1. Creepy stories / experiences? Please!! You’re asking me this, at 12AM. Well if it counts as a creepy story even though it’s 100% a dream, I have nightmares of floating and people grabbing my face and a black mannequin in the corner of my room which is terrifying so smh at whatever my brain is on.

2. Describe your ideal day. An entire day where I play FFXV without worrying about productivity or life. Prompto actually looks at the camera properly, Noct smiles and at the end of the day, my dinner looks exactly like the dish Ignis cooked at camp.

3. Least favourite AU tropes and why The Soulmate AU. Okay I just dislike the idea of people being ‘perfectly matched’ for each other?? Like how does that work? Idk it just feels cheap to me. Though there are fics that challenge the trope and those are great.

4. What time do you go to bed? (Please sleep at a decent time yall) 12AM? 1AM?? Now???

5. Are you an emotional person / cry easily? Not really? Unless someone yells at me then Goodbye

6. Your catchphrase and how it became your catchphrase Go hard or go home because I’m always about trying my hardest or y’know, going home to rest because that’s wholesome.

8. Name something or someone who influences your writing, art or characterization. Off the top of my head, Shirow Miwa definitely inspired me to pick up inking many years back. Before seeing their work, blacks and whites were just blacks and whites. But they put textures into their inking and really got me into the whole drawing with black and white thing. Another artist would be Runmonsterun, who makes me aspire to make my art as interesting and lively as hers.

9. Do you prefer to plot things out, or improvise? I actually prefer improvising....when it works out. But that really only goes well for short things where the muse manages to kinda power me through. Plotting things out generally works better, and I especially like to plan themes into my writing.

10. Weirdest thing you have in your room now. I don’t know?? A packet of expired biscuits that I really don’t know why it’s still there¿¿

11. First vs current impression of me? I thought you were cool. But you were a nasty memer. Hahaha jk but I thought you were calm and collected?? But then you turned out to be a dork and actually I’m glad because we can crack lame jokes together I mean who wants to be intellectuals having a calm discussion when we can mEME OUT AND YELL TOGETHER?? yea, friends are great

In 2015, Nisha Harish completed the grueling six-day, 156-mile (251 km) annual race across the Moroccan desert known as the Marathon des Sables. Competitors must carry everything they need with them, so there’s no room for luxuries. Despite this, Nisha made sure to pack her iPhone so that she could take notes in Evernote at the end of each day. Upon completing the race, she turned those notes into a successful book, Big Steps, Long Strides, about her experience.

Nisha explains, “I wanted to write a book, but it needed to fit into my lifestyle. Evernote gave me that flexibility.” And considering that she had to carry her note-taking device across the burning desert with her, it’s fair to say that, without Evernote in her pack, Nisha might not have realized her goal. “It would be too simplistic to say that Evernote allows people to make notes because it has allowed me to achieve a major life ambition.”

Chris Hardwick is everywhere at the moment. He has a media empire (The Nerdist), a TV show on AMC (Talking Dead), and a festival-headlining stand-up act. He clearly doesn’t stay in one place for very long.

As a busy, successful performer, one of Chris’s biggest challenges is not coming up with new material, but keeping the inevitable flood of ideas organized. Joan Rivers, the legendary comedian, and mentor to Chris, had a multitude of note cards which she organized in little drawers. “Some people use notebooks; other people use cocktail napkins,” Chris says. “I will mostly write big ideas and work my stuff out in Evernote.”

Chris organizes his ideas into notebooks, adding tags as he goes. This allows him to spot connections between different thoughts that were not apparent before. “I realize there’s a through-line that I didn’t consciously intend, but my subconscious brain was trying to express. All these ideas are actually weirdly connected, as disparate as they might seem.” Sometimes Chris even uses Evernote when he’s performing: “I have gone on stage when I’m trying new stuff, and I just have Evernote open in presentation mode and I have the phone down on the stool.”

As Chris readily admits, though, the key to making it all work is capturing your ideas in the first place. “In the same way that you would organize a closet,” he says, “it allows you to do that emotionally with your life in all the intangible things that you can’t see, but you experience. But you can’t do that unless you really start tracking all that stuff.”

Aaron Mahnke is a best-selling author and the host and producer of Lore, the critically-acclaimed series which began as a podcast and has now expanded into television, a book series, and a national live tour. Aaron’s many creative projects take up an enormous amount of his time; that’s why the ability to capture ideas in Evernote is vital to his success.

“Writing is creative, yes, but it’s also work. It’s just a task,” Aaron says. And to complete any task, you need the right tools. For a long time, Evernote was the place where Aaron stored links, images, notes, scraps, and ideas in clearly-labeled notebooks. It was what he called a “someday box.” Now, however, it fuels his ongoing creative process.

To produce Lore, Aaron uses a gamut of Evernote features, from Web Clipper, marking up PDFs, and tagging, to multi-layered, interconnected notebook stacks that tie together all the elements of his research and writing.

“It’s a process that sounds simple on paper,” Aaron says. “I pick a topic I find interesting, and then research every aspect of it that I can. I read for hours, taking notes and highlighting pieces of story or information. And when I’ve filled my head with everything, I find a quiet place and think through the outline. A lot of that happens in Evernote.”

The work of preparing to write, including creating character histories and story timelines, can stymie even the most seasoned writer. Then, when the time comes to create your ‘magnum opus’—using whatever tool you choose—you’ll find it easier to stay on track when you refer back to the research you’ve stored handily in Evernote.

oh god. how did it come to this? to some extent, you've gone so far past your own idea of "human" that it must be kind of fun, right? maybe. I'm not sure. as an artefact of cosmic horror, you're wild and wacky and colorful and people are probably drawn to that, but you will never let them know you. the mystery intrigues for a while, but it'll wear everyone down. it'll wear you down, too. who are you? do you remember? are you so far gone that you can't go back? and maybe that's the most tragic thing of all- becoming so distorted in your identity, and for so long, that no matter how hard you want to return you can't ever seem to figure it out. but you've learned a vast amount up in the stars, and people will work hard to get to know you. it doesn't matter who you used to be. sometimes, you should just start from scratch: give yourself a name, a birthday. let someone celebrate these things with you. ಌ

- well, you're not. but that's what the passenger across from you is thinking as you sit there, completely oblivious. you're mysterious, and serene, and look so natural sitting there on the train they think your feet might be bolted to the floor the way the chairs and safety rails are. you're in your own world, you're reading something with an intriguing title, and without even knowing it passengers are praying for some reason that you'll look up and ask for their number. you don't, of course. and they don't ask for yours, either. how could they disturb such a peaceful moment? but despite the fact that nothing was said, they managed to fall in love with you for 15 minutes. for the rest of the day they think about what your voice might've sounded like, what your interests might've been, how you might've smiled at them like they were your whole world if they'd managed to make you feel that way. you have that effect on people, in case you didn't know.
