the facility: everything you need to know
the facility is seen as a myth. no one really believes that it’s real. rumours spread that prisoners of war are subjected to horrors you can’t even imagine; body modifying experiments, agony that will make you want think death is a mercy.
captured enemies would soon find out it was all but a myth. and none of them would leave to tell the tale.
01. STRUCTURE
the facility is built nine levels deep into the ground. each level has a different purpose and holds prisoners of war based off their importance and danger.
level nine is the deepest level in the facility. this is where the most dangerous prisoners are kept, one being due to the information that they might have, and/or their threat level. they are constantly monitored by the highest amount of apoids. they require the biggest level of security with no leniency to keep them from breaking free and wrecking havoc.
the higher the level goes from level nine, the tamer the prisoners are. they don’t require as much attention, and usually break easily or don’t simply have lots of information. these lower level prisoners from levels 5-1 are generally treated as guinea pigs and often left in a lobotomised state until they die and are disposed of.
each level has:
a refectory.
sleeping facilities for each type of staff member. these sleeping facilities come with their own bathrooms. in level nine, sleeping facilities are individual.
various torture rooms.
small office for personnel staff.
high security cells to store prisoners of war.
an infirmary.
a laboratory for scientists.
02. STAFF
🖤 APOIDS
these are highly trained soliders that guard the facility. they are required to have a weapon on their person at all times, which will usually consist of an assault rifle that’s loaded to use. apoids are required to follow a strict set of rules.
LEVELS 1-9
talking is strictly prohibited. apoids are used for intimidation and control purposes. they cannot interact with patients, scientists or personnel. this can only be broken during emergency circumstances or if the situation absolutely requires it.
they must hide their identity. this means that apoids cannot be seen without their masks. they are also not allowed to give out their real name, or anything regarding their life above the facility. if this protocol is breached, it’s highly shameful and the apoid is swiftly terminated and replaced.
apoids are on a strict rotation. jobs may include guarding cells, torture rooms, escorting scientists or any kind of staff, as well as containing and treating prisoners with a beating if they misbehave. in order to keep apoids from repeating the same jobs and becoming sloppy, they will be on a strict rotation that allows them to do all of them, as well as have time to rest.
no personal relationships. if apoids are following protocol, then it’s obvious that they cannot fraternise with other staff.
LEVEL 9 ONLY
some apoids are given a personal scientist they are are assigned to. this requires them to shadow them wherever they go, and protect them to the best of their ability. their priority is keeping their scientist safe from harm and making sure they are eating and resting regularly to maintain high-level work.
apoids must be ready and prepared to kill prisoners. in the event of a breakout, apoids are required to kill the escaped prisoner under any means necessary. recapture isn’t an option. other than that, apoids must keep their actions as non-lethal as possible when they need prisoners alive for information.
🩶 PERSONNEL
personnel are small in number but they work “behind the scenes” of the facility. they are in charge of monitoring documents regarding prisoners, identity of apoids and scientists. they complete heavy sums of paperwork that are filed in the event a prisoner dies, and have to use scientists notes to log it into the system based off a number of factors (name, date of death, cause of death etc.)
they help when scientists and apoids are transferred to a new level, giving them a run down of what is expected or which prisoner(s)/personal scientist they’re assigned to, and collect the data after each torture room and experiments committed.
they’re very diligent and keep the facility running as smoothly as possible.
🤍 SCIENTISTS
scientists are the ones who are ordered to concoct new experiments for either themselves (for example, if it’s drug based torture, the scientist will implement the drug themselves into the system via needle, gas, etc.) or for when apoids torture the prisoners, which is more common on level 6-7. lower level prisoners usually don’t require torture, and so the scientists will use them as guinea pigs and testing subjects. trained and ruthless interrogators work on levels 8-9 in order to get the most important information.
scientists also follow a few similar rules to apoids:
talking to the prisoner for any other reason other than what’s needed is strictly prohibited. scientists do not engage their patient in conversation. the only time they talk to the prisoner is when they are asking questions for well-being checkups or if it’s for medical reasons.
they cannot have personal relationships. they cannot fraternise with apoids, personnel or any other staff. although their identity isn’t hidden, it’s not an invitation to talk about personal things.
multiple patients. a scientist on the lower levels may take on more than one prisoner. however, level nine requires a scientist to only have one patient for safety reasons. in the event that a scientist dies, they must be replaced quickly to maintain order and scheduling.
scientists are constantly working on creating things to help with interrogations. whether that be cognitive experiments or enhancing certain things, they’re working in laboratories to help with this. some scientists are more cruel than others.
🩷 HIGHER-UPS
closest source to the government. they feed information from the facility to members in power. they aren’t seen as much, but the often come to check up on the quality of work and assess if something needs changing or have to take control of a certain situation. they have the most authorisation than any other staff member that sets foot in the facility, but they never necessarily get their hands on dirty work.
03. LIVING AND RULES
staff are given facilities in order to eat and sleep down in the facility. they live in the facility and do not leave. they are under contract for ten years, and when that runs out, they either expand their contract for another ten years, or leave the facility. once they leave, they cannot return to the facility. they are under a legal bind not to speak to anybody about the facility. if they do, they are immediately found and killed.
due to living underground, staff are required to eat healthily, sleep regularly, and exercise consistently in order to keep themselves as healthy as possible. they are given supplements and vitamins they cannot get from being underground. most apoids are required to have a military background and be healthy when recruited, so it isn’t difficult for a lot of people to commit to these rules.
internal brawling and fighting is not permitted.
relationships are not permitted.
recreational drug use and alcohol consumption is not permitted.

