It had been one short month since Sinbad had found his way lost in Teyvat, this new world that is completely different from his own. He had found himself in Sumeru and spent the majority of his time studying all there is to know about the country, its traditions as well as some things regarding the other nations of the world. This was all made possible because of the kindness shown to him by an elderly woman native to this land, in exchange Sinbad also worked hard acquiring various jobs around the city until he was discovered by a local merchant that had taken him under his wing. 

That merchant saw how knowledgeable Sinbad was in the game of trade and sale and instantly hired him and now under their name Sinbad travels the world in hopes of giving that very company fame whilst exploring the world looking for his own ‘treasures’ on the way. These travels took him overseas until he eventually arrived within the wilderness of Liyue, not that very far from Mondstadt’s territory either, but here he is now at the Wangshuu inn finally a place where he could indeed rest his feet.

His face made a rather pouty expression towards her, ha to think she’d call him stubborn too. Well insinuated that he is, whilst he thought he was rather level headed, granted when it came down to her safety he supposed he would do the most rash thing to ensure she winds up unscathe..then again he couldn't say the same now since she was hurt because he decided that it was better to be ‘careful’ than to be efficient. The man played with his food and it almost cost him the one person that’s made this strange world feel like a home.

A hand reaches forward, to hold it gently, he holds it much like he had the first time they’ve met. He was just a bold traveler that just couldn’t help but take a hold of her hand and bring her so close that he invaded her very personal space, he had done so again but not in a way to tease her this time, it was different in this moment as his eyes held genuine worry for her. “I’m fine, just fine thanks to you, our ‘friend’ is supposed to be just as fine but I was far too worried about you.” Tartaglia might have been a thorn in his side, but a thorn he would endure in order to have ensured Yuna was safe.

Then she asked about what had happened. Hmmm, he wanted to tell her..he really did but not here. The walls might still have ears, the last thing Sinbad wanted was for others to know that he could manipulate elements without the help of a vision. As much as he adored the spotlight, this was something he didn’t want because it would get in the way of him helping this world from the shadows. “Not here..when you’re discharged I’ll answer every question you have..but What I can say..it doesn’t change anything between us if you’ll still have me. I’ll admit that leaving had been the goal. For over five years I’ve traveled, studied, made a name for myself with the sole purpose of leaving.”

He then paused as he gently brought her hand towards his heart. “Then I met you and it really threw my plans out the door the moment we became closer, I didn’t mean to lie to you..I wanted to tell you soo many days..but at least now you have a perspective of how I can publish soo many books in the span of a few months.” There he was making light of the situation again and even giving her a smile for good measure. But now that she was rested..kind of he figured a little demonstration wouldn’t hurt. The man gently sets aside his ‘electro vision’ upon her lap. Whilst it was quite the marvel, a convincing replica but in the end it was nothing but a lifeless husk of metal.

With the vision off his person he slowly took out his sword from his hilt, generating his own magoi into the blade to create a few crackles of lightning to surge around the steel’s mast before disappearing.

He had been following this odd fatui member for quite some time now, wondering if this was a rather new diplomat that tried to see Inazuma in ruins despite just opening their borders towards the public again. Whomever this person was he was NOT going to just let this person ruin something that would prove beneficial to him in the near future. So, without any hesitation the sailor hops from a tree and lands in front of the hooded figure. Both arms crossed over his chest as his eyes were focused upon them. “That’s as far as you’re going to go. I won’t be letting the fatui have their way with this country any longer.”

Windblume was one of the events he wanted to experience at least once and thankfully now he could after days of being trapped within the chasm to acquire his golden necklace that he wore around his neck. “Hmm Mondstadt seems soo much more festive now than it had been since the last time I was here. Ah, how great it would have been to spend the festivities along with someone else.”

