure, you keep your breath steady.
That is, until Rhea makes her way behind you. You feel the leather of her clothing and the warmth of her body against your backside, and a ringed hand over your mouth. Your vision has become pinned to whatever’s in front of you. You’d be staring at her, if you only could.
For a moment or two, you feel as though you can’t breathe.
Despite that, you hear her quiet voice in your ear. “Naughty girl can’t follow simple rules, can she?” Your breath catches in your throat, and you almost choke on it.
Out of nowhere, intro music begins playing. Looks like it’s not after hours after all. “Shit,” you hear Rhea mutter to herself. It’s her intro playing, as well. That, and now is not a good time. Especially amidst this kind of situation.
The commentator speaks, and the crowd starts booing when Rhea doesn’t make an appearance. “Looks like I’ll have explaining to do.” She then takes a moment to think. “So, why not use this to our advantage? Maybe surprise the audience with a guest appearance?”
You, yourself, take a moment to contemplate this newly opened path. You’d speak if you only could. Much as you’d like to, you find your escape route by managing to turn the tables—to the point where you now have the upper hand (as in, you’re on top).
“And what a surprise this is…” Rhea starts. “Thing is, Mami… is always… on top…” That Aussie accent seems to have become more prominent, and you’ve just now noticed it. A smirk forms on Rhea’s face as she speaks those words, and you can almost guess the reason why with ultimate ease.
“Then, why isn’t she?” you ask, deciding to backtalk. In terms of your choice of words, Rhea strikes a slap across your face as some sort of punishment towards you.
“Try that again and see what happens.” Her cold demeanor returns, but you ignore it.
After having focused enough, you maneuver your way out from under the ring; Rhea follows closely behind you. Thus, you have failed in being as furtive as you attempted to be.
She picks you up as soon as she catches you, and throws you into the ring. (Luckily for you, you land on your feet.) Rhea, noticing the corset top you left behind not too long ago, momentarily takes it with her as she joins you in the ring.
The crowd cheers, going utterly wild. The commentary joins in with the crowd’s cheering. Seems as though this surprise, though it’s uncalled for, is a real crowd-pleaser.
Given the absolute chaos and deafening cheering from the crowd, Rhea is left having to mouth words to you as best as she can. “Isn’t this yours?” she mouths.
You only nod in response.
“Looks like someone might get stripped in this little match, eh?”
Your eyes widen once you realize the words she's mouthed. Soon enough, though, Rhea slowly approaches you in the middle of the ring until your faces are less than six inches away from each other’s.
As an instinctive reaction, you can't help but give her those pleading eyes as she looks down into your gaze. With one hand, in front of the crowd and commentary, she uses an index finger—drags it up your neck and lifts your chin. Your breath catches in your throat once more, causing you to almost choke—whether you'd like it or not.
She leaves a soft kiss on one of her thumbs and presses that same spot softly onto your lips, giving you an indirect kiss. Her gaze, staring into your eyes, seems to possess a sort of passionate aura you fail to recognize.
Corset top in one of her hands, she undoes the buttons of your vest (whilst also making sure that no one in the crowd sees anything they're not supposed to), slides it up your torso, gently puts your arms through the straps… Finally, she teasingly presses her body against you as she clasps together the hooks to the back strap of it. After, she clasps the buttons of your vest back together.
Sending her body against yours, you feel the instinctive urge to pin her to the floor of the ring—yet you hold back on that urge.
She backs you against the roping on one side of the ring, lifts your chin up, pins you against the roping (rather loosely, since it's not a very solid surface anyway), and presses her lips against your own. Within this action, that same passion you assume you saw prior returns.
You keep your composure, through and through, avoiding the urge to just melt under the heat of her kiss, especially since you're both surrounded by a rather wild and riled-up crowd. The commentary is taken aback, but you're at least half sure that they're enjoying the hell out of this sight.
Having you now distracted and almost completely subdued under her makeshift hypnosis, she pins you down with a second Riptide (similar to the first). You comply with this as easily as you would even if it weren't for a match, and the referee does his thing. Three simple seconds of your submission under Rhea's Riptide, and she's officially won the match—meaning, the title of Championship is still under her name.
Even after she's won the match, though, she keeps you pinned where you are. Looking up into the blue of her eyes, you can't help but feel weak.
Soon enough, the actual after hours begin. Meaning, the surrounding patrons, including the referee and the other workers, depart the building. All except the two of you.
As an attempt to make some sort of an escape, you buck your hips slightly upward—yet Rhea only reciprocates, causing you to let out a very weak and quiet moan. Almost too quiet to hear.