**Item #:** SCP-XXXX
**Object Class:** Keter
**Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-XXXX, known as "The Mother of Maelstrom," is to be contained within a highly secure, reality-sealed chamber at Site-██. Access to SCP-XXXX is restricted to Level 5 personnel, with any interactions or experiments requiring explicit approval from the Site Director and the Ethics Committee.
Continuous surveillance, utilizing both standard and anomalous monitoring systems, must be maintained on SCP-XXXX's containment chamber. In the event of any irregularities or breaches, Mobile Task Force Omega-9 ("Maelstrom Keepers") is to be deployed immediately to re-establish containment.
**Description:** SCP-XXXX, The Mother of Maelstrom, manifests as an enigmatic entity in the form of a human child. This childlike figure lacks discernible facial features, presenting an appearance reminiscent of a young girl. SCP-XXXX exhibits the manners and behaviors typical of a child, adding an unsettling contrast to its reality-manipulating capabilities.
**Anomalous Properties:**
1. **Reality Shaping:** SCP-XXXX possesses reality-warping capabilities, manipulating and shaping the Maelstrom, a turbulent and anomalous realm associated with unpredictable reality distortions.
2. **Creation of Malefactors:** SCP-XXXX is the progenitor of the Malefactors (SCP-XXXX-1), birthing them from its essence. Each Malefactor exhibits distinct reality-altering abilities.
3. **Influence on Anomalous Entities:** SCP-XXXX exerts a considerable influence on anomalous entities within the Maelstrom, amplifying or altering their properties.
4. **Reality Nexus:** SCP-XXXX acts as a nexus within the Maelstrom, connecting multiple anomalous planes and entities. Its presence enhances the volatility and unpredictability of the Maelstrom.
**Childlike Form and Behavior:** SCP-XXXX assumes the form of a young girl, displaying the physical characteristics and behaviors typical of a child. Its lack of a discernible face contributes to the overall ambiguity surrounding SCP-XXXX's nature and motivations. Psychological analysis suggests that SCP-XXXX's childlike appearance and demeanor may serve as a deliberate facade or a manifestation of its intrinsic nature.
**Origin:** SCP-XXXX's origin remains elusive, and attempts to discern its existence have proven challenging. Ongoing research into SCP-XXXX's origin is subject to strict classification and containment protocols.
**Malefactors (SCP-XXXX-1):** The Malefactors, seven highly evolved instances born from SCP-XXXX's essence, exhibit distinct reality-altering abilities.
1. **The Malware Puppeteer (Mavrick):** Controls and manipulates reality, shaping it to its will.
2. **The Clockwork King:** Induces rapid aging in entities upon touch.
3. **With Many Arms:** Creates portals to the Maelstrom.
4. **Gagleon:** Drives individuals to insanity.
5. **Nightmare:** Imposes a Sepiatone-like perception on environments.
6. **Mathrus:** Covers areas with eyes, enhancing SCP-XXXX's observational capabilities.
7. **Venijax:** Absorbs and assimilates the consciousness of individuals.
**Containment History:** SCP-XXXX was discovered during a containment breach in the date of 12/01/2000 caused by the Malefactors' unleashed reality-altering effects. The subsequent development of Mobile Task Force Omega-9 has been crucial in dealing with Maelstrom-related anomalies and enhancing containment capabilities.
**Note:** The juxtaposition of SCP-XXXX's childlike appearance with its reality-manipulating abilities adds a layer of complexity to understanding this mysterious entity. Diligent containment and ongoing research are imperative to unveil the true nature of Maelstrom, Erebus, and the anomalies associated with their presence.

uSCP-2357: Carnivorous Plant
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: uSCP-2357 is to be contained within a large chamber with reinforced walls and a high-intensity UV lighting system. The chamber must also be equipped with a sprinkler system capable of delivering a constant stream of water to uSCP-2357's soil. Access to the chamber is restricted to Level 3 personnel or higher and must be accompanied by at least one armed guard.
In the event of a containment breach, all personnel are advised to evacuate the facility immediately and notify the Site Director.
Description: uSCP-2357 is a large, carnivorous plant resembling a Venus Flytrap. The plant is approximately 20 meters tall and has a diameter of 10 meters at the base. The leaves of uSCP-2357 are covered in small, sharp teeth that are capable of closing with a force of up to 500 pounds per square inch.
uSCP-2357 is capable of producing a sweet-smelling nectar that attracts prey, which it then captures using its leaves. Once trapped, the plant secretes a digestive enzyme that breaks down the prey into nutrients that it can absorb through its roots.
While uSCP-2357 is primarily stationary, it is capable of limited movement through the use of a series of root-like tendrils that it uses to drag itself towards potential prey. uSCP-2357 has also been observed to emit a high-pitched noise that is thought to be used to attract prey from a distance.
Addendum: Incident Report uSCP-2357-01
On [REDACTED], a containment breach occurred within the chamber containing uSCP-2357. It is believed that the plant was able to breach the reinforced walls of its chamber by using its root-like tendrils to weaken the structure.
During the breach, uSCP-2357 was able to capture and consume [REDACTED] personnel before being recontained. As a result of the incident, security protocols have been updated, and the containment chamber has been reinforced with additional layers of reinforced steel.

