Do you have a ref / drawing / design for wolf Jill?

i do yes !! i don't have it concrete/set in stone as sometimes my own perspective on it changes BUT at the moment its currently like a mix between these references

i do have some of my own headcanons with it though such as her eyes being the same + her back legs being a lot thicker than the front , same with the back paws , as she's able to stand for brief amounts of time . That and her shoulder blades tend to quite visibly stick out underneath the fur as well .

two . some info surrounding me : hey ! my name is ryxon , i'm 20 and go by they/them exclusively . i tend to be rather busy , as i am a fulltime farmer , along with firefighting , search and rescue , surf , freelancing , and my uni applications . i am very interested in poetry and character analysis , and use them as references when it comes to my writing , as a significant part of my jill interpretation stems from certain pieces of poetry that resonate with her . i tend to use birds as the biggest inspiration/motif when it comes to her - most prominently sparrows and crows , but wolves are also common alongside this . my jill is heavily headcanon based and i recommend reading the ABOUT page due to the way i interpret her character .

For Jill’s ships: what was the moment she realized she was in love with them and when did she confess

going to do this for the ships that i've already somewhat established/am currently writing LOL . bit of a long post so i'm going to cut it .

Jill & Sheva

Similarly to Ailani , Jill isn't really someone who's gentle or knows how to be , but the fiery streak that Sheva has matches her own and that's something she was quick to notice . Sheva shares the same wildness that she does , especially when they first met - Sheva is gentle yes , but she's also firm and knows what she's doing . Jill took a fair while at first to fall for her properly - but she can't deny that she had a small crush on her ever since the other agent came with Chris to rescue her . She properly realized her affection after a while of Sheva coming to visit her and bringing bread along with her - she always seemed to be concerned and wanting to know about her wellbeing when not many would . During her recovery it was a tough time , due to her more volatile emotional state and her tendency to push away people who wanted to help , intending on proving a point that she could take care of herself - even when it involved directly throwing out medical professionals and others from her hospital room , but Sheva was always someone she allowed in .

I think she would've confessed after a fair while , maybe about a year/year and a half or so , or longer , depending on everything . Similarly to Ailani , I think it would have definitely happened in a quiet moment between the two , maybe in this case something a little more emotionally charged , especially if it was in a moment of vulnerability for her .

Jill & Ailani

In general , Jill isn't typically somebody who's soft and warm , neither is she typically somebody who knows what it's like to be gentle as she's mostly hard corners and cut lines . Ailani has that tendency to bring it out of her though , and Jill doesn't always know why - she just does . It would have taken Jill a long time before she developed and labelled her feelings properly , just as she's been betrayed many times before - her trust is easily broken , but when she trusts , Jill trusts with all of her being . I feel as they most likely would have had a strong situationship until about just after RE5 in their main timeline . She would have realized her feelings a fair while beforehand , but inherently is hesitant regarding long-term commitments just because of her chosen career and everything else - though after a fair while post-Kijuju , I think she would realize that she can't dance around things forever , and that she needed to say something . Ailani's always stuck with her , and so did she with her , so it really wasn't a surprise to Chris and the others .

Regarding the first time she fell in love , I think it would have likely been in a quiet moment between the pair . Late night talks , spending time with her - Jill isn't always so familiar with the idea of love , so it took her a little while before she realized what it was . She would have confessed in a similar time , just a quiet moment between the two , when it was just the two of them - she isn't usually much one for big announcements or public spectacle , and when it comes to romantic interactions , values them much more when they are close-to-home .

Jill & Catalina

Jill and Catalina started off incredibly rocky, given their almost entirely different professions , and Jill's tendency to be incredibly suspicious of people within that line of work given their skills when it comes to deception and manipulation . It definitely started off with the both of them as rivals/enemies , on the occasions where they interacted , a lot of shade was thrown both ways , and they both tended to rebuttal both tendencies to be sarcastic and snarky . I think after several years Jill started to subconsciously look forward to the times they ran into each other , even if she didn't want to admit it . For Jill , especially post RE5 struggling with her guilt , and when it comes to the B.S.A.A's slow corruption , the idea of someone seeing all her flaws and still having someone for her there anyway was a big factor in her eventual fall for her , combined with their shared experiences with corrupt organizations . It took a lot of time mostly because she especially needed to develop past that suspicion and dislike that she harbored at the start , especially when it comes to her own vendetta against Umbrella and whoever worked for them . There's also something else in the respect that two rivals share , regardless of their hate for one another , that can't quite be ignored .

I'd think in this case , her feelings would have been a lot more difficult to decipher , just considering how complex both of their relationships were beforehand . I'd think a confession would have most likely been in more of a charged/tense moment compared to the more quiet ones for the ones above .

Jill & Leon

Jill's always thought Leon to be a little bit of a dork , but in a good way . He tended to find ways to bring out her humour and sarcastic rebuttals more often than with others , and it solidified after their partnership during Death Island . They would have known each other prior beforehand I'd think , but like with most of her other ships , Jill tends to have difficulty when it comes to picking apart her emotions just because she tends to shove them down more often than not . However , in the case of Jill and Leon , I doubt that she would have been the first to confess - I'd think Leon definitely went all out with his confession , and she decided to humour him and at the same time genuinely did feel the same . Thinks of him as a hopeless romantic but finds it endearing more often than not .

