although there's no official sub-leader position, jungwon says seraph holds the group's unofficial sub-leader title. it wasn't just because seraph was the (second) eldest, but he was a very responsible member, and jungwon trusted him to take care of the others when he's not around for whatever reason. seraph doesn't mind it either. he likes to help jungwon with his leader duties, especially since jungwon was one of the youngest members. seraph really respects jungwon for keeping up with the members and leading them all, and often makes sure jungwon doesn't overwhelm himself.

being the only other '01 member and his only hyung, heesung and seraph are almost an inseparable duo. they're always with each other; where one was, the other was bound to be near. seraph doesn't always rely on heesung though (he was brought up to be more of an independent individual), but seraph sometimes find himself slipping into heesung's side for comfort when he's going through conflicts or have problems with anything. while he doesn't show it to the others, heesung is the only one who can see seraph's vulnerable side and is always there for him when he needs it.

seraph is very comfortable with jay to the point where he allows jay to drop honorifics when it's just the two of them. he finds it easy to relate to him (and jake) for being foreigners and comfortably converses with him more in english. jay often helps him with his korean studies too and sometimes help explain things when seraph has a hard time understand and translating. they often joke about sharing the same braincell as they often share the same thinking sometimes and could tell each other's mood pretty easily.

another part of the foreigner line, seraph also comfortably talks to him more in english when it's just the two of them. they're not too close, seraph finds comfort in him when he needs it, though seraph holds back from showing his vulnerable side to jake (and anyone else for that matter). however, jake finds it easy to make seraph laugh and smile, so it's always his mission to make him happy every day.

fans call them the visual kings, and it's no surprise as to why. they both have killer looks. they used to be pretty awkward with each other when they first met in I-LAND, but as the show neared it's ending, they showed signs of interaction and slowly got less awkward with each other. they seem to match each other's personalities pretty well, getting along well these days and love to tease each other often.

seraph can't deny that he has (platonically) fallen for sunoo's charms. when he first met him on I-LAND he was thrown off by his stage duality, but admires his vocals. he's often seen doting on the younger boy, always seeming to throw away his logic when it comes to sunoo. it amuses sunoo how seraph easily agrees with what he says. sunoo's smiles are contagious to seraph, and he always finds himself smiling once sunoo walks into the room. they're often seen clinging to each other while they're out and about, mostly hugging or holding hands.

when he first met niki on I-LAND, seraph made it his job to take care of the younger one, as he was pretty young at the time. he made sure niki was always comfortable and that nothing stressed and bothered him. he used to be so small and cute to seraph, and now he's surprised at how niki has grown so much and matured a lot more. it still doesn't stop seraph from babying niki though from time to time, despite the younger boy's protests. nowadays, they like to bicker and tease each other, almost like a tom and jerry type of relationship.