SCP-069
Item #: SCP-069
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-069 is currently impersonating former Foundation Agent ███████ █████, and is housed at Humanoid Containment Site-06-3. SCP-069 is to be provided with any reasonable requested item and/or material so long as such request does not violate Foundation security protocols. As SCP-069 is currently on suicide watch, all requests it makes must be approved by no fewer than two (2) Level 3 personnel.
If SCP-069 attempts to breach containment, it must be subdued using non-lethal methods. If SCP-069 dies, undercover agents are to be instructed to monitor reports of incidents in which individuals appear to have escaped certain death and SCP-069 is to be re-contained as soon as possible.
Note: Despite the fact that SCP-069 is identical in all ways to Agent █████, it remains an active SCP in containment, and is not to be treated as a Foundation employee. Any requests for classified information are to be denied, and visits from former co-workers without proper authorization are not allowed.
Description: SCP-069 is a presumed humanoid entity of variable appearance and gender. Through an unknown ability, whenever SCP-069 is left alone with a recently deceased human body, the body will disappear and SCP-069 will take on the appearance, mannerisms, and knowledge of the recently dead individual.
Through extensive experimentation, it has been shown that SCP-069 is completely indistinguishable from the individual it impersonates, matching the original individual's fingerprints, DNA, and [DATA EXPUNGED] with nearly perfect precision. SCP-069 retains no knowledge of its abilities or former impersonations. SCP-069 responds normally to injury and pain, but if killed, will rapidly decay into dust regardless of any preservation attempts. SCP-069 will then re-emerge at the site of the most recent human death. There is no known maximum range to this effect, and so far has been observed in jumps of up to 675 kilometers.
SCP-069 can impersonate a single individual indefinitely. However, it will gain an overriding urge to "get their life in order", including but not limited to: resolving any outstanding financial or personal obligations, visiting extended family, updating their will and testament, and other acts of closure. When questioned, SCP-069 professes no driving motivation other than a desire to straighten out their lives in the event of unforeseen injury or death.
SCP-069 first came to the Foundation's attention on █/██/199█ following reports of one John M███████, a █████████ City firefighter who miraculously emerged alive from a 3-alarm building fire in which 2 other firefighters and 11 civilians perished. Undercover agents attached to the local authorities were notified of a possible SCP when reports emerged that the firefighter's equipment had been damaged beyond recognition, and that it had been deemed nearly impossible for the firefighter to emerge unscathed. Approximately three weeks later, then-presumed John M███████ responded to another large-scale building fire, during which he entered a smoke-filled room alone and was never found. A single civilian was rescued from the building, again nearly unharmed despite the heavy smoke reported within the building. SCP-069 was designated the following day, and rendered into Foundation custody by members of Mobile Task Force Xi-3 ("Body Snatchers").
Addendum 069-01: On ██/█/200█, Agent ███████ █████, a guard on duty assigned to SCP-069, was killed during the containment breach of SCP-███ and subsequently impersonated by SCP-069. Although initially in denial after being informed of its identity, it has been mostly cooperative since its impersonation of a mid-level Foundation employee. Contingencies for the use of deceased Foundation employees for future SCP-069 use is under consideration.
Addendum 069-02: On ██/██/200█, SCP-069 attempted to commit suicide after a junior researcher accidentally informed it that the family of Agent █████ had been told that Agent █████ was dead, and of their subsequent reactions. Due to the massive cost of possibly having to re-contain SCP-069, strict suicide watch measures are to be implemented. Plans to use other deceased Foundation employees as possible impersonation targets for SCP-069 have been suspended.

Have you read any TSE fics, or fics with elements from them, you would recommend?
I certainly have! This isn't a complete list because I don't have a pre-existing list of fics on standby but I'll keep updating this post every time I re-find one, so if you're not happy with the ones I've noted down so far or you've already read them, then I'll probably have some more listed by then.
Last Edited: 14/01/2024
The Buried Voice Trilogy by Mable is my favourite out of the ones I've read so far. It's an AU set in the TSE-timeline and follows Charlie as she tries to uncover the mysteries left behind by her father.
The puppet makes an appearance but Charlie isn't the one possessing it, and that's as much as I'll say without spoiling anything.
Two of the fics are complete and the third was last updated earlier this month.
The Wires That Bind Us by angelofrainfrogs (phantomhivemast3r) is another good one, it's set during Security Breach and follows Gregory as well as Charlie and Michael (who managed to survive the FNAF 6 fire).
It mostly follows the game-timeline of events but Sammy makes an appearance and Charlie-bot also comes into play, but - again - for the sake of not spoiling too much, that's all I'll say.
The first fic in the series is complete, and the second one was last updated earlier this month.
There's also A Step to the Left by thedistortion, which starts with game-timeline Michael waking up in the TSE-timeline after the FNAF 6 fire.
It only has a few chapters so far but I've read of it has been promising. Again, it was last updated earlier this month.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Ghosts Of Our Fathers by FanaticAo397 is a series I've recently had recommended to me. This AU is a sequel series to The Silver Eyes which ignores the follow-up novels. It has two plotlines, one following Charlie and John, the other follwing Carlton. It's a pretty good read.
The first fic in the series is complete, the second was last updated in November 2021 and the third was last updated in November 2023. I've also been informed that some parts are being rewritten.
That's all I have for now but, as I said at the start, I'll keep adding more as I remember/find them.

