No one had really seen the titan of a woman this happy in a long time. She’s only ever this excited when she’s gained another asset to her army, meaning another tool to her ultimate goal. And no tool, might be greater then what they have gained today.

Something you might have noticed that’s a reoccurring theme with the Void Empire, is that of cannibalism & vampirism.

I guess you could explain this away because Sylvia actually is a vampire & the Empress is believed to be at least half vampire. And while that’s true, vampires typically only drink blood, they don’t go & take a bite out of someone to eat their flesh.

This reoccurring theme is actually well spread out through the Empire & for a reason. Those of Void do not see humans as people. To them, humans are like what livestock are to humans, food to be killed & eaten. In the same way humans use cows & chickens to kill, cook & eat, they view humans as their livestock. The less intelligent, interior forms of life.

When Violet becomes the Void Heiress, because she will be transformed into a vampire, she will take up drinking blood as she will suffer from bloodthirst, but she won’t go as far as to eat human flesh. Yet at the same time, she won’t stop others like Varona from going that far, in fact she’ll encourage it in others of the Empire, but still never partake herself.

It is, no longer much a secret as too what may of happened something of a week ago now. That someone rather important was taken away those days ago, a woman, by the name of Violet.

Gone suddenly she was, plucked from her happy life, as if she were a flower for picking. Though, a mystery did remain... why? Why her? Whatever had she done to deserve this? She had never done anything wrong to anyone, at least to who did not deserve it, & was happy living her life simply as it was. Was this pre-planned, or by twisted chance?

Where was it that she had gone? Where did Violet get taken too, by who... & was she alright?

Some of the blackness clears slightly, but the vision is blurry, as if having a difficult time connecting, it’s like watching a t.v. with a fuzzy screen. Still, it’s clear enough to make somethings out.

... it’s... a bedroom. A bed to be exact, with a birdcage hanging from it’s top. Someone is in that bed, but they can’t be seen from the angle. And...

... there are people standing around the bed, all looking at the one laying in it, along with one of them holding something green in their hand. Faces can’t be made out, to blurry.

“Is this safe?” One of them asks, they’re talking, voices a bit distorted, but it’s manageable. This one sounds female, with a light British accent.

“With my expertise, yes.” A different voice, male, cocky in tone. You really don’t like this voice for whatever reason. “All I need, is a bit of time & privacy to begin the rite.”

“Leaving you. Alone. With her. Urg.” A different female voice spoke then, raspy, ended her sentence with a disgusted sound that felt foreboding.

“Oh, don’t give me that tone.” Male voice spoke again, while the burred vision of the person holding the green object in his hand, moved it upward, towards to birdcage; appearing to place the thing within it. “You know my work is essential to the Empire, & our plans.”

“It’s not your ‘work’ I’m disgusted by, sorcerer. It what you will likely do in your ‘free time’ with the God Hunter here.” The raspy female voice responded.

“As if the opinions of a cannibal matter to me.” The male voice snapped back. “If all you plan to do Varona is complain, then begone from my chambers. And you as well, vampire.”

The raspy voiced scoffed, while one of the burred visions of one of the people shrugged, making their way out of the view of the vision, which was soon to be followed by another. Only one of the burred figures remined, as the peeked at the one laying in the bed before them. The ‘God Hunter’ as was said before.

“Such a... prefect visage....” The male commented to themselves. “Beautiful & dangerous, it is no wonder so many seem to desire you.” The burred man seemed to creepy lean over the one in the bed, an arm reaching to touch their face, & no reaction coming from the God Hunter at all. “Everything suits you perfectly... Violent Violet, even that clever little name.”

“It’s too bad in a moment, you will cease to remember it.”