“What did I tell ya?” she begins, quoting a line she's said before, “Mami, is always on top.” An almost devilish grin plasters itself across her face, a wink accenting it. She licks her lips, somewhat provocatively, before lowering her upper body to pin you more securely.
Deciding to be a little more bold, you pull her in by the choker. That is, particularly between the ‘A’ and ‘M’ (directly center) of ‘MAMI’—labeled, in silver. Doing so, you cause Rhea to back away a bit due to how close you’ve forced yourselves to be in proximity.
“Not for long,” you finally decide to say.
“Yeah? Mami’s always on top, if you’ve forgotten.”
“...I suppose that means you own me?”
You take a moment to reminisce on when Rhea stopped after a particular match to walk over to you and just stare.
Retracing your steps, you realize that she’s almost always present wherever you are. Even outside of the WWE matches.
“A pet will tend to follow its master,” you hear Rhea say, as if she just read your thoughts.
As you form a response and open your mouth to speak, she shuts you up by suddenly kissing you. Your breath completely halts, the flush now on your face and your lack of breath almost causing you to pass out.
“Aww, look who's gone all silent,” she teases, furrowing her brows in some sort of pout.
You look away, clearly at least a little bit embarrassed. “Nope,” you correct boldly, despite knowing your boldness is an act you can't keep up for much longer.
“Is that so? It looked to me like I almost had to give you cpr.”
“You must be blind, then.”
“You must be loving my teasing, then, dear.”
You knew you'd reacted to that nickname by wanting to immediately fold right then and there, if only you could. Your knees begin to feel just a little bit weaker, your body heats up by a degree or so, and your breath slows down to an almost concerning pace. (Let's just hope you don't have heart arrhythmia!)
Sooner or later (just a few minutes after Rhea last spoke), you decide you've had enough.
“Just ravage me, at this point,” you mutter under your breath, just barely confident enough to express yourself truly.
Rhea tilts her head, portraying a makeshift expression to be confused—seeming to desire a more forward clarification. “Sorry, I couldn't hear you. Mind running that by me again?”
You stare profoundly into her eyes, almost with a look of hatred or apathy. “You heard me,” you threaten. But, little do you know that this is the start of an occurrence you may or may not afterwards regret.

lip gallagher x northside OC (Daisy) summary: in which lip could never see himself falling for a girl from the northside
part one of ?

warnings: swearing, smoking word count: 3098
▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯▯▯▯▯▯▯
Lip had no idea why a girl from the northside attended a shitty public school in the southside. And quite frankly, he couldn't care less. He had enough shit going on in his life, he didn't need to add thinking about some entitled priss onto that list.  She smiled constantly, and never seemed to get upset or let the intimidating southside area scare her. She was a privileged girl, anyone would assume so, and for that reason, Lip decided that he didn't like her.
After all, "All northsiders are the same"
Lip had gone freshman and sophomore year without interacting with the girl once and so far, in junior year, he had maintained it. It wasn't like he was actively trying to ignore her. But he wasn't exactly displeased their paths had never met. All he knew of the girl was that she was from the northside and her name. Daisy.
And he planned to keep it that way. Lip didn't care for people, his friends at school consisted of his brother Ian and Mandy Milkovich. He was too good for all the other incompetent assholes in their school, so not knowing the northside priss didn't drastically affect him and his day.
That was until his plan got screwed over.
⋆ ★
It wasn't a secret that Ian and Lip shared everything with each other, but there was one thing Ian didn't feel the need to mention. He and Daisy were friends. They don't know how it happened, but they were both late to their respective classes and had, quite literally, bumped into each other in the hall, which somehow resulted in a friendship.
However, although they had been friends for quite some time now, Ian didn't actually know that much about her, she was quite a private person.
Ian, Mandy and Lip were doing what they usually did at lunch, smoking in the boy's bathroom, laughing and spending the 30 minutes of learning free time they get together by chatting and not taking life seriously.
"Hey Lip, do you think you could do me a favour?" Ian asks, after the laughter that occurred after a joke that Lip had cracked died down.
"Depends what it is," The older boy replies, taking a long drag from his joint.
"I have this friend in your year, she needs help with chemistry,"
"What does she need?"
"An A, she's got a C at the moment."
"Who is it?"
"Daisy Bennett," Ian replied almost hesitantly, he wasn't ignorant to the rumours and opinions people held of his friend, and he didn't know Mandy's or Lip's view on the girl, all he had heard was Mandy mention she liked the girl's pristine black combat boots, Mandy's being a size too small and covered in scuffs and mud.
"Wait, Little Miss Priss? Why would you be friends with her?"
