After failing to get into any academy she applied for, Amelia flew back to LA and to her mum’s to start hatching some kind of plan in order to change that. Luckily, Gisele was away filming when she got home, so Amelia had time to work out what to do hopefully before her mum came asking about her acceptances. By the time Gisele returned, Amelia has already secured herself a place at their first choice academy. She scammed her way in and now she continues to play out this false relationship while keeping up her usual sleeping around shenanigans.

SECRET(S)

Amelia suffers with an on/off alcohol addiction and has made multiple trips to rehab. She’s constantly fighting for her sobriety but constantly slips up 

Currently in a fake relationship with the son of the Dean of Diamond Bridge, something she got into in order to secure her a place at her academy of choice. She of course has affairs but has to keep them quiet and out of public gossip to make sure the world is convinced she’s in love.

Jay - They’re best friends and grew close because Gisele and Disney are still just as close too. They have a almost sibling bond, but they’re definitely had moments of flirting and fucking around. They’re also unaware of their parent’s past relationship. (gigi & park)

Clara - best friends but definitely in a laid back sense. They're essentially a mini version of gigi and Disney. They're the kind of friends who aren't in each others pockets but since going to different universities, whenever amelia is back in town, her priority is to see Clara and catch up. She'll be the first person she tells if she's coming back to town, and if she shows up unannounced, Clara would drop any plans or anyone to see her.

Aurora - I don’t think this was ever discussed but I’m counting it because amelia likes her lol which is basically it. I think they’d hooked up before or at least have flirted a lot but amelia has definitely developed a crush on her

Addy - Rivals in a way but mainly from amelia’s side. addy doesn’t really pit them against each other but the academy, the fans and insider always do which only plays on addy’s insecurities. and considering how much amelia put into getting herself into the academy so she could follow her dreams, she’s not about to let herself get overshadowed by addy who’s supposed to be an actress and is only just getting into music.

Dylan - Long distance ex from over the summer/high school. but since leaving VS and going their separate ways, they lost touch. mainly thanks to amelia. and their break up only came when dylan heard online that she was now seeing the dean of diamond bridge’s son. he hadn’t expected it at all as they hadn’t spoken, but he took that to mean they were over.

Jihoon - They have a very strong working relationship even though they’re in different parts of the world. jihoon helps amelia produce tracks and because she’s become and perfectionist with her music, she delays putting a lot of things out there, but jihoon is always encouraging her and pushing her to release things. she genuinely appreciates his support.

Peter C - Peter was the reason Amelia didn’t get into any academy she auditioned for, all because she found out the truth about how Mason had paid for Peter to go to Liberty. She threatened to tell and before she knew it, she got all rejections. but now that she found her own way into Diamond Bridge, Peter also knows the truth. They keep each other’s secret to protect themselves but they always bicker and threaten each other.

James - her boyfriend but in her eyes, it's a fake relationship. She's used him because he's the son of the Dean of Diamond Bridge, and after the mess with Peter and her not getting in fairly, this was her way at fixing it. She's continuing to play along until she feels secure enough in her career and what's she's bringing to her academy so she knows she won't get kicked out. He doesn't know she's faking but there's definitely aspects of him using her too.

Wren - a songwriting friend; amelia doesn't care about her past or drama, she just enjoys her company and they hang out and work together a lot

Someone who knows that she’s fake dating the dean’s son but helps her keep up appearances and cover her tracks. They don’t have to necessarily go to the same uni, it could just be that they were pretty great friends in high school so on social media etc, they back her up and they’d stayed in touch. They’ll also obviously know the lie is to make sure she has a place at her chosen school.

The dean’s son she’s fake dating. I guess it could literally be anyone if their parent or NPC parents decided to become the dean at diamond bridge (LA) 

Someone who’s suspicious their relationship isn’t real but can’t prove it but just generally doesn’t trust her, even though they have no slid reasons to. (btw I’d prefer if they didn’t publicly argue that it’s fake and they keep their suspicions to themselves/to her in case they’re wrong or for whatever reason)

Friends with benefits; they could know that she needs it to be a secret because of the fake relationship, and it could be that they need it to be a secret too so they kinda help each other out.

