Much like what is suggested in the Shaymin events of BDSP/DPPT, the people of the Floaro-Eterna area have set up various, mirror-like rocks throughout Hisui, which serves as sites of worship for Shaymin. Aside from offering wreaths of flowers, other covered things (such as food, medicine, etc.), and their prayers, the rocks themselves are important. They are to be inscribed upon in a script that has, in the present day, been lost to time, aside from those in Sarana’s community and perhaps one other group of people. What is meant to be written on these stone tablets are expressions of gratitude, and what or who helped the person grow throughout their journey around Hisui. They remain etched upon the surface until Shaymin visits the shrine, and returns the stone to its mirror-like state once more. The go-to phrase is usually “<name of person/place/thing>, to whom I give thanks” (which is what remains written after the BDSP/DPPT event), although longer and more eloquent ones have been written.
In Sarana’s case, over the years, she has dedicated her expressions of gratitude to:
Her mother and father
Her pokemon (Jonquil, Sophora, Erykah, Primrose, Neem, Scilla)
Shaymin
Almighty Sinnoh
Mother Life (which is just Xerneas, as they’re viewed as the ones who created the shaymin)
Nature
The stars above
Hisui
And specifically for our lore, she has likely also dedicated one to Hanako, for her friendship