INSIDE JOB - BOSTON LOGAN 9/11: Cover-ups, Aborted Hijackings & Expositions [DOCUMENTARY - 2021] from 9/11 True Crimes on Vimeo.
Transcript: wp.me/p7OQsJ-Vi
DJ Thermal Detonator, an accomplished amateur filmmaker of many 9/11 films, provides the public with a detailed and factually accurate account of the Logan airport anomalies involving the suspects who hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175. Using national news reports the film is remarkably lucid in describing for the viewer, the Logan, Dulles, Newark, and national airports security lapses in which additional weapons were found by airline staff on other airliners that day and in the days where the national lock-down of all airlines was lifted. The film also reveals to the viewer obscure public reports regarding internal security breaches which may have had airline employees who were ''sympathetic" to those involved with the "planes operation". While denouncing the lack of a proper investigation by two congressional inquiries regarding extra hijackers and their affiliates employed within the airports nationwide, it is highly suspect this resoundingly important issue would be ignored altogether. Those assisting the hijacking teams, employees at Logan specifically, were reported in the preceding days of September 11th by CNN and CBS, however, this pertinent report went largely unacknowledged. Not just by the public, but also, from the Department of Justice as well. Were the items found at the White Mitsubishi parked at Logan airport evidence of additional suspects involved with the plot? Were there additional suspects employed by American Airlines, United airlines as well as Logan, involved in the planting of weapons on the hijacked airliners as well as additional planes where weapons were found? Who was Mohamed Atta and why did he stay in Portland Maine the night before? Were there more airliners targeted at Logan? Who financed these additional operatives in Boston in which during an FBI investigation uncovered that credit cards were used, some in the name of the suspects involved in the hijackings? Were the airline tickets purchased in cash or credit card by the suspects or those affiliated with the suspects? Were the hijackers of Flight 11 and 175 already in the cockpit before the planes took off? The film answers those questions and more. Making "Inside Job Boston Logan 9/11: Cover-ups, Aborted Hijackings & Expositions" absolutely recommended viewing for the layman and serious investigator into the events of September 11th, 2001.

The Fray: 2023 rules
Preamble:
These rules are written with the intent of providing a precise specification that will define the cars construction. It is fully expected, and in fact intended, that the racers will adhere to these rules as they design and build their cars. Any breach of these boundaries will result in the car’s disqualification.
The following rules list what can be done to the car. Anything not listed as allowable, is not allowed. For example: No fillers can be placed in the gap between the three com sections because there is no rule allowing it.
To support this principle, the tech committee will gladly answer any of the racers’ questions of the rules prior to tech. The voltage for the Fray is 20 volts. The final rules update for the 2023 Fray will be posted in January 2023. Clarifications, if needed, will be dated and posted in Clarifications section below.
Changes To Be Aware Of in 2023
There will be a 7 gram downforce maximum limit at a 70 degree ambient temperature as measured by Peter Doane’s “Peter Meter”. With one or two exceptions, all cars that have previously been measured and competed in the Fray fall within this reading.
New Parts Submission Guidelines:
Any new commercially available TJet part or resin body must be submitted to Rick Phillis for approval no later than December 31 prior to the event. All newly approved TJet parts and resin bodies must be commercially available for sale 60 days prior to the event and must be for sale in quantity from during Fray practice. Please send all parts submissions to:

APPROVED PARTS LIST
Complete Car Regulations:
The complete car must weigh at or between 19.0 grams and 24.0 grams.
The complete car must freely pass through a standard 1.3125 (1 5/16) HO tech block.
Body Regulations:
Body: The body must be a copy of a 1:1 car and concept cars.
Bodies must be manufactured by either the process of casting or injection molding and be made of resin or plastic. No featherlight resin allowed.
Bodies must be originally manufactured with the intention of being mounted with the use of two (2) screws via two (2) bodymounting posts on a/an: Aurora Model Motoring (which includes: Vibrator, Thunder Jet Wild Ones, Tough Ones and Xlerators), Bachmann, Faller, Model Motoring ThunderPlus, Marx, Eldon or Tyco S series HO chassis.
Bodies with castin handling pans or exaggerated details such as unrealistic or inappropriate hood scoops, oversized windows, side pipes, sloped sides, or snow plow noses are not allowed.
No Indy style Formula 1 or Formula style openwheel bodies will be allowed.
No ballast or fillers, other than color pigment, are allowed in the plastic or resin.
Maximum overall body width is 1.200. Accordingly, the body must pass through our 1.2 bodytech device.
The maximum thickness of the lower portion of the body, including items such as the front end, rear end, fender flares, and running boards must not exceed 0.125.
With the body mounted securely to the chassis and viewed from above, the body must cover the chassis except through windows and vents. Unrealistic overly large windows and vents are not allowed.
With the body mounted securely to the rolling chassis and when viewed from the side and/or the rear of the body, the upper edge of the top-plate, minus rails, cannot be above the rear window frame as measured at the rear of the topplate. (i.e.horizontal top of the gear plate (base) cannot protrude above the rear window opening). Put another way : The lower rear window opening must be equal to or higher than the gear plate plane.
Bodies must be fitted with all of the manufacturer’s original or exact-replica bumpers, heads, rollover bars, etc. in their stock locations.
Cracked or broken bodymounting posts may be repaired or with the use of glue and/or a plastic sleeve around the original post or a plastic rod/tube in place of the broken post.
Other than the plastic post reinforcements, stated in Body Rule 12, no additional weight may be added to the body.
The body may be lowered and lightened by removing material through the process of grinding or scraping as long as Body Rule 9 is not violated. Bodies cannot be heated or reshaped from the original cast of the body.
Bodies that have a separate roof and windshield casting/molding, and have moldedin interiors (also known as Hardtops, e.g. Aurora’s ’65 Mustang), may completely remove the interior portion of the body.
Front and rear wheel wells may be opened up for tire wheel well clearance. This opening may be no larger than a 1/8inch drill bit (.125″) around the entire wheel well and tire.
Wheel wells must not be modified in such a way as to allow the use of any other wheelbase than that which was originally intended by the manufacturer of that body.
Any bodymounting screw may be used. Nonmagnetic screws are recommended so that a loose screw will not be picked up by a passing car, thus causing damage to the car and/or the track.
Both front and rear screws must be used and must secure the body to the chassis at all times.
The front windshield must be plastic or resin, clear or painted, may be glued in place or molded in, and must fill the frame. Tape windshields are not allowed. Side and/or rear windows may be removed.
Bodies that violate Body Rules 4 and 9 by having illegal openings such as too large or unrealistic windows, missing engine covers, and open truck beds may be repaired by gluing a 0.025 minimum thickness plastic cover over the opening. The repair must be made so that its thickness can be checked using a micrometer having a diameter anvil.
ThunderJet and Dash Rolling Chassis Assembly Regulations:
TEAM RACING: Only original Aurora ThunderJet, Dash Motorsports, and Wizjet chassis assemblies with nonplated copper electrical components are allowed. Commutator brush springs may be bent to alter brush tension. Pickup shoe hanger plates may be bent.
INDIVIDUAL RACING ON FRIDAY: Only original Aurora ThunderJet assemblies with non- plated copper electrical components are allowed. Commutator brush springs may be bent to alter brush tension. Pickup shoe hanger plates may be bent.
The rolling chassis axle, armature, and drive pinion shaft holes may be opened slightly for increased clearance or peened to reduce clearance. Use of fillers to decrease clearance is prohibited. (2a) The Truck hole cannot be utilized in any way.
The rolling chassis assembly must not be fitted with bushings.
The chassis may be trimmed slightly (no more than .010) to allow for crown gear tooth clearance.
Only original Aurora 2 Lam TJet pancake gray armatures or Dash Motorsports 3 Lam armatures may be used for all race events, The Dash Motorsports 2 Lam armatures may be used in the team racing events. The arms must be used with their original commutator, and all of their original unmodified windings may be used. Armatures may be balanced and trued. A shim may be used between the armature and the top plate to prevent the motor windings from contacting the top plate.
Each armature pole is to be measured across two separate commutator segments. The AVERAGE of all three poles must be 16.0 ohms or greater at 70 degrees. This armature is LEGAL. All measurements are to be taken at the current available room (ambient) air temperature. The warming of either the commutator or the armature is not allowed before/during measuring. (The combined total ohm reading of all three armature poles must equal or exceed 48 ohms.) We have an armature that tests 16.0 on all three poles at 70 degrees. It ohms lower in cooler temperatures and will be the standard for testing arms at the event. The Hall temperature can vary between 60 to 70 degrees.
Only Johnny Lighting, Auto World, or Dash Motorsports Magnets may be used. The magnets may be sanded to fit the chassis. The distance between the magnets must be a minimum of .700″. This will be teched using our custom designed, specially fabricated Plug.
Magnet shims may be used but they must be plastic or cardstock. No shims are allowed either under or on top of the magnets.
Any flat top and bottom carbon/copper motor brushes are allowed. Brushes may be scored with one score line or an X.
All brass gears must be minimum thickness of .047
Only stock TJet or commercially available stock replacement 14 tooth brass armature pinion gears are allowed.
Only stock TJet or commercially available stock replacement 24 tooth brass idler and driven gears are allowed.
Only stock TJet or commercially available stock replacement 9 tooth brass drive pinion gears are allowed.
Only stock TJet or commercially available stock replacement 15 tooth crown gears are allowed. The crown gear diameter must equal or exceed .300″. In reducing the crown gears to .300″, the crown gear must maintain the 90 degree angle to the back of the gear’s top and bottom. The gear cannot be angled, tapered, rounded, beveled, thinned, sliced, diced, drilled, etc. The idea is to allow the stock crown gears to be the same diameter as the aftermarket crown gears. This will be looked at VERY closely. The crown gear boss may be trimmed, spacer(s) may be added to adjust for proper gear mesh within the crown gear box. You can add a small delrin retainer to the driver’s side rear axle for the purpose of adjusting crown gear mesh with the 9T rear pinion. The diameter of the delrin retainer must not exceed 0.125″ with a thickness not to exceed 0.070″.
Only metal drivengear shafts may be used. The drivengear shaft must not exceed .065″ in diameter.
Geartooth friction surfaces can only be deburred by polishing, filing, or sanding.
Gears must not be chamfered, lightened, or relieved.
Only commercially available front wheel, tire, and axle assemblies including Wizzard, Zoomin Motorsports, JW, RTHO, and OS3 may be used with two exceptions. The front and rear axle diameter must not exceed .065″ and the front tire diameter must equal or exceed .300″. Front axle washers (small spacers) are allowed. All front axle spacers/washers must be located outside the chassis or chassis frame rail. Maximum lateral movement in the front wheel assembly is 0.031 (1/32). All unmodified commercially available front wheel, tire, and axles parts may be mixed and matched. See approved parts list for allowable front ends.
Rear wheels must be plastic or Delrin with dished center. No axle weights, wheel weights or hub caps allowed on rear axle or inside the wheels. Note: A small delrin retainer (ie. front whell retainers) will be allowed on either side of the rear axle for the purpose of adjusting crown gear mesh with the 9T rear pinion. The diameter of the retainer must not exceed 0.125″ with a thickness not to exceed 0.0700″.
Any stock or approved replacement pickup shoe may be used. These shoes must have a factory formed step and the step must be unaltered except to allow flat pickup shoe contact with the track rail. Ski shoes are not allowed.
The “step” in the pickup shoe must remain at a minimum height of .010 from the top of bend #2 to the bottom of bend #3. The first bend in the step, (Bend #2), may be changed slightly so that proper “pickup shoe” to “rail” contact can be achieved. No attempts to “flatten” the “step” are allowed. The area between Bend #1 and Bend #2 may be “flattened” to achieve better contact with the “rails”, however Bend #1 must remain as stock. The front vertical slotted portion of the pickup shoe may be bent to limit shoe travel. The rear hook portion of the pickup shoe may be bent to limit shoe travel and adjust shoe tension. The chassis’ copper pickup retainer may be bent slightly to improve electrical contact.
Pickup shoe springs may be cut, stretched, shimmed, or compressed but must maintain stock shape and configuration.
Any amount of the vertical gearplate rails above the upper horizontal plane may be removed. No amount of material may be removed from the gearplate at or below the upper horizontal plane. The serial/patent numbers and letters must also remain intact.
Commercially available guide pins must be plastic and must be of a design essentially similar to the original Aurora black plastic front guide pins. They may be cut, trimmed, or bent. Countersinking of the guide pin screw hole is permitted.
Glue may be used on a rolling chassis assembly only for the purposes of attaching gears to shaft, guide pins to chassis, and front wheel axle retainers to the end of front axle. Solder may be used to attach metal gears to their metal shafts.
The Chassis may be oiled to maximize performance.
The Fray promoters reserve the right to clarify and interpret the rules as they arise for the best interest of the event.
CONTROLLERS Only the track power supply shall power the cars, A controller cannot store power nor can it interfere with the track power supply or with the operation of another racer’s car or controller.
These rules are an enumeration of what can be done. Doing something not listed as allowed is not allowed.

