——————– ❁ ❜  AT THE REMARK SHEVA FINDS an eyebrow ticks upwards, amused. chris had warned her that ellie was a boisterous child and often said what was on her mind without hindrance. a hand moves to her hip, braced and curled into a fist as her weight shifts. “ was he? i can’t wait to hear all about what he’s said about me while i wasn’t around. it’s nice meeting you, finally, ellie.” offering her free hand for a handshake, sheva grins wide enough to make her eyes crinkle.

——————– ❁ ❜  AS  THOUGH A  SUMMONS ,  SHEVA  reaches  behind  herself  to  pull a  magazine  she  had  so  carefully  strapped  to herself  in  foresight .  with  hand  she  squeezes  the  trigger  of  her  own  pistol ,  bullets  boring  into  cold  flesh .  with  the   distraction ,  she  was  unable  to  topple  all  of  the  walking  corpses  for  good ,  but  a  few  choice  shots  to  kneecaps  gave  her  enough  leeway  to be  attentive .  with  an  artful  toss ,  the  ammunition  went   sailing  into  an  arc  &  into scarlet’s  waiting  grip .   ❛   i’ve  got  you  scar’ -- we’re  almost  through . ❜