Jill & Chris

Chris has been a longtime ally and friend of Jill's - they met just after she left Delta Force and joined S.T.A.R.S , and the two were fast friends from the start . Jill often teased him with military humour , and often went out for beers with him and the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. teams , and they only got closer after the betrayal at the mansion , considering Jill didn't have many others , and they both had been that close beforehand . I feel that it would have been a really deep friendship at first , before it moved into something else after a long time - they had each other , and they always had . I'd think that she'd first have realized it a little prior to RE5 , most likely around the time she was engaging in BSAA operations within South America . After Kijuju , things would have slowed down a bit , but he always remained an anchor when she was uncertain . Confession-wise , I think that she would have told him in two different ways depending on how things went - either in an emotionally charged moment , which seems a little more likely to me , or a late night discussion between the two of them when she's had trouble sleeping .

Regarding relationships specifically , it can put a lot of stress and weight on them especially in the first little while when it's found out/when Jill herself learns it as well , it's difficult to reconcile it with her and find a way forward from but there's still strong chances to do exactly that .

It can tend to be a difficult thing to process , especially after the B.S.A.A. tracked her in the first few weeks and found others who had been left dead in the forest/surrounding area - she herself has a lot of issues when it comes to being able to be in control herself , being able to fix what she had done in Kijuju and also to get rid of Wesker's legacy after all that time spent there , so often after learning she can tend to be a shorter/blunter with others while she tries to reconcile that with herself - this is also a time where she would isolate herself so that she doesn't accidentally hurt someone else .

I would say though that the biggest one lies with when she's a wolf and doesn't have her full human consciousness ; as I said before in another post , wolf!jill can tend to be quite skittish around people & it makes her more likely to lash out if approached to protect herself , and it doesn't really matter who it is (unless it's someone she has a very very strong connection with , like a partner or someone similar) . So especially if that happened to another friend of hers , or someone she knew , I think it'd definitely have the chance to affect it as she usually would never hurt people close to her , but all bets are off when it comes to the wolf - and she herself doesn't want to find out she got someone hurt .

for werewolf AU, what’s the max amount of time she can stay in wolf form for? does she have a pack or a mate?

Jill typically can stay in the form for most of the night as long as there's some sort of moonlight , when it comes to later down the line shifting on her own it doesn't last as long just because it requires so much energy to maintain that due to her bigger size & energy reserves . The more she gets used to it the longer she can stay , but it does also come with drawbacks as if she's in it for a long amount of time she can tend to get a lot more volatile when it comes to temper and has a harder time maintaining her own consciousness against her inherent instincts at that point in time . The maximum amount of time considering energy and strength I wouldn't imagine to be longer than three-four hours not during night . Afterwards she tends to be quite weak & drained after expending it all , and can tend to get hit with a very strong sense of hunger to regain that .

Regarding a pack and anything similar , Jill at the moment is quite solitary , as she doesn't know anybody else who's of the same . I would imagine though if she comes across someone similar in that way , its easier for her to form an attachment & would likely stick around them a little more .

does jill still go to romania in her werewolf verse? if so how does that work / what’s her relationship with the lycans

I would say so ! I'd think it more aligns in a slightly alternate timeline from her usual Hound Wolf verse , where she's invited to join mostly because the BSAA's largely gone to shit and Chris and herself doesn't quite trust the B.S.A.A. now that they were extending research to projects they were barred from knowledge of / and/or had intents of using Jill as a weapon for the organization . So she'd still join Chris' squad as she'd have more trust and control over it I'd think , especially because at that point she'd have a little over a decade of experience with it . In the squad she acts as more of a direct-combat role as she's got like twice times the durability / strength / size in her wolf form than the other members and could tank a lot of hits while the others did crowd control .

Lycan-wise I think they would potentially recognize her as one of their own/similar to their own and Jill would perhaps do similar , even though their wolf-forms are extremely different & distinct from one another . Considering my headcanon of her size is a little larger than some of them , I'd think some of them to be unsettled especially human-form wise , as they'd be able to smell that wolf-quality on her and might not be entirely certain as to why she'd have that on her if she looks like the rest of the team .

What are some Jill AUs you’d be interested in?

I'm still expanding on a lot of stuff that I'd potentially want to write in the future (I'm open to a LOT of stuff haha) and I'm still exploring some potential ones that can be , I don't think a Lot about AUs LOL but if anyone does want to write them i am MORE than down to

the only ones i really have at the moment involve a potential AU where the events of Resident Evil didn't happen and she continued her work in Delta Force and Jill Valentine being involved in the events of Resident Evil 8 and onward , this is one that I favour a lot because I don't particularly like that they didn't have Jill there as I feel that she would have been incredibly adamant about coming with Chris . Mercenary Jill is also another really interesting one I've considered.

Jill, what are your plans for Halloween

There's a faint breath , her head tilting to the side slightly as she considered the question . Halloween wasn't something she was used to celebrating - even in her younger years , holidays were never quite a common thing for her and her father . More often than not , they were spent with just the two of them - nothing extravagant. Perhaps a movie or two , but nothing quite to the extent that Jill had noticed since she had come to the States . Especially when it came to Halloween itself - it was an incredibly rare thing where she had grown up in France .

"Nothing special . Got some old reports that I need to finish ; but god knows Chris or Sheva's going to try and pull me away ." An amused chuckle escaped her . She had never gone a single year without Chris trying to convince her to show up to the big parties he helped host at the organization - even after time and time again she had decided to stick to her work . She admired the effort , however - that much she gave him .