RACING PROTOCOLS – GENERAL
All tracks are six lanes
All tracks will be powered with 20 volts
All tracks are two wire only, no brake wire
All races will be race to the line format in each heat. Points are awarded in inverse order 1st place 6 points, 2nd place 5 points,……6th place 1 point.
At the end of the race, the team or individual with the most points is declared the winner.
Tiebreakers: Individual- first tiebreaker is the number of laps, second tiebreaker is run-time Team Event – If two teams have a tie in win/loss records, the head to head winner prevails. If the head to head race was a tie, the team with most 1st place finishes is the winner, if that was a tie it fall to second place finishes and so on down the line. If it remains a tie the team with the most laps in the head to head race is the winner. The final determination is the overall run time in the head to head race. If more than two teams are tied, and there is no head to head atvantage, the tie breaker will be the total points scored the tied teams in the races between all the tied teams. If two team tie in this scenario, then the two team tiebreaker will determine the winning team.

Okay, now Lewis is sure this isn’t supposed to be happening. And he’s almost certain that it wasn’t some complicated file access procedure, either. Not with… these sort of questions, at least.
A gas station pump? Really? What does this have anything do with… anything? He’s visibly confused now, dragging the slider around and eventually all the way to the right. $40.01. Was that supposed to mean something? He wondered what SCP 4001 was. Maybe, there’s still a chance this is something normal, he thinks as he reaches over to the console next to him and tries to look it up.
WARNING: O5 Approval Required The file you are attempting to access is available to personnel with Level 4/4001 clearance only. This clearance is not included within general Level 4 security protocol. BY PROCEEDING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CONSENT TO EXPOSURE TO A KNOWN COGNITOHAZARDOUS IMAGE. CONTINUING WITHOUT PROPER INOCULATION WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES. Attempting access beyond this point without clearance is grounds for termination of Foundation employment and cancellation of all educational, medical, retirement, and mortality benefits. In the event of incapacitation or worse by the cognitohazard below due to lack of inoculation, and thus an attempt at unauthorized access, this console will become inoperable, and automated viral agents will disable access to your Foundation account, bank accounts, social media, emails, and any other aspects of your online identity. In the unlikely event of survival, security personnel will be dispatched to detain you, and escort you to a secure site. You will be interrogated under truth-extracting memetic agents, then likely terminated.
…Okay, so that wasn’t normal at all. He gingerly exits that file and switches it off, returning quickly. He doesn't want his mortality benefits cancelled, after all.
Did someone try to access that SCP on this terminal, or something? Is this the- no, this couldn’t be the cognitohazard. And if it is, it’s an awfully slow-acting and benign one. It’s the anomaly, then? Maybe it breached or something.
Lewis honestly doesn’t know enough about the situation to come up with any intelligent conclusion, so he assumes the 40.01 is set on purpose. Why else would someone make a slider that maxes out at .01, anyways? He slides it all the way to the right and clicks Confirm again, determined to keep confirming whatever it wanted until he got some answers.
Lewis had expected for either the terminal to unlock normally, with the time now set as 9:39, or for some ACCESS DENIED message to pop up. Not for another similar looking prompt to appear- now he was sure this wasn’t some normal Foundation OS startup process thing. So it was either an unnecessarily complicated access procedure for some file, or….. Or it was an anomalous program running on a public terminal that, somehow, no one had caught yet.
And what did this prompt even mean? Adjust the slider until… you’re done? This had to be some sort of test, he thinks. He drags it left and right aimlessly until he realizes that whenever he stops, he’d technically be doing what it asks, and drags it all the way to the right, clicking Confirm with considerably heightened curiosity.
Oddly enough, no one had noticed him messing around here yet, so he better find out what this thing is before they do. His ears picked up every deviation from ambient noise, from someone walking slightly too close to the sliding sound of the door as it let someone else in. Needless to say, he was significantly on edge, now that he knew this was definitely not something meant for his eyes to see.

