Your boss's porygon is shiny right? Do you or him know how shiny porygon "work"? In the sense of if they're just code that can be altered are shiny ones just made with a different color scheme from the start?

Ok so basically they're made with code that allows for the “shiny particles” in the physical and digital worlds. The code somehow fucks with some of their other code, so these potentially affected lines of code get changed to accommodate. 86 said it was a good way to see if shiny porygon are legit: analyzing the code to see if only the color is different, if the “shiny particles” code is present, and if other lines are different. He also mentioned that shiny porygon often have a line of code that doesn't actually do anything depending on the year & location of manufacture — it's just a sentence or a face or smth but non-shiny porgs just don't have one of these specific superfluous lines.
