it felt like a l i m b o, a place that looked like everything she knew but yet felt like the air was still, like paused. she had arrived and stayed here for at least two days to keep investigating, to keep looking for the universe that kept her children alive and without a mother, the safest option for her. wanda had to be very careful not to interfere with any universe as this was the ONLY opportunity she had. as she sat inside a cafe plotting her strategy, she heard her name being called out; a distant echo, but the voice sounded familiar. the woman then lifted her head and looked around, wondering where the sound came from, but soon the figure appeared in front of her. he looked disheveled and scared, and his voice sounded raggedy like he was d e s p e r a t e and out of breath. finally, wanda spoke: ❝stephen? are you alright?❞