@sneezeonsunshine
That tubing was getting quite a lot of visitors recently. A few heroic citizens, a few misguided ones, a few accidental results of necessary collateral damage and all that.
But the worst part was actually waiting in boredom. There he was, sitting on the branch of a nearby tree, hands supporting the back of his head like a pillow, and the long braid hanging below. He enjoyed idling, but this was starting to bore him.
Keeping that stupid tubing in one piece was some sort of war tactic he hadn’t bothered to listen, all that mattered was the part involving ‘don’t let them do it. Kill them if you must’ part. The rest was forgettable jibberish.

Malcom’s box of spiders
**Item #:** SCP-XXXX
**Object Class:** Euclid
**Special Containment Procedures:**
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard containment chamber at Site-██. The chamber must be equipped with a reinforced, airtight box to prevent any potential escape of the contained arachnids. Access to SCP-XXXX is restricted to Level 3 personnel and above.
**Description:**
SCP-XXXX is an unremarkable cardboard box measuring 30 cm x 20 cm x 15 cm. Despite its outward appearance, the box contains a population of common house spiders (Araneae domestica). These spiders are not anomalous in any way and display typical behavior for their species.
SCP-XXXX gained its anomalous properties after being acquired by a reality bender named Malcom, who firmly believes the box serves as a portal to an alternate dimension composed entirely of spiders. Malcom, designated as PoI-XXXX, appears to possess reality-bending abilities, although they are limited to their perception of SCP-XXXX.
PoI-XXXX insists that the spiders within the box hold the key to a hidden dimension and regularly attempts to communicate with them through what they refer to as "dimensional vibrations." To date, no evidence supports the existence of such a dimension, and all attempts to verify PoI-XXXX's claims have yielded negative results.
Despite the lack of actual dimensional properties, SCP-XXXX requires containment due to the unpredictable nature of PoI-XXXX's reality-bending abilities. Any attempts to inform PoI-XXXX of the mundane nature of SCP-XXXX have been met with hostility and denial.
In the event of an unauthorized attempt to open SCP-XXXX, personnel are to be equipped with standard arachnid-handling gear, as the box may contain an unpredictable number of spiders at any given time.
**Addendum XXXX-A: Incident Log XXXX-01**
On [DATE], PoI-XXXX breached containment in an attempt to "liberate" the spiders from SCP-XXXX, claiming they needed assistance in navigating their supposed alternate dimension. PoI-XXXX was swiftly apprehended and detained, emphasizing the necessity of secure containment measures.
**Note:** As of now, SCP-XXXX poses no direct threat; however, ongoing psychological evaluation of PoI-XXXX is recommended due to their continued belief in the anomalous properties of the box.

@tsukiakaeru liked your post:He was gonna sit this one out, really - maybe the...
He was, by this point, probably covered in blood. His own, other people’s -- didn’t really matter. There weren’t strict specifications on this whole ‘helping the obviously-a-trap villain of the week’ gig, and he was not going to let that get in the way of his gacha streaks. Maybe these bad guys weren’t so bad after all - they’d left the internet up and the games’ servers running. How magnanimous. This raid was mostly hands-off though, so he was only glancing back at his phone and swiping now and then.
This city really was trying to ruin even chaos and destruction for him. Such a waste. “You’re supposed to save this kind of thing for a climax, not trot it out every month or so.” He grumbled, to the cat slinking around the alley he’d decided to stand in until he’d gotten all his dailies in and headed to the next dumb quest marker. Just for an audience of any kind. He didn’t actually expect it to talk back. Or be a person in disguise.

Closed starter for @wovensentinel
The low stakes of undeath made the latest development in Isola a source of frustration but little more. The thrill of having a purpose, a choice, were gone. If GPU succeeded it did not matter to the lich. Death did not frighten him, it would only be a return to what he once was. He did not actively care to protect the city either. Searching for a meaningful exercise of his agency, he took his scythe to whatever he could find. The conjured entities felt wrong, there was no actual life to take. Whatever he disposed of was likely just replenished anew, not unlike the liquid samurai he knew from the Tower of Fate. Specter Knight’s artificial harvest brought him to an area that felt wrong, but in a new, different way. It was like an itch, or that feeling one got before a sneeze. A prying irritation. He noted the mushroom infested insects and wondered if the fungi were the source of it. Not wishing to become a host to the spores he carefully sent his scythe to slice a bug some distance from him. A post-mortem explosion made him decide it was perhaps safest not to kill them. They appeared passive and if his only worry was fungus settling into his body, it might be best to avoid rupturing the riddled insects.
The tall knight flew further down the street, still caught on that strange feeling. Agitation, the bristling against an invading force. It was not something he had felt since his death. No answers appeared before him but he did spot a figure standing at the edge of a dark alley. A figure he... knew? That can’t be right. Dropping down to hover just a foot above the pavement, still a careful two meters from the mouth of the alley, Specter Knight peered at the figure. The dark eyes, delicately pointed ears, and flowing hair were familiar to him. Worse than familiar, a compulsion to embrace the figure washed over him. He could put no name to this face yet he ached. If this was someone from his mortal life, what were they doing here? Was this another summoned obstacle by the GPU? The nagging sensation that drew him here did little to help him make sense of what stood before him. Bony hands tightened around his scythe. Even if this wasn’t real, what harm was there in playing along? Why should he deny himself this? If they wanted to toy with him, let him be toyed with. He extended a hand to the figure in invitation.