"Did she bribe you with her daddy's money?" Mandy piped in, smirking at the younger boy.
"No," Ian snapped back at them, "We just bumped into each other once and, I don't know we clicked, listen she's a nice girl and she needs some help with something, if you don't do it for her do it for me,"
Lip looked at his younger brother for a few moments, Ian never had that many friends, he got on with people, but he wouldn't call anyone, other than Lip and Mandy, his friends, so who knew what was so special about this girl. He was protective of his brother, and part of him just wanted to meet her so that he could make sure she wasn't going to hurt him.
"Fine whatever, tell her to be at ours at 6, also whatever I normally charge, she pays double,"
"What why?"
"She's from the northside Ian! I'm sure she could spare a few bucks to give to some southside lowlifes!"
Once Lip finishes speaking, the dull sound of the bell goes off, evident in its sound that it hasn't been fixed in years. The trio are quick to dispose of the evidence of them smoking before gathering their stuff and making their way out the bathroom, Ian helping Mandy down from the window still she was sitting on. Lip looked towards his brother one last time as he and Mandy walked away from the bathroom towards their respective classrooms, one thought on his mind.
What the hell am I getting myself into?
⋆ ★
After a long and gruelling day, where the same old boring teachers, taught the same boring shit for yet another year, it was nearly time for Daisy to be at the Gallaghers. One thing that Daisy's dad was keen to get into her at a young age was being punctual, she regularly arrived early for things, and was never more than 3 minutes late. So here she was, walking up the steps to the Gallagher steps at 5:59.
Daisy was nervous about this study session, not just because she would be tutored by someone she had never met before, she had seen Lip around, but never actually spoken to him, she was also nervous because she had been told stories by Ian about his family and how crazy they can be. She both knew exactly and had no idea what to expect.
She hesitated a moment before knocking on the door, rocking back and forth on her heels slightly, holding her laptop, textbook and notebook close to her chest.
A few moments later, the door swings open, revealing a young, redheaded girl, who looked up at the older girl curiously.
This must be Debbie
"Who are you?" She asked, looking at the girl almost matching the older girl's stance.
"Uh hey, I'm Daisy," Daisy replies, smiling at the shorter girl, "Is Lip in?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh, he's helping me study,"
"Debbie who's at the door?" An older voice asks, coming up and standing behind the young Gallagher, this woman was a lot taller than her younger sister, she had on a grey striped top and had long brown hair that looked somewhere between half brushed and neatly put together.
Fiona
"Who are you?" Fiona asked, her tone changing slightly, looking Daisy up and down taking in her appearance. Daisy clearly stuck out like a sore thumb in this neighbourhood, her clothes were neat and put together, with a preppy, private school uniform feel around them. Daisy could tell that Fiona was judging her, she really wanted to be wanted by the Gallaghers, especially the matriarch Fiona, because without her approval, she'd never be allowed near her friend Ian again.
"Hey, I'm Daisy,  Lip's helping me with Chemistry."
"You're Ian's friend right?" Fiona said suspiciously, having heard the name Daisy thrown around by Ian occasionally, not remember much from what she heard, only that she was from the northside, but Fiona could guess that already.
"Yeah, I am, is he in?" Daisy answered, watching as Fiona gently pushed Debbie back into the house.
"No, he's at ROTC, so you're close huh?"
"Well- I guess, we don't have any classes together and he spends a lot of time with Lip and, oh what's her name," Dasiy takes a few seconds to think, "ah! Mandy Milkovich, but we do homework together in the library after school sometimes."
"Too good for Lip and Mandy then?" Fiona accused, she wasn't intentionally trying to make the girl uncomfortable, but she, like most Southsiders, didn't take kindly to northsiders showing up around their area, to anyone else, a northsider befriending a Southsider might be considered 'Charity work', and if this preppy priss thought that Ian was going to be charity work, she had another thing coming.
"Oh no, not at all, they actually seem pretty cool, I just assume I won't be welcome, people at school tend to not want me around," Daisy answered honestly, not even letting her smile falter.
At that moment, Fiona felt bad for the girl in front of her, in their short interaction, she seemed nice enough, Fiona had nothing to judge her for other than she was from the northside, and that wasn't a lot to go off of. But clearly, the others at school believed that was reason enough to completely isolate the girl.
"Ok, ok," Fiona muttered, turning her body so she was facing the inside of the house, "Lip! Your friend's here to study!" She yelled into the house, surely making everyone in the house jump.
After a few moments pass, the two girls hear the sound of heavy footsteps trudging down the stairs and towards them. Lip rounded the corner towards them, not looking particularly impressed, muttering something along the lines of 'she's not my friend' to Fiona.
