Diana Sahar Blackwood-Amari // 34 // Local news anchor
Gender/Pronouns: cis female; she/her
Date of birth: November 13, 1986
Age: 34
Hometown: Crescent Harbor, Washington
Length of time in CH: All her life.
Neighborhood: Sunstone Beach.
Occupation: Local news anchor.
Relationship status: Divorced.
Sexuality: Bisexual.
Mother to: Ibrahim Luca Blackwood-Amari.
third times the charm ?? lol. changes are listed first for the people who already know her so they don’t have to read the whole thing <3 everyone else better read the whole thing <3
CHANGES:
The crossed out Blackwood last name is no more. The hyphen lives. She claims that family.
However, to make it so I don’t have to make her URL an eye sore, she does go by just Diana Amari professionally. So she’ll respond to it too!
She’s very concerned about the image of her family.
Journalist no more! Lady has the face for TV and embraces it. She still uses her platform for her political activism, but she’s a lot more comfortable being the face of other people’s stories.
She writes some articles on the side for things she’s truly passionate about, but mostly sticks to reporting.
She has a really great relationship with both of her parents. Daddy and Mommy issues are no more. While she has her problems with them as any daughter would, it’s nothing dramatic and she loves them both dearly, and they love her.
Bisexual but has sworn off men forever<3 thanks for ruining all men for her, ryder<3
FULL INTRO:
Niece to Raymond Blackwood Sr. Her mother is his sister. Born to Rebecca Blackwood-Amari and Nasir Amari.
That makes Nate & Anna Blackwood her cousins, who she considers more like siblings than cousins due to being an only child and always wanting a little brother and sister.
Went to Crescent Harbor Prep. Was a cheerleader, captain of the debate team, and worked on the yearbook every year. Popular and sweet, was friendly with everyone, and had good grades on top of it all. Annoyingly Perfect (tm).
Didn’t have pictures of boy bands and actors in her room growing up, but a shrine dedicated to Diane Sawyer, Barbara Walters, and Nellie Bly. Was never interested in either sides of her family’s business -- always dreamed of being in the news cycle, especially CNN or 20/20.
Met @ryderirving when she was a teenager, fell madly in love with that idiot, and he proposed the night before their respective high school’s graduation.
She said yes, because she was also an idiot. Both of their families disapproved -- for obvious reasons, they were children -- and instead of listening to reason, they doubled down and eloped.
Her parents were shocked and hurt by her act of rebellion, so they did the only thing they could to teach her a hard lesson -- they cut her off financially. They still supported her emotionally the best they could, but they weren’t going to fund the life they thought she was throwing away.
Worked her way through college where she majored in communications and minored in journalism, paying for everything herself. On the day of her graduation, seeing that she was fully capable of taking care of herself despite her choices, her parents allowed her access to her trust fund again.
Things went downhill from there with Ryder. The two stayed married for ten years out of pure stubbornness, but when Diana found out the dude got a secret vasectomy, she finally found the reason she felt she needed to divorce him.
Her eyes still shoot lasers whenever someone mentions his name. Will never 4give, will never 4get. He ruined ten years of her life and he doesn’t deserve peace <3
She never goes to Hemlock because of him -- she wants to avoid him at all costs.
She changed her name from Diana Irving back to Diana Blackwood-Amari the same day she filed for divorce.
While her career took off and she was thriving, she struggled doing the one other thing she always wanted to do: be a mother.
Sick of waiting for a relationship to work out, and knowing she was running out of time to be able to safely carry a pregnancy, she found a sperm donor and got pregnant through artificial insemination at the beginning of 2020.
Ibrahim Luca Blackwood-Amari was born November 18, 2020. She calls him Rahim (sometimes Little Rahim when she’s feelin cute) and is obsessed n in love.
Has plans to have more children through adoption later!!
Her best friends are @johnbernsteinx and @larawinter
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
Sperm donor: Diana is too much of a control freak to do this the anonymous route. She would approach your character and ask them point blank, however she’s uninterested in co-parenting with anyone, so she would have asked your character to sign a contract before they started the process. She isn’t concerned about disabilities, just scandals. She hired a private investigator to make sure u dont have any skeletons :-)
...which leads to: potential sperm donor ? Diana’s first choice, but found somethin shady shady that scared her off. So she knows somethin about ur chara they don’t want her to
Old friends: Diana always had lots of friends, so I always need these thank u
New friends: self explanatory
Failed relationships: Nothing dramatic or traumatic; she would have left before it got to that point. It’s been six years since her divorce and she hasn’t fully recovered, so cold feet would have happened. She gave up on dating towards the end of 2019.
#crescent:intro#i'm SOOO excited to get more things going on her now that i've put her into words!!!#<3#(get to know me.)

Abu Farhan Azmi - Another young Politician Found With Drugs

Mumbai’s rich kids are known to take a snort or four. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise when Abu Farhan Azmi, son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi was arrested by Dubai Police for allegedly smuggling, possessing and consuming drugs.
Farhan Azmi (Ayesha Takia husband) is a restauranteur who owns Café Basilico, ChaiCoffi and Basilico House, among other illegal eateries in the city. While Abu Farhan Azmi's name has frequently appeared in the media as a result of allegations of cheating, fraud, and illegal operations at his different restaurants, it was not news when he was charged with drug consuming and dealing in Dubai.
Abu Farhan Azmi along with three other scions of Mumbai’s business families- Shaan Sippy, Bonny Chhabria and Prasad Dandekar had gone to Dubai to attend a car racing event. They were reportedly chilling out in the city’s notorious Imperial Hotel bar- in which underworld dons Iqbal Mirchi and Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Anees are said to have a stake, when a special anti-narcotics squad raided it. The Dubai police found charas, weighing about five grams which were found in cigarettes recovered from the hotel room in which the four were arrested.
Furthermore, the Dubai police also reportedly found some cocaine and hashish in their hotel room as well as in the rented car which was registered in the name of Abu Farhan Azmi. Son of Samajwadi Party MP Abu Azmi who was absolved in the 1993 bomb blasts case for alleged links with Dawood Ibrahim, Farhan was then charged with drug consuming and dealing as reported by an officer from Dubai’s Al-Rifa police station.
The crime branch also suspected that narco kingpin Iqbal Mirchi, who is accused of having Benami stakes in Imperial Hotel, had a role to play in the narcotics house. With relations to the underworld and consuming illegal drugs, Abu Farhan Azmi is indeed a corrupted politician and restauranteur who is walking freely in the country.
This is a classic example of how with money and influence- the powerful people in our country misuse their power to continue engaging in illegal activities without facing the consequences for the same.