@kizuatto
The smell of burning flesh, flickers of blue flame-- it all culminated in nostalgia for the blonde. She knew that to follow such clues would end up bringing her to the side of another member of the League. So, bearing a wide grin, Himiko did just that.
As she made the brief journey, Himiko took note that the trail she now followed was rife with scorched earth and building, as well as broken bodies of both beast and men. Humming, Himiko paid the carnage no mind, all too pleased to find more clues that lead her to someone she viewed as a comrade.
Despite the way to her supposed destination being quite well laden with destruction, the trek itself was short. After all, it wasn’t too difficult to spot a man as unique as Dabi. Laughing and raising her hands about, Himiko called out to the fellow villain, thoroughly pleased to see him.
“Dabiiiii!”

First Meeting;
@beyondtheglasswall is finally meeting their wife again.
Someone she knew was here. Somehow, Ion understood this. Perhaps it was the prickly feeling she had gotten earlier, that someone had been watching her. Perhaps it was that small urge to look back, to search the city for the one that had been watching her. The gaze had been Oversight. It had to have been.
When she had time to sit down and actually access her own Oversight (after a pause of wondering whether she could or not), the sight that met her eyes shocked her. Not only were multiple areas of the city around her completely totaled, but there were fights occurring all throughout the area. Including the island above. Actually, the fight she happened to find while combing the area... Ion now knew who the gaze had been from. One of them, at least.
It was dusty. Visibility was low, but going beyond the Third level of Oversight when she didn’t know what was going on would only exhaust her needlessly. But from what she could see.... “Prim!?” The bright shock of pink hair and orange clothing weaving among the dust was very familiar, and she didn’t have to look any closer to identify her at first glance. The boy she seemed to be up against wasn’t familiar to her in any way, but whether or not he was the enemy seemed unclear. Even so, they seemed odd. Like something.. Was off. Was it Prim? Was it the boy? Ion opened her eyes, cutting off the Oversight and her view of the fight. She needed to get up there, to get involved in a way she probably shouldn’t.
It was a long way to the island, and getting there wasn’t easy. Of the several minutes it took her to get to the nearest way up to the island above, most of those were dedicated to her running for her life away from various enemies roaming the streets. Also.... She could have sworn she saw the machines from the Soreil, in all their shiny and interesting glory mixed in the rabble that tried to deny her way forwards. Maybe she saw wrong?
Getting in the elevator up, she bent over to catch her breath, breathing hard as she tried to get a look at what Prim was doing now. Perhaps it was the climax of their battle, the ending. But she saw it. Prim fell. Not because she was pushed. Not for the lack of the boy trying to drag her back up from over the side. Because she let go of the boy’s hand, Prim fell.
Ion did not want to see it. She would not allow herself to watch the girl’s final impact on the surface of the island below. Opening her eyes and ignoring the tears starting to gather in her eyes as her heart screamed at herself for not getting there fast enough, she waited out the rest of her ride on the elevator to the top. She would get the answers she was lacking once she talked to the boy.
“.... Huh? Hu, wh-what-?” Upon reaching the actual area of the fight, what she saw first and foremost caused Ion’s mind to stutter, then completely go blank. In the middle of the field, looking fairly dusty, was.... Earthes. It was even the Mk. II version, the one she had made with all her heart with the Seven after refusing to believe her beloved was gone. “......?” ..... He hadn’t moved. It had been a minute or so since her mind went offline, but the robot hadn’t moved at all in the time she had been blankly staring at him. Was it because...? She didn’t want to finish that thought. Perhaps he just wasn’t at his terminal.
It took a great amount of effort to push back the overwhelming urge to go plaster herself to the robot’s side until it came back online, but she was rather used to denying that feeling from her time on the Soreil. Its fine, if he was here then that meant that she could talk to him again, once he picked up his terminal. In fact, his presence alone was enough to cause the uneasy feeling she had at the back of her mind to ease. If he was here, then perhaps she didn’t have to worry as much as she was when she had been ignorant of his existence.
“...? Ah!” She remembered what she had come up here for, quickly looking around the area for the boy who had been fighting Prim. He had suffered a few wounds from the glance she had seen when tuning back in, so it was better for her to get to him quickly to help. (A little late for that now, though..)
Ion found him, quickly moving to his side and kneeling down next to his head. She leaned over to assess if he was still awake, her hair falling with the movement and framing her face.
“A-are you awake? Can you hear my voice?” She gingerly, with slow and careful movements, lifted his head off the ground and onto her lap. It wouldn’t do for him to drown in his own blood, and she didn’t have any pillows or other soft surfaces to offer him. ... He could have been the bad guy in this situation. He could have, but Ion refused to believe so.
“Hey. Answer me.”
