The Untouched Mountainside (300 word flash fiction)

Solo could sort of taste the sweet scents in the air from yellow and blue wildflowers dappling the landscape...

It was a warmly serene day, and Laplace was actually letting him think. Of course, the fiery ocean-blue EM being was probably pondering things too, that is, if he wasn’t already distracted by another dragonfly that seemed all too aware of his presence.

Neither had spoken a word all day. Neither felt the need to with all the chattering sounds of nature; songbirds, cicadas, and frogs acting in chorus.

Sounds trickled down the mountainside along with a modest silvery stream of fresh water far too cold to bath in. Eroding rocks that defined the mountain’s foot peaked through thick patches of deep green moss laying the foundation for scraggly undergrowth between seemingly ancient trees. Their timeless though scant shade offered a welcome shield against the heat of the day. Solo knew it wouldn’t seem that bright to ordinary people at this hour, but to his eyes, any bright daylight was almost too much to tolerate.

At first, the lone Murian hoped there’d have been some sign of ancient humans there, some touch of Mu, or even just a petroglyph revealing a long forgotten tribe. But the more he looked, the more he felt this place had somehow evaded human touch for millennia. That the verdant landscape had managed to stand defiant of human meddling for so long came as a surprising comfort, and the more he thought about it, the less he wanted to change anything about it. Resting back to the cool bark of the tree that he felt was the oldest, his eyes took one last look at the lone Wave Road that brought him there against the empty sky, and finally drifted off into a rare peaceful nap.

Turns out he didn't know so Ima share this just in case, people talking but especially loud people like my dad throw off their ability to hunt bugs in the same way a house party at 2am on 4/20 keeps my ass awake but not energetic enough to make food - yeah I could go to the party and get food but it might not be the best with all the strangers getting high that I don't know. It's a risk to hunt near humans because we have a history of freaking out or hurting them when they do roll up out of self defense when really they want those bugs trying to eat your ass. And if you're calm and chill like me, sometimes they just be smacking into you if you're sitting outside and they think you're a tree or stump.

In short, don't wear headphones on at night if you're sitting outside for many safety reasons but also because if those high pitched squeaks are getting closer, you should probably get out of the way or move for your own safety before a or multiple bats hit/land onto you with a meaty slap & confused squeaking

And if you're hearing different pitches- is a cloud of bats, duck to the right or left and make noise (I usually do tiny pop noises to not scare them since it's usually babies and younger bats who fuck up and fly too low) so they know you're there and can move

Sometimes you just need to write a villain that is so immoral, has no tragic backstory and just thrives on evil, chaos.

While I do love my complex, tragedy turned villains, I also like ordinary bastards that have nothing excusable about them. They are so wretched and despicable, that it is amazing.

For me, it is the following muse:

There is nothing to pity here. Just a demoness out here trying to slaughter all those who gets in her and Naraku's way.

Because of how I write her and how she's intertwined with Naraku, she eventually gets her heart. But even before that, she doesn't think of her time with Naraku as imprisonment. She fully enjoys it. One could say she loves him--which ultimately is self love if you think about it lolol.

They're both on the same horrifying wavelength --to the point that Naraku has no doubts about her loyalty--unlike his other reincarnations.

"We can do some live stream of some simple mission or do Q&A regarding spirits and such! Providing experience and advice to our viewers and followers!" Daichi gave the idea.

Taz is taken aback and thinks about it. "I like the Q&A thing!" She said with her hand raised. But livestreaming their missions. Is that allowed?

last month i made myself a bead bracelet with pretty beads that kinda look like rocks and with letter beads that spelled out "fagdyke" and i really liked it but it just exploded, like the string snapped and all the beads scattered when i was outside, and i couldn't find most of the beads, my life sucks

If you were the veteran who started the Krills in the golden wasteland without warning the rest of us who were clearly burning plants for candle wax; I hope you glitch out during Eye of Eden & you have to do it three times in a row before you can play normally again

I ended up in the worst position out of the 7 of us who were purposely left behind and I lost 8 stars; I got my candle wax but couldn’t refresh anywhere and got tag teamed by 2 Krill when attempting to go home and being unable too in time because it respawned me in sight of the Krill

You literally looked at me and did a dance before running through the door as I had to hide under a fucking plank because the Krills spawned on me you fucker