He inhaled slightly before acknowledging Daisy, "Hey, come on in." He sighs, not even giving her a moment to reply before making his way into the house ahead of her as if he was trying to get away from her and get her off his tail as quickly as possible.
Fiona stepped aside, allowing Daisy to step out from the cold Chicago air to the slightly less cold Gallagher house, clearly, the heating was either broken or they had it down really low because of the bills.
Daisy quickly followed after Lip, who was already halfway up the stairs, not having time to acknowledge the others who were sitting on the living room couch. Daisy just managed to slip into the boy's bedroom after Lip, which was lucky on her part, because if she hadn't caught up as quickly as she did, Lip probably would have slammed the door in her face.
Lip knocked a few stuff off his desk, making room for the two of them as Daisy stood awkwardly in the middle of the room, still hugging her stuff close to her body, as she took in her surrounding. Their room wasn't small by any means, if one kid was living in it, then this room would actually be quite big, the thing is by the number of beds, there were clearly three people living in this room, who Daisy assumed was Lip, Ian and their little brother Carl, giving off the illusion that the room was much smaller than it actually was.
The room was messy as well, all the blankets were randomly bunched up on the beds, clothes were on the floor, and random papers were all over the desk under the cabin bed (which Dasiy assumed must be Lips due to the assortment of space posters and the generally 'smart kid' vibe said corner of the room gave off) but Lip was just carelessly shoving them into the already full drawer at the side of the desk.
There was another thing that Daisy's dad had drilled into her at a young age, neatness, especially if there was a guest, even if the guest wasn't even going to see her room! It still had to be spotless with not even a hair band on the floor. She had also been told how to be a polite guest and a polite host, but all it had really taught her was she was supposed to respect others as a given, whereas any respect for her had to be earned.
"Yo, just gonna stand there forever or do you actually wanna get shit done?" Lip asks, breaking Daisy's train of thought, making her realize that he was now sitting down at a 'clean' desk, staring at her expectantly.
"Yeah, sorry," she apologised, taking a seat next to him and putting her stuff down in a neat pile on the desk.
Lip grabs her notebook and starts flicking through it, Daisy honestly couldn't tell if he was even paying attention to anything in there, "So what's the quiz on?"
"Uh Section C of the textbook,"
"When's the quiz?"
"Two days"
"What don't you get?" Lip asks boredly, now flicking through her textbook to section C, seeing what he considered pretty easy content.
"Um, any of it?" Daisy says hesitantly, scratching the back of her neck slightly, dropping her gaze to the textbook when she notices the unimpressed look on Lip's face.
"Seriously? This shit is so simple!" Lip almost laughed.
"Yeah well not all subjects come naturally, I'm sure I can get there if maybe it was explained a different way, but Mr Gilbert refuses to explain it any other way because 'if you can't do it my way, maybe you're just destined to fail'," Daisy defends. She wasn't a dumb student at all, she excelled in subjects like English Literature and History. But there were some subjects like maths and science that she just couldn't do naturally and needed extra help with, luckily her maths teacher offered that, Mr Gilbert, however, did not.
"Whatever let's just go from the beginning and work our way through." Lip sighs, picking up two pens, handing one to her, before reading out the first paragraph of the textbook.
⋆ ★
The two sixteen-year-olds had been studying for about an hour, Lip giving Daisy a few practice questions and using the time to get his old, tattered maths textbook out to do some work himself. Turns out, doing work with someone else in the room, who was also focused was actually a good study method.
"So," Lip said, deciding to spark a conversation with the other, his curiosity getting the better of him, "Daddy couldn't hire you your own private chemistry teacher?"
Daisy huffed in slight amusement, tapping her pen against her notebook as she tried to both focus on a conversation and figure out a particularly hard question that Lip had written, "Nope, he doesn't even know I'm failing,"
"Last time I check a C wasn't a fail, for someone who isn't good at chemistry naturally, it's decent"
"Not good enough for him," Daisy sighed, "Anything below an A is a failure in his eyes,"
"Shitty dad huh?" Lip asks, finally looking over at her.
"I guess yeah, he just wants me to do well" She replied shortly not giving Lip much more to go off of. Lip was normally good at reading people, but Daisy was difficult. He could now tell that her politeness was genuine, which surprised him, and also that she wasn't just using this study session as a way to sleep with him. This also surprised him, because he had had offers from other girls to study who would happen to have 'left their wallet at home' but repay him with a hummer.  Daisy wanted to study, despite clearly not enjoying the subject.
"How come you go to a shitty southside school then?" Lip asks after a few moments.