Hytale

Nadie conoce un juego como un modder. Y detrás del proyecto de Hytale se encuentra por un lado el equipo Modder más grande del archiconocido Minecraft y por el otro Riot. Hypixel Studios fue fundado por los propietarios del servidor Hypixel en Minecraft: crearon el estudio en 2018 e inicialmente colaboraron con Riot Games. Este último actuó como un “business angel” y apoyó a Hypixel Studios a través de inversiones y revisiones. La suma de la transacción, como resultado de lo cual Hypixel Studios se unió a Riot Games, no ha sido revelada. Los desarrolladores señalaron que el acuerdo aumentará el presupuesto de su juego debut Hytale, mientras se mantiene la independencia creativa. Hypixel Studios también continuará apoyando su servidor en Minecraft.Hypixel Studios conoce Minecraft muy bien. Simon Collins-Laflamme y Philippe Touchette fundaron Hypixel Minecraft Network en 2013, y desde entonces se ha convertido en uno de los servidores más populares del juego.

El estudio fue fundado gracias a este éxito, y el primer juego para desarrolladores de Hytale, que emplea a 40 personas, hace un buen uso de todo este conocimiento de Minecraft.

El desarrollo de Hytale, el juego de sandbox de gran éxito de Hypixel, comenzó en 2015, pero antes de eso había un equipo de desarrollo. El estudio Hypixel comenzó con dos personas, pero pronto atrajeron más y más modders, y continuaron reponiendo el repertorio de minijuegos para el servidor.

El equipo cambió seriamente Minecraft, creando una colección diversa de modos de juego y mapas de Murder Mystery, donde el astuto asesino debe deshacerse del detective y de varias víctimas, hasta el SkyWars, que empuja a los jugadores unos contra otros en un mapa de islas flotantes. Pero Hypixel comenzó a enfrentar las limitaciones del juego.

RPG es la base. Sirve inteligencia, construcción, fabricación, combate y cooperativo, enseñando a los jugadores qué es Hytale. McCafferty está seguro de que esto no es solo una muestra de prueba. Hypixel construye un mundo con una historia de facciones y estructuras en guerra. Este es un mundo generado aleatoriamente, pero todavía está influenciado por un conjunto de reglas que determinan el orden de las zonas donde aparecerán las aldeas y las mazmorras de historia y las relaciones entre los NPC.

El sueño, según McCafferty, es que los jugadores y los creadores de mods puedan hacer algo global juntos usando las herramientas Hytale. “Queremos asegurarnos de que las personas implementen estas cosas lo más fácilmente posible, y si no pueden hacerlo, veremos por qué e intentaremos hacer algo al respecto.”

La flexibilidad de Hytale queda clara en los juegos que Hypixel ya está creando dentro de su proyecto. Por ejemplo, un tirador de desplazamiento e isométrico inspirado en los Starship Troopers. Los desarrolladores también quieren actualizar minijuegos como SkyWars. "¿Por qué no agregar un jetpack desechable?" - piensa McCafferty. Sin las limitaciones del juego de Minecraft, un desarrollador puede experimentar con nuevos controles de cámara y física con los que los modders y los jugadores pueden turnarse para crear sus propios mundos y minijuegos.

Hay muchas ganas de que Hytale en español salga, y aunque aún no está confirmada su fecha exacta, todo apunta a que será en 2021, por lo que los modders y gamers hispanohablantes aún tendremos que esperar un poco para disfrutar de un Hytale español. Así que vayamos preparando los servers Hytale, porque esto promete.

Gamification and Media Convergence 

Gamification has a reward level system that mimics what you would find in the video game genre which is also found its way into the workforce. I often see my current employer using the same tactics using a reward system. In order to increase our productivity, a reward is given to whoever completes their documentation in the shortest amount of time. 

I also find myself using a gamification model when it comes to redirecting my children. In order to keep them quiet while I am driving, we play a game where they are non-talking NPCs who must make it back to base. Whoever talks is excluded from the game until next time we play and whoever wins get the reward at the base which is home. 

My youngest daughter is 4-0! Other forms of Gamification can be found on Linkedin who utilizes a percentage system to tell whether your profile is from 10% to 100% completed. Twitter and Facebook use an upvote, likes or follower counts and Reddit has an up-or-down-vote system that unlocks trophy badges. There are many forms of Media Convergence, most of which are seen to be very lucrative in cinematography.  

Hollywood has had its share of lagging returns from the box office and has run to other forms of pop culture for inspiration. Due to the success of the Harry Potter books by R.K. Rowlings, many adaptations from book to movies have taken place such as Maze Runner by James Dashner and  Hunger Games by author Suzanne Collins to name a few.  

Disney has made many successful movies based on Marvel comic book characters which also are seen in a plethora of merchandise such as toys, coloring books, video games, cartoons, and clothing. Other forms of Media Convergence have made the transition from video game to movies such as Tomb Raider, Assassins Creed and Dwayne Johnson's Rampage which is based on a classic 1980's video game from the 2-bit era.
