hi love xx here are some of my favourite neteyam series xx i agree with you, it's a lot more one-shot based at the moment, i do miss the series too :( i focused on more angsty fics cause that's what i like to read most, but not everything in here is angst

action//reaction by my amazing @sulieykte - still a landmark in avatar writing and one of my personal favourites! lys has such a gift when it comes to writing and it definitely shines in this series!

one of us by @forever--darling - the fic that got me into avatar and made me want to write my own series, i would highly recommend it

the mightiest by @makoodles - her writing genuinely needs no introduction, chances are if you've been in the fandom for a little while you know of her incredible writing chops, and this is her neteyam two shot story, it's just mouth watering, as is everything she creates

our song chord by @blue-slxt - such a interesting premise and it's full of blue's amazing writing and tantalising smut, must read xx

not series but definitely worth the read:

everything by @lanasblood - she is INCREDIBLE and although she's not active anymore, she is such a jewel and such an incredible writer in the fandom (i miss her so much can u tell)

Ngl, I kinda get the haters. Seeing beautiful girls who are also kind and talented and have a career/job going, is kinda intimidating. I would be a hater, too. :')

I feel like this is going about it the wrong way? I understand the urge because there’s a lot of internalised misogyny that we are brought up with that tells us we have to compete or be jealous of girls we perceive as “threats”, but this is something you can grow out of. I never look at a girl who’s prettier/smarter/wealthier/doing better than me and think “i need to take her down a peg/i need to be jealous/hate on her”. I think “that’s so incredible, that she managed to achieve this/how kind she is/how talented she is, i aspire to be this way, i want to learn to be more like her”. We need to stop thinking of each other as competition, and think of each other as allies, as inspiration.

Men do it. Men drool and jack off over the men they perceive as “better” - elon musk, steve jobs, warren buffet. They have podcasts and instagram pages dedicated to worshipping these men, to emulating them - they dress like them, they talk like them, they invest like them. They don’t feel the need to tear them down, talk about their physical imperfections or flaws, talk about how others do it “better”, or are “more handsome” etc.

They want us to tear each other down. They want us to be enemies, to fight, so they can stay on top. Don’t give into the urge. Be better than that. Be smarter than that. Life is so much better when you stand with women, instead of against them, I promise. x

I still consider myself an avatar blog for sure, but until i get inspired again and have time to come back to writing for it and really earn the title of an avatar blog again hahaahha, this blog will probably be a little more multifandom and more of the stuff i enjoy.

No, my readers don’t have names, but they do have nicknames that are related to the story, because it makes it a bit easier when it comes to being addressed, but there is no discernible characteristic that would alienate any readers, or at least i tried my hardest not to do that!!!

hi love xx no i didn't leave it, the avatar fandom means so much to me, and it always will, and i promise i will be back, i think i've just needed to take a step back from being active in it as much as i used to because there's just so much i look at and i don't align with at the moment.

i want to write and finish my stories, and i will, but at the moment it doesn't feel like anybody's really waiting for them, so i took a break to focus on my work and my life, but if anybody still wants to read them, i will try to finish some stuff this holiday season xx

HAHAHAHAHAHA this made me laugh so much, not you calling me out at 8 o’clock in the morning. Ok let’s go through the reasons:

1. I like it HAHAHAAHAH. Probably the only real reason. I write these things self indulgently to a certain extent too, anyone who says they don’t is lying. I have the biggest daddy kink and I write it with men who I want to make me call them daddy, it’s that simple HAHAHHAHAH

2. I think it fits him. I am currently playing through the modern warfare campaign, so obviously i don’t have the BEST sense of his character yet, but to me (right now) it seems like something he’d be into w the right person. I mean he’s older, has a dry sense of humour, he’s dominant and powerful. In my head he fits the bill. I might be wrong, and that would be on me obviously but still doesn’t change the first and main reason.

BUT I will do my best to not include it in all my fics x hope this clarifies hahahah.