"Well my dad wanted me to go to some private school somewhere, didn't matter where he just wanted me to get the highest quality education, my grandma didn't want me too far away though, so she wanted me to go to a school in walking distance to her house, our school was the only one that was a 10-minute walk," Daisy answered.
"Your grandma lives in the southside?"
"For someone who doesn't like northside people, you seem to ask a lot of questions," Daisy says, looking up and smiling, finding herself looking right into his eyes. They were very pretty, she couldn't deny that.  She wouldn't deny that "It's getting late, I should go." She sighed gathering her stuff.
"Yeah, uhh, tell me how the test goes." Lip says, standing up and walking out of the room with her, unintentionally walking her to the door.
"Oh, so you care how I do?" Daisy teased, smiling at him with a smile that made a strange feeling happen in Lip's chest, one he didn't quite understand.
"I care, that my tutoring works, I could use the ego boost," Lip smirks.
"Ahh of course." Daisy shakes her head, reaching the door with him, "Oh um here!" She says, reaching into the pocket of her jacket, and pulling out a fifty-dollar bill.
"Oh no it's fine," Lip brushes off without even thinking about it, "I only charge thirty anyway, that's way too much"
"I know, Ian told me you'd charge me extra, wasn't expecting you to deny the money though, but I'm serious take it,"
"Listen maybe I'd take the thirty but fifty is too much."
Daisy rolled her eyes, and forced the note into his hand, "Thirty for the help, and twenty for a new maths textbook, yours looks like it will fall apart any moment," Daisy smiles, before rushing out of the house. Leaving Lip no room to argue.
⋆ ★
Lip didn't know when in the day Daisy's test was, but it was now lunch and he was yet to see her, not that he wanted to. He just wanted to know if he wasted an hour of his evening for nothing or not.
He, Ian and Mandy were walking to their last classes of the day, all of their classes being in the same general direction, when Daisy appears from nowhere, tackling Lip into a giant bear hug, winding him for a split second. Ian and Mandy look at the pair wide-eyed, the girl's strange act also getting the attention of a few passing students.
In complete shock, Lip didn't have the time to process what she was doing before she spoke, "You are amazing!" She celebrates, pulling away from and smiling brightly at Lip as he desperately tries to ignore the pounding in his chest.
"I'm assuming this means you got a good score?" Lip asks, the trace of a smile on his face, trying not to give the wrong impression to Mandy and Ian, who were watching the interaction almost eagerly.
"I got a 91/100! Just scraped it! Honestly, Lip thank you so much!" Daisy said breathlessly, her bright smile refusing to leave her face.
"Yeah uh, no problem," Lip chuckled slightly, the dull tone of the bell going off, indicating that class was about to start, "Um, I'll see you around?"
"Yeah, definitely," Daisy blushes, offering Lip one last thank you before turning away and walking towards her class, a slight bounce in her step.
Lip was so in his own thoughts, that he didn't notice he was watching fondly after her, thinking about the strange girl that, he had to admit, piqued his interest.
"She's not too bad huh?" Ian smirked at his brother, breaking the older boy from his thoughts.
"Shut up," Lip scoffed, punching his brother as the trio started to walk to their classes again, not answering Ian out loud, but he couldn't even deny his own thoughts anymore;
Not bad at all Ian, she really is something... something good

tuesday 8:20am — classroom 1-4
sato yn was 20 minutes early to class today. she had been coming to school late everyday before she got suspended so the school had to force her to arrive to school earlier than the rest of the students.
the girl had her head down, airpods stuffed in her ear as she listened to in the air by destin conrad.
being alone in class made yn think, she had no other choice but to replay memories. she never really had time to think to herself about her life, she was always the type to make memories and think about consequences later.
although she assumed riki was joking about jungwon liking her, she really wished it were true; all this arguing with minjeong wasn’t for no reason, she wanted to defend her name, but she also just wished jungwon had just met her normally and maybe they could’ve formed a proper relationship with each other.
if the girl was being honest with herself, she didn’t like how she was right now. her mom moved her to seoul to have a fresh start and better herself with the help of her cousin changmin. obviously she hasn’t changed but she does have more sympathy than before, her old self would’ve just not cared about how this would affect the people around her.
yn sucked in a breath, closing her eyes while the music just played in her ears. it was gloomy out, she wasn’t in the mood to interact, especially not after all the things that has gone down, she really felt like shit. being known as a ‘rebel party girl who jungwon cheated with’ was starting to get to her.
