I've managed to beat up the train blorbos in the pasio subway extreme battles. Here's the ending cutscene that plays out for those who couldn't make it this far:

#submas #pmex spoilers #subway boss emmet #subway boss ingo #pmex #pokemas #their battle was annoyingly tough and it was clearly designed to be done with arc suit cynthia #all extreme battles are designed to be done with with specific sync pairs but ofc theirs' were like that #also it was really important that you don't let them inflict status conditions otherwise they regain chunks of their health after each turn #or i think that happens after they attack a target with a status condition? The game does not explain to you how it works #so yeah you better have sync pairs that are immune to trapping or burn or paralysis or spend resources to make them immune #“I didn't think you'd make it through!” Believe me Ingo I'm as surprised as you are it took so much trail and error