No one knew where it came from, but one day Mondstadt had been mysteriously hit with a perpetual lightning storm. The storm was so great it was said to rival the fury of the raiden shogun herself, no one knew where it came from and no one knew when they would be free from it. By all reports the storm had been ongoing for two months with no particular end in sight, however Grandmaster Varka and his platoon of knights had found the entrance of a rather strange domain that prevented them from entering. Try and try as he might, not even the great wolf Varka was enough to open the domain’’s doors and Mondstadt had no choice but to remain vigilant and conduct more research onto the domain, oh if only Alice were still around.

Though unbeknownst to anyone within the city its savior had just arrived from the grasslands of Sumeru and entered the Angel’s share tavern kept by Crepus Ragnvindr. Sinbad found his seat and already made friends with the others around him as he began to drink merrily.

It had been several months since that incident in Natlan and since then Sinbad had garnered fame as a theater entertainer and author within the countries of Mondstadt, Liyue and Sumeru, his fame had reached further beyond but only towards other merchants and whatnot, his name was not spoken all over teyvat just yet. Though his journeys took him to Natlan once again, he heard that the following month the land of pyro had turned into a winter wonderland overnight and had been the same for a month. There had been a couple of casualties considering the civilization was never prepared for something like this.

Ice that regenerated no matter how many times the flames of vision users had come across them, The eternal flames of the Archon was the ticket that melt the ice, however as quick as it all melt the ice would just come back overnight, stronger than ever now causing snow to fall from the skies all over the lands. This phenomenon brought forth numerous scholars trying to think of a solution, there were even some conspiracy theories revolving around this to be the work of the Tsaritza herself, however that was far from the truth. 

Though there was one man that had an idea of what this phenomenon could be, so of course Sinbad wanted to do this rather quietly and secretly so instead of going to the Adventurer’s guild he simply traversed the wilderness that was once an unforgiving wasteland now a field with 4 inches of snow upon the earth as the snow continues to fall. 

Sinbad of course was dressed rather warmly as he traversed with another taller man, an adult male that wielded a cryo vision as Sinbad’s own ‘vision’ was safely attached to his belt as he continued to tread the path with his companion. “The rumors weren’t exaggerating, it really is a damn snow paradise, and you’re sure you know what’s causing this?” The larger man exclaims looking down at his captain.

Sinbad smiles and nods his head, before he begins to shiver and quickly huddles towards the taller man hoping that he’d warm him up even more. Gosh he’s become so sensitive to the cold. “Hrrrrr..y-yeah. Fate’s never let me down yet. Ironically I’m the only one that can stop this.” Said the sailor as the larger man began pushing his captain off him, but sinbad struggled to remain close. “Okay- but you don’t have to be so close.” Said the samurai as Sinbad moved himself closer. “Don’t be that way Akio..it’s really REALLY cold you know.”

Both his arms remained over his chest, oh how ‘romantic’ this was. However, look at her face, this made her so happy. Seldom e’s ever seen her so energetic..unless during other circumstances but now? Her senses were soaking up the simple thrill of battle and that was just what he was going to give her, though he had the disadvantage when it came to elements it still didn't stop him from trying. Both palms opened and directed at her, crimson eyes at the center of his hands began to glow, lowering the very temperature of the air around her with an added bonus. “Garufor Zairu.” Shards of ice began to launch from both the palm of his hands and flew towards her with blinding speed and force.

Huh, who would have known she would become such a poet, what she spoke towards him was beautifully said, he it was as if she felt the spirit of Mondstadt’s winblume festival all the way within the Liyuan fields they stayed on. Of course Sinbad had accepted a little job from the adventurer’s guild and had gotten Seraphina involved with his antics but it would be the only time they’d have together for the day and honestly time spent with her was something he looked forward whenever they had a scheduled reunion, though after what she just said…it could put their little search on hold as he just had to respond in kind.

A single one of his hands reaches to hold her cheek, fingertips gently dance along her sunkissed flesh as his golden eyes, the color of love she spoke about gazed into her own as the smile he wore for her spread across his face. “I think that’s about the sweetest thing you’ve told me.” Considering he bodily torture she could put him through, especially in Natlan, oh that country was for the birds. In a way he really regretted making a big claim of uniting all of Teyvat considering that would have to include that big volcano she called a homeland.