jungwon stepped inside the quiet classroom; he was always early, always alone, always just there to avoid all the stares he’s been getting recently. the boy was almost fully soaked from biking to school. his bangs stuck to his forehead, lips all red from sucking on them out of habit. it really wasn’t a good morning for him.
jungwon notices yn from afar, her head was down, airpods in, and asleep as she usually was. her hair fell perfectly around her face, she was gorgeous in jungwon’s eyes, she really had an affect on him without even doing much to grab his attention.
the constant reminders that jungwon might have feelings for her made the boy think every single night since the day she walked into their homeroom and introduced herself as ‘sato yn’ with a bright smile. and at this point, jungwon just accepted it, he had feelings for yn and he was going to confess.
not now though. not without knowing if sunghoon likes her or not.
jungwon walked over to his desk, sitting down right next to yn like he usually does. the boy didn’t want to wake yn up, she was peacefully asleep. instead, jungwon layed his head on his arms facing the girl— observing her features for the 100fh time.
time passed by and no one seemed to be walking into the classroom. jungwon tapped on his phone to check the time, ‘9:14am.’
thats weird, class started at 9:00 why isn’t anyone here..
confused, jungwon sat up and checked his emails just to find one that says, ‘school cancelled due to rainstorm.’ great.
jungwon was stuck, he didn’t want to wake up yn and tell her that there was no school and that she has to leave even though she came in early for the first time in a month.
jungwon sat there, not saying much, caught up in his own head. not realizing that the girl opened her eyes and was now staring at him with a puzzled expression.
“where’s everyone?” the girl asked silently, she yawned as she sat up, stretching her whole body.
jungwon turned his head to the voice. he was not expecting yn to wake up suddenly and to be staring at him with a cute confused expression?
jungwon was about to burst into a million pieces.
the boy opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. yn eyebrows furrowed, she was expecting him to be arrogant and speak without hesitation like he usually does, but he looked flustered, almost nervous.
“hello, earth to jungwon.” yn waved her hands in front of the boys face.
“oh, school was cancelled.”
“what.”
“i didn’t know either, i just checked my email.”
the girl tapped her phone just to see a bunch of notifications from her friends telling her school was cancelled.
“i don’t even know how im going to get home.” yn said, shutting off her phone.
jungwon thought for a moment, “i mean i have my bike. i could peddle you home.”
jungwon smirked before nudging the girl with his elbow. and hes back, the normal jungwon she knew.
the girl scoffed at him before snickering at his little joke.
“okay sure. peddle me home yang jungwon.”

Doraemon Movie Review: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration (2019)
What is Doraemon? The title character of the Doraemon manga and anime is a blue robotic cat from the 22nd Century who keeps an array of high-tech gadgets in a portable pocket dimension on his belly, and has traveled from the future to improve the fortunes of a hapless schoolboy named Nobita. Although relatively obscure in the English-speaking world, Doraemon is a Mickey-Mouse-level cultural icon in East Asia (and some other regions, too). The Doraemon franchise was a big part of my childhood, and there are still elements of it that I enjoy now.
Doraemon has released theatrical films almost annually since 1980, most of which involve Nobita and his friends (kind Shizuka, brash Gian, and crafty Suneo) getting swept into adventures thanks to Doraemon's gadgets. Despite being of potentially broad appeal to fans of science fiction and animated films, there are very few English reviews of the Doraemon movies, so I'm embarking on a project to write about all the films that have come out so far. Good luck to me…
Tumblr media
Movie premise: Doraemon helps Nobita create an alternate reality where rabbits live on the moon.
My spoiler-free take: Out of the non-remake movies to come out of the 2005 Doraemon anime reboot, this might be the one that comes closest to feeling like a “classic” Doraemon film so far, and I consider that a good thing.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS AFTER THIS POINT
Review: If one were to boil this movie down to its individual core elements, I think they’d find very little that hasn’t been done in previous Doraemon films. (Okay, having one of the movie-only characters pose as a transfer student and actually interact with Nobita’s classmates outside of the main cast is new.) However, that actually works to its benefit, in my opinion. After so many of the post-reboot Doraemon movies have felt experimental in one way or another (with varying degrees of success in my book), it was nice to see one that replicates the vibe of a classic Doraemon story without being a straight-up remake of an older film.
I also thought this movie does a good job of introducing potentially convoluted plot points without feeling bogged down, especially the main gadget that allows the story to happen: the Fringe Theory Club Member Badge, which can create alternate realities that are only perceptible to people wearing it. The effects of this gadget could have easily been overly confusing, but the film manages to establish how it works quite effectively.