This is a classic example of how with money and influence- the powerful people in our country misuse their power to continue engaging in illegal activities without facing the consequences for the same.

ABDIKAN HATIMU!
Jargon diatas memang sudah identik dengan franchise manga/anime Shingeki no Kyojin atau Attack on Titan. First Impression waktu pertama kali membaca/menonton ini: Masya Allah, luar biasa!
Shinzooouu woo Sasageyooo!
Wallahu'alam bishowab

Abu Farhan Azmi - The biggest substance abuser

Mumbai is popularly known as the city of dreams, dirty politics and mafia don. Young politicians like Farhan Azmi (Ayesha Takia’s husband), being linked to Mumbai’s dark underworld and supposedly murky politics, is hardly the first in Maharashtra politics. The underworld connections run deep in Mumbai politics. In fact, the underworld has been part of the political narrative for more than three decades.
Abu Farhan Azmi is the Son of SP leader Abu Asim Azmi, who was accused in the 1993 bomb blast case. Following the serial bomb blasts of March 1993 in Mumbai, Abu Asim Azmi was arrested under TADA for his alleged role in the blasts. He was accused of providing air tickets to some of the conspirators who fled the city. Abu Asim Azmi was also accused of having links with overseas-based mafia don Dawood Ibrahim.
In the case of Abu Farhan Azmi who hails from a political family with such a strong criminal record, the apple didn’t fall free from the tree. On October 21, 2003 Abu Farhan Azmi’s first leg with controversy occurred when he was caught and arrested by Dubai Police for allegedly smuggling, possessing and consuming drugs.
Dubai’s special anti-narcotics squad raided Farhan’s hotel suite in the city’s notorious Imperial Hotel- in which underworld dons Iqbal Mirchi and Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Anees have a stake and found charas. The Dubai police also found some cocaine and hashish in the rented car which was registered in the name of Abu Farhan Azmi. The narco kingpin Iqbal Mirchi, who is suspected of having Benami stakes in Imperial Hotel, also has a role to play in the narcotics house.
Following this, Abu Farhan Azmi started his various illegal eateries in Mumbai like Koyla, Café Basilico and Basilico House, among others in the city. He was later charged on the grounds of cheating, fraud, and illegal operations for his different restaurants and one of his restaurants, Koyla was also partially demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai had summoned Abu Aslam Azmi, nephew of Abu Asim Azmi, in connection with a drug case. He was also previously summoned by the Goa unit of NCB and arrested by the Delhi Special Cell in connection with another narcotics case.
With SP leader Abu Asim Azmi, his son- Abu Farhan Azmi and nephew- Abu Aslam Azmi found in connection with drug abuse and underworld connection cases, the Azmi family is the perfect example of a corrupted Indian political family. Using money power and muscle, the family is free of criminal records and punishment. This just demonstrates the poor state of our Indian political system and criminal justice of our country.

Folk Emperor of Bangla Song - Shah Abdul Karim
Shah Abdul Karim (February 15, 1916 - September 12, 2009) was a Baul musician from Bangladesh. He is a Legend of bangla music. He was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 2001 for outstanding musical performances. He also received the Kotha-Shahitayk Prize Drouhee Abdur Rouf Choudhury in 2000. He died in Sylhet on September 12, 2009 due to respiratory problems. He has written thousands of bangla folk songs. But the sad fact is, his songs got very popular in cities before some years of his death.
Early in life Shah Abdul Karim was born on February 15, 1916 in the village of Dhola Ujan, Dera Thana in Sunamganj in Sylhet. Growing up in poverty and facing difficulties, he began his thoughts and feelings in a very early musical expression. Ektara (one-string instrument most often used in traditional music from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt), a traditional stringed instrument was only his constant companion. However, poverty forced him to seek employment to work in agriculture. As he grew up, he was trained in religious music with his master Shah Ibrahim Baul Mastan Baksh. Mastan came from Sreepur peer mohol. Personal life Shah Abdul karim's wife name was Aftabunnessa. He called her Sarala with love. Shah Abdul Karim had a son named Shah Nur Jalal. Works Shah Abdul Karim has written and composed more than 1500 folk songs. These songs are organized in six books: Dholmela, Gano Sangeet, Bhatir Chithi, Aftab Sangeet and Kalnir Kooley, Kalnir Dheu. The Bangla Academy has translated ten of his folk songs into English.

[TASK 176: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES]
There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 90+ Emirati faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever faceclaim or whichever project you desire.
Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!
THE TASK - scroll down for FC’s!
STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.

[TASK 159: SUDAN]
There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 200+ Sudanese faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source.
THINGS YOU CAN MAKE FOR THIS TASK - examples are linked!
Stumped for ideas? Maybe make a masterlist or graphic of your favourite faceclaims. A masterlist of names. Plot ideas or screencaps from a music video preformed by an artist. Masterlist of quotes and lyrics that can be used for starters, thread titles or tags. Guides on culture and customs.