Slowly, he took the time to lean into her, their lips touching for quite some time before he pulled away from her own, now giving her a rather cheesy grin. “Hmmm better than Mondstadt’s grilled fish, that's for sure. Soo, my little poet, were you working on that throughout the entire search or did it just pop into your mind because you’re that great?”

Maybe somethin along those lines and here she was again, she looked beautiful as usual..actually no scratch that, her beauty far exceeds what it once was years ago. In fact it was as if he was drawn to her like a magnet, just like that Sinbad was close again, little space between the two of then as he took a hold of her hand, stroking it rather lightly as his amber eyes met her own..hold on..he didn’t say anything..instead he simply looks at her with a shocked expression on his lips. By the geo archon!!! He was TALLER?!! He didn’t notice it from the distance but now that the distance between them had been severed..Sinbad could see the clear height difference between them now.

Ah, he was so proud that it took him a while to even flirt with her. Of course not, he was savoring the moment for only a few seconds before he opened his mouth to speak. “It really has been a long time since I've seen you Ms Zarina, you look even more beautiful than you did when I first laid eyes on you. Business should have surely gone good for you, the people would come for a show and simply stay to catch a glimpse of that radiance.”

The young man said as the petite girl that he traveled with simply covered her face with a single hand. It was always like this with her captain, and at this rate they were never going to get to Liyue on time to make that meeting with Ningguang for his official invitation to the Jade chamber. (1.0)

It was Sinbad’s birthday and so Nix had to make sure everything was prepared. He deserved nothing less then a wonderful and perfect day. She had finished the metal bracelet he wanted and picked up the custom order of Inazuman clothing for him as well. They were white and purple, also having gold details as well. There was something else she had made but wasn’t sure he would like it, so it would be saved for last. For now, the presents were set up in the room they shared for when he would walk in. “Happy birthday, Sinbad!”

It would be some time before they could actually get out of Ritou and actually start to explore the country, with the stop being Narukami island. However , his beloved Oni had called for him back towards the ship, this call he heard within the ears of his falcon Senu, Eyes then glanced skyward to watch the aerial predator upon the tip of the ship’s crow’s nest once it had taken the message from Nix. Hmm, she had something to give him? This should be great, she always found some way to give him the very best gifts. Quickly Sinbad found himself returning towards the ship, slowly heading below deck and began searching the interior.

At first he thought he would have found her above but no, the next place he chose to check was the workshop he’s managed to make for her in order for her to still continue her passion aboard the ship as they traveled toward the other regions and this is where he found her as expected. With a smile he approaches the oni and just like that she unloaded gifts onto him, it wasn’t until she said ‘happy birthday’ that he understood WHY she had given him gifts in the first place.

“That’s today?” Was it the alcohol? Or maybe he was too preoccupied with the notion of acquiring Inazuma as an ally for his plans…hmm maybe it was both, however he took a look at the kimono and then the bracelet that she had made for him. OH yes, this would make a great hiding place for Valefor…not to mention it wouldn't have the chain to fall from his neck either. Slowly he stretches forward to take the gifts, smiling  before planting a gentle kiss upon her lips. “Thanks my dearest, I didn’t suspect you’d have these things on the ship…hmm this was quite clever of you and I love them both. Thank you so much.”

Within the wilderness of Inazuma was Sinbad, he held his hands out as the purple object of energy floats above the palm of his hands. Electroculus, an object filled with electro energy. It probably has its own purpose in this world but for Sinbad it is the piece for unlocking his abilities left locked by the unknown god. This would be over the hundred and fiftieth electroculus that he’s found here and without further adieu he absorbed the energy within his own body feeling a surge in power.

“Now that hit the spo-” Call it his warrior sense or maybe it’s his innate ability to see destiny’s path. What he saw was the figure of a maiden, though a mystery if he was allowed to voice his opinion. “So, what do we have here?”
