there hasn't been a chance of lilly and emily talking about her faked death since she got back, lilly tried to go back to the way things were before but the things said unspoken had become a rift between them. it wasn't as much as she felt betrayed like how spencer felt but how much of lilly's treasured grief was ultimately for nothing. she liked to keep things to herself but her feelings have been threatening to spill whenever she was around her.

it was just the two of them left at the office from paperwork and it's been hours since they've talked, and that was when the team was still here.

lilly never wore make-up but today she debated if she should hide the darkness around her eyes. she didn't recall the last time she slept through the night, even with her children in bed with her she mostly gets around four hours of sleep a night. and it showed. she was hitting the energy drinks hard even drinking two before coming to work. her main focus was the job, but exhaustion made it hard for her to multitask.
