hihi i just wanted to ask, how'd u learn japanese and do u have any apps/websites/books or whatever to look into when learning :3

hey lovely !! i grew up in japan so thats how i learned most of my japanese but this is my advice on how to learn the language more effectively !! ( ≧ᗜ≦)

O1 consume japanese media ! anime is a good start but the japanese they speak isn’t very realistic from how local people speak so i recommend japanese tv shows, japanese books, or simply interact with japanese speaking people !

O2 google translate isn’t very effective so i recommend jisho.org ! when you don’t know a word all you have to do is type the word and it’ll generate the meaning. and my second recommendation is deepL ! i use it for sentences most of the time, it’s very helpful hehe ><

O3 be consistent with learning ! everyday i speak with my japanese friends to improve my japanese and i also study with my workbook