I suppose there are a few things I could quibble about: maybe it strains credibility that the villain’s second-in-command would think that someone named Diabolo was working with good intentions all along, and maybe the final battle against the villain’s minions gets a bit too slapsticky to take seriously. Otherwise though, I’d say this is pretty solidly one of my favorite non-remake movies to come out of the Doraemon anime reboot.
Not to mention, Shizuka gets to save everyone here, nice! It’s been a while since the last time. I’ve lamented this before, but it seems that many recent Doraemon movies (discounting remakes) don’t know what to do with her. The fact that older entries in the series have a better track record of portraying Shizuka is honestly kind of sad, so anytime in the new movies that she gets to do something important instead of standing in the background or playing the damsel in distress can only be taken as a good sign.
Shizuka-saves-the-day count (cumulative): 8
Star rating: ★★★☆☆

Ikepri Clavis route discussions
(chapter 8&9)
If I made a mistake or shared misinformation, feel free to inform me in the comments.
🅆🄰🅁🄽🄸🄽🄶: Clavis route spoilers. Don't read this, it's a waste of your time.
*・゚゚・*:.。..。.:*゚:*:✼✿ ✿✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・゚゚・*
(I'm not sure but I think this happened in chapter 8)
So, it starts off with Emma inquiring Chevalier because she feels like Clavis won't tell him anything. (Yep, girl's that desperate.)
Chevalier gave hints and grunts of him knowing but refusing to share the knowledge for he sees no benefit in it for himself. Saying unless something of equal value is given to him, he won't speak.
And what did Emma do to get him talking?
Books. She bribed him with books.
And then she was told many vague things and then suddenly someone (Clavis) covered her eyes from behind and blah blah blah.
Fast forward to the time they were about to leave Chevalier's private library when, the brutal beast said something about Silvio, the Benitoitian prince from before. He said that revealing Emma's identity of Belle was not his intention for inviting her, it was something else.
What that something else was, he didn't say. Typical Chevalier.
Clavis took that warning, with seemingly a pinch of salt. (Damn, I wish I had taken a screen shot of his expression)
Tumblr media
Got another chance to take a screen shot.

(Chapter 9)
During the carriage ride, Clavis snatched our book away and gave a speech about how smiles are the foundation of socializing. Ngl, his words and advice were legit and it sounded like he was talking from experience.

I'm at a loss for words.
Tumblr media
The amount of brainstorming I'm having to do is baffling. (Results of having quite the indecisive ass)
I really wanna take Sariel's hand just to spite Clavis but I have a feeling it will instead deflate his ego.
Being around Sariel means I have to be on my utmost best behavior, master expects nothing less. But that for me is quite difficult, look I have difficulty holding my tongue around jackasses. Which I'm sure Sariel won't appreciate.
And..... The fact that this is Clavis's route keeps on nagging at my heart.... It's almost like...idk.... Telling me how unfair that would be. And I'm aware Sariel will get his own route so....... I'll pass this opportunity for fairness.
Now onto Cyran. For context, he is Clavis's first soldier and the one that had to put up with all his shit before Emma happened. The only description we have about how he looks is that he has red hair.
He's fairly polite towards Emma (as he should be) and........ That's about it.... As much as I know he'll be quite the perfect middle ground choice... Again, the nagging feeling. Plus I don't wanna be a bother, dude sounds as if he's had enough sometimes when talking about or to Clavis.
(But really though, I don't get why I find him hot even when I've seen so little of him and he and Emma don't interact much... *slaps self* bitch you must remain loyal to the one you're playing the route of. )
Now.. . .. The only remaining choice is Clavis and I'mma go with that. It's fair and I wanna choose him cause I'm loyal and supportive like that.. . And there's just something that tells me that he'll be real happy if I choose him. But.... That doesn't mean I'm not a bit scared (excited) for what is to come.

So this was what Chevalier was warning us about.
Damn! It's only chapter 9 and here he is, in all his glory,

Not to nitpick but...... "and in spite of how young he seemed, one eye was covered with an eyepatch. "
Girl..... In what universe does looking and being young prevent or stop one from losing an eye or sight??

I apologize for wasting your time.

Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers
“Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers” is creative when it’s being meta, but falters with everything else.
Chip and Dale were once a cartoon duo with a successful television show in the 90′s. Dale was starting to get tired of being second fiddle to Chip and decided to pursue his own television show. The result of that was their show getting canceled and Dale’s own television show being scrapped after the pilot. Thirty years later, Chip and Dale are called by their old friend, Monty, because he needs their help. Monty goes missing and it’s up to Chip and Dale to find their old friend.
I’ve never watched the old television show this was based on because it was before my time. Even though I have no attachments to this IP, I couldn’t help but feel bad for those who were. On the one hand, having Chip and Dale be actors instead of the detectives they were in the show is a clever way to have this movie be more accessible to a wider audience. But on the other hand, I feel like it betrays the vision of these characters that real fans grew to love. To be honest, the movie didn’t have to star Chip and Dale. This movie could’ve taken a page out of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and created original characters. Hell, I think people would’ve loved for this movie to be a Roger Rabbit sequel. I’ve heard how Chip and Dale sounded in the original and I think changing their voices for this movie was necessary. However, I don’t think John Mulaney and Andy Samberg were the right choices. Their voices do not compliment these characters whatsoever. I feel like they were just cast because of their name recognition. Speaking of miscasts, I thought KiKi Layne wasn’t that great in this movie. I haven’t seen her in other works, so I don’t want to flat-out call her a bad actress, but she was definitely the weakest link in this movie for me. The movie would’ve benefitted greatly from an actor with some level of experience interacting with CG characters. Like I said before, I don’t have any attachments to this franchise, but even I knew they did Gadget dirty. She ends up with Zipper the housefly, which is a bit funny until you see the pictures of their kids. On top of that, she’s given no new characterization in this movie and lampshades that fact in an unfunny joke. To rub salt in the wound, this is how they choose to use her extremely limited screen time. This movie does a lot of lampshading. Chip says he hates when old characters start rapping in an attempt to stay relevant, but ends up doing it anyways. Chip and Dale both call out the horrors of the Uncanny Valley while Chip’s character model looks really bad in the wrong light. It was probably to save money on animation, but it still leaves me wishing for a traditionally 2D animated Chip. Still, I don’t think this movie was unwatchable. There were a lot of funny scenes that had me laughing out loud. Keegan-Michael Key’s character has this scene where he switches personalities that caught me off guard. Any scene with Seth Rogan in it was great because of how much he let the movie make fun of him. I think if the internet didn’t spoil the Ugly Sonic reveal, then that would’ve had me laughing too. A lot of the commentary about the animation industry was clever too. Things like the Uncanny Valley, that I mentioned before, and bootlegs (although they should’ve been called Mockbusters) are called out in fun ways. The main problem with this movie is how barebones it is without the meta jokes or the recognizable IP’s. This movie is just a basic rescue plot with a Where’s Waldo minigame of recognizing the most characters.

Doraemon Movie Review: Nobita and the Windmasters (2003)

Movie premise: Nobita keeps a small typhoon as a pet and discovers that it has a connection to the history of a hidden village.
My spoiler-free take: Saddest. Doraemon. Movie. Ever. That’s it; that’s the review. Oh, and I suppose it’s got some nice worldbuilding, too.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS AFTER THIS POINT
Review: Just to get the obvious out of the way: very few Doraemon movies can claim to end on a sad note, but this one certainly qualifies. Beyond that though, this film also deserves props for its worldbuilding, which might be among the most extensive and creative of any Doraemon movie. The main setting is an isolated village (apparently somewhere in Central Asia, but not directly stated) whose people have developed tools to manipulate and harness wind energy for almost all their daily needs, and the animals in the region have also evolved accordingly. It reminded me a lot of the element-based societies in Avatar: The Last Airbender (which this film predates).

The story here has some noteworthy parallels with the original Nobita and the Birth of Japan. In both movies, there’s a scene where Nobita gets lost in the snow before being rescued by a large, woolly mammal (though in Nobita and the Birth of Japan, the “mammoth” was actually the time police in disguise). In addition, the main characters are also not the ones who ultimately defeat the biggest threat in Nobita and the Windmasters. However, I think this avenue of resolving the conflict works much better here than in Nobita and the Birth of Japan, because the characters who end up doing the heavy lifting (Fuuko the typhoon and the people of the Wind Village) have established relationships to the protagonists, instead of being nameless time police that the main characters just happen to stumble into. Indeed, it could probably be argued that Fuuko would not have been motivated to fight against the threat if she hadn’t bonded with Nobita throughout the movie. Furthermore, the protagonists’ efforts do still wind up making a difference in how the final battle plays out (or at least, Nobita’s and Gian’s do).
Speaking of Gian, he and Suneo get a surprisingly large amount of focus in this film, though Suneo spends much of it as a puppet for one of the villains... again. Even before that happens, however, Suneo takes on a somewhat antagonistic role in the beginning of the story (more akin to his usual interactions with Nobita in the mainline series), which was interesting to see. This movie also features one of the few times that Gian’s singing does not work as a “secret weapon” to stop an enemy.
Star rating: ★★★★☆
